"All six are healthy," she announced finally.
"Strong heartbeats, good movement, proper positioning.
The heat didn't harm them—if anything, they're thriving. Your body handled the stress remarkably well."
"That's good," Alex said, relief flooding through him.
"That's really good."
"You'll need rest today. Lots of fluids. Food when you can manage it." Moss began packing up her supplies. "And you need to decide what you're going to do about the rest of your stay here."
