As Lorenzo left with the girl he had picked, his laughter echoed faintly down the hall.
Luciano said nothing. He stood still for a moment, his hands in his pockets, his jaw clenched tightly. Then, without a word to anyone else, he turned and walked away from the sitting room.
His steps were fast, his face unreadable.
He didn't stop until he reached Belle's room.
Without knocking, he pushed the door open.
Inside, Gaia and Isla were wrapped in bedsheets, still shaken from everything that had happened. They both turned, startled by the sudden noise.
Luciano didn't say a word. He walked straight to Isla.
She opened her mouth, but before she could speak, he snatched the robe from the foot of the bed and threw it around her. His grip on her wrist was firm, almost harsh.
"Get up," he said coldly.
"Let go of me," Isla snapped, trying to pull away.
But he didn't. He dragged her out of the room without another word.
