Chapter 329 - A Station at the Edge of the World

"…Just what are you doing here?"

Suzuki sighed, his eyes dragging over the utterly messy, flushed form of Kobayashi. She was clutching a massive, half-empty bottle of sake like it was a lifeline. Her usually neat office attire was in ruins; her tie hung loosely around her collar, a few buttons had popped open to reveal the soft curve of her collarbone, and her skirt rode dangerously high up her thighs.

"Let's have some wild, sweaty sex right here, Suzuki! Gyahahaha!"

Kobayashi let out a degenerate, crazed laugh, tipping the bottle back and chugging the alcohol right there on the platform of an abandoned, middle-of-nowhere train station. They were completely alone, surrounded by nothing but absolute darkness and the wild beasts of the deep forest.

How the hell did they end up here?

Frankly, Suzuki wasn't entirely sure himself. He had been having a phenomenal weekend. With no need to work, he was flush with cash—thanks to selling starter accounts and a lucky auction hunt that netted him a cool 1.2 million yen. He had splurged on Kobayashi, buying her a luxurious, ergonomic chair to fix her terrible posture, alongside a collection of premium alcohol she'd normally hesitate to buy. He'd even treated himself to high-grade yakiniku and sweets.

He had been waiting for her at her apartment late into the night, expecting a quiet evening. Instead, she never showed up. Out of nowhere, his phone rang, and a completely wasted, stress-broken Kobayashi babbled about being stranded at this forgotten station. He had rushed over in a panic, and fortunately—or perhaps unfortunately for his sanity—she was perfectly fine. Just incredibly, unabashedly horny.

"…What are you even saying? Stop drinking and let's go home."

Feeling a mix of pity and sudden, uninvited arousal, Suzuki stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her waist, easily hoisting her up. If this were a few days ago, he would have struggled to carry a full-grown woman. But now? Her soft, warm body felt weightless against his chest. Had he really grown that much stronger? Or had the Manager's teachings simply shown him how to use his body—and where to grip her thighs—with maximum efficiency?

It had only been a day since he unlocked his new abilities. He was still stumbling in the dark regarding the specifics, but he knew two things for certain: magic was real, and terrifying mythological creatures existed.

The problem was, humans were inherently weak. Could a human truly grow strong enough to matter? Could magic alone let a human defeat a civilization-teaching god, or a dragon that could vaporize a city with a sneeze?

Thinking about the lore of this world, Suzuki knew dragons could casually trigger earthquakes, tear open wormholes, and unleash breath attacks rivaling nuclear warheads. Yeah, I don't think human magic is gonna cut it.

Even knowing that the director of Jigokumeguri System Engineering was a covert magician, Suzuki had zero intention of begging for an apprenticeship. The supernatural side of the world was notoriously ruthless. If his boss found out he knew his secret, Suzuki would likely get his memory wiped—or just get wiped from existence entirely.

Then again, humans were pretty ruthless themselves. The Witch Hunts of the past had driven mages and magical beasts out of Europe, forcing them to flee to places like America, Northern Europe, and even Japan just to escape the Church's influence.

Honestly, the only reason Kobayashi had ever survived all the supernatural bullshit in her life was because of Tooru—the dragon maid who just so happened to be the sole daughter of the strongest leader of the Chaos Faction.

Why am I even thinking about this right now?

It was because knowing the true dangers of this world made him crave strength. Ignorance was bliss, a phrase he only truly understood now. He needed a way to grow stronger. Cultivation? Breaking the limits of his mortal shell? Doing that in the modern era would require massive, absurd resources. It wasn't impossible, especially with how his body was changing, but right now, he had a much more pressing issue pressing against his groin.

He needed to get Kobayashi home.

Suddenly, she wriggled out of his grip, her warm skin sliding against his as she hit the ground and bolted from the station platform, giggling drunkenly into the dark forest.

"…What are you doing now?!" Suzuki yelled, utterly speechless.

"Come onnn!" Kobayashi called back, shooting him a sultry, lopsided smirk over her shoulder. "It's rare for us to be out in the middle of nowhere! Let's just have some fun! I want to find a nice, quiet spot in the bushes and go totally wild! I've always wanted to try doing it outdoors!"

"..."

Suzuki froze. Did I corrupt her?

His senior had always been the dependable, kind, and stoic type. Yet now? This woman was being so aggressively lewd that it was making his head spin.

Then again, he remembered the original timeline. This was a woman who routinely stripped people naked while drunk to force them into maid uniforms. She canonically shared a bed with Tooru. They were both adult women—lesbians at that—and naturally had needs. Had she been doing some wild, scissor-action behind closed doors all this time?

Stop! Don't think about it!

Suzuki shook his head, terrified that his mind was diving straight into the gutter. He had to drag her back to the city. If she wanted sex so badly, they could just do it at home! What was the appeal of fucking in a pitch-black forest, completely blind to their surroundings?

Normally, a dark forest would terrify him. Psychopathic hillbilly families, vengeful ghosts, or ravenous wild beasts could be lurking just out of sight.

"Wait, Suzuki! There might be bears out here! Hahaha! Let's hunt one! Bear meat sounds delicious right now!"

"....."

Suzuki sighed, massaging his temples. At this point, whether it was a ghost, a psycho killer, or a grizzly bear, he'd just beat the absolute shit out of it. With the Manager's training, he was pretty confident he could judo-slam a bear to death. Plus, a bear carcass would fetch a decent price on the market.

"Wait a moment, Senpai. It's dangerous out there. Besides, do you even have tomorrow off?"

"No! I have to work on a Sunday! That's why you need to drink with me, Suzuki! Come here and help me relieve all this built-up stress!"

"....."

Suzuki fell silent, suddenly understanding exactly why she had drowned herself in sake. He took a step into the brush. "Just for a moment, okay? Then we go home."

Kobayashi leaned against a tree, hiking her skirt up a little higher, her eyes gleaming with drunken lust in the moonlight. "Are you really gonna be satisfied with just a moment? Get over here... I promise I'll suck you dry."

"....Okay."

Despite the absurdity of the situation, Suzuki felt a heavy throb in his pants. She was a master-class programmer; her finger dexterity was legendary, and he could only imagine what that translated to when she used her hands and mouth on him. He might be able to wrestle a bear, but he stood zero chance against the sheer temptation of his horny senior.

He pushed through the thick bushes, ready to give in to her demands. "Come here! Come here!" she chanted happily.

But as the foliage parted, Suzuki froze.

Towering over them in the clearing was not a bear. It was a gigantic, awe-inspiring monster. Massive, leathery wings blocked out the moon, and thick, impenetrable scales covered its massive reptilian body. Calling it a 'lizard' would be a fatal insult.

Suzuki stared up at the legendary dragon looming before them, all his sexual frustration evaporating into pure, unadulterated terror.

"...."

Oh my god.
