Chapter 64 - Physics Defeats Brute Force

Chojuro was instantly crushed, completely knocked out like everyone else.

"Now, it's your turn," Suzuki smiled gently, adjusting his glasses. "Don't worry. I am an equal opportunity employer. I will beat the absolute shit out of you two, exactly like the rest."

"JINICHI-SAN!"

Ranta Zenin screamed with all his might, his entire body breaking out in a cold sweat. He knew they were utterly outclassed.

"I WILL STOP HIM WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT! BRING HIM DOWN TOGETHER WITH ME!"

Following Ranta's desperate cry, Jinichi Zenin—who had remained entirely silent and stoic until now—made his move. He raised his massive, scarred fists, and the air in the courtyard instantly grew suffocatingly heavy.

"Oh, what a dangerous technique," Suzuki murmured, looking up at the sky with a completely relaxed expression. "I might actually die if you hit me with that, Uncle."

Hovering directly above them was a rain of gigantic, stone-like fists, ready to hammer him into a bloody pulp!

This was Jinichi's innate technique: Missile Fist. It allowed him to conjure massive, hardened fists propelled downward by pure cursed energy. It was a highly destructive technique that perfectly complemented his monstrous physical strength. The raw kinetic power of a single giant punch was enough to crush a reinforced concrete building.

At this moment, Jinichi wasn't holding back. He conjured seven gigantic fists simultaneously, determined to crush Suzuki into paste!

"Paralyzing Gaze!" Ranta screamed, his eyes glowing ominously.

Unlike Jinichi's purely destructive technique, Ranta's technique was a lethal restriction. As long as his eyes were locked onto a target, their motor functions were instantly frozen, completely immobilizing them until his teammate crushed them into dust!

It was a flawless, lethal combination.

Yet—

"How cold of you, Ranta~," Suzuki's voice whispered right next to the young man's ear. "Do you really want to kill me?"

"Eh?" Ranta froze, his paralyzing gaze hitting absolutely empty space.

Did they honestly think they could trap him?

The exact millisecond Ranta tried to freeze him, and Jinichi summoned his storm of crushing fists, the Manager activated. The AI detected the microscopic spark of Cursed Energy flaring in Ranta's retinas exactly 0.08 seconds before the paralysis took effect. Simultaneously, it mathematically mapped the falling velocity and mass of Jinichi's seven fists.

Suzuki activated Frame Deletion the exact microsecond Ranta's sight connected with his body. Because Suzuki literally ceased to exist in the physical timeline for that split second, the paralysis failed to register a valid target. Utilizing the deleted frames, Suzuki bypassed the trap entirely and manifested directly behind Ranta.

"You're a good boy, Ranta. But unfortunately, you followed the wrong people."

Suzuki didn't even bother hitting the boy. Instead, he simply grabbed the back of Ranta's collar and violently tossed him forward—repositioning him directly into the exact mathematical coordinates where Jinichi's largest stone fist was about to land!

"?!" Ranta screamed in terror.

It was far too late to cancel the attack. Jinichi couldn't stop the momentum of his own technique.

BOOOOM! BOOOOOM! BOOOOOOM! BOOOOOM! BOOOOM!

The earth violently shook as the seven giant fists slammed into the courtyard, kicking up a massive, blinding cloud of dust.

As Suzuki calmly walked out of the smoke, the dust settled to reveal the horrifying aftermath. Jinichi had just crushed his own teammate into a bloody, broken mess beneath his fists.

"..." Jinichi's stoic face finally cracked.

"..." Maki and Mai stared in absolute horror.

"Well, Jinichi-san," Suzuki said smoothly, perfectly unbothered by the carnage. "Out of all the Hei members, you possess the highest raw physical strength, correct?"

He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, offering a light, polite smile. "I've recently been developing a very interesting new technique. Let me test it out on you."

"?!"

Jinichi felt every single muscle in his massive body violently tense. It was as if he were staring down a prehistoric monster summoned from the abyss. His expression darkened into a scowl. "Come."

Jinichi was not weak. He was one of the strongest pillars of the clan precisely because of his monstrous physical durability. More importantly, he was a seasoned brawler. He wasn't an idiot.

Is it just a linear trajectory? Jinichi calculated rapidly. He could already tell that Suzuki's application of Projection Sorcery was fundamentally different from both Naobito's and Naoya's.

"Don't worry," Suzuki smiled, stretching his arms casually as if preparing for a friendly sparring match. "I won't dodge. Let's compare our punches directly."

"...Are you serious?" Jinichi growled.

"I actively want to try and crush you to pieces, Jinichi-san. So please, give it everything you have, or you're going to end up permanently crippled."

"....."

"DON'T YOU DARE LOOK DOWN ON ME, BRAT!"

For the first time in years, Jinichi was completely enraged. And an enraged Jinichi was a terrifying force of nature.

He didn't bother trying to outsmart Suzuki. He represented pure Brute Force. If Suzuki wanted to trade punches, Jinichi would happily oblige. He summoned his largest cursed fist yet, launching a massive, rocket-propelled punch designed to overwhelm the boy with pure area-of-effect damage!

"Have you ever heard about Wave Superposition, Jinichi-san?"

Jinichi didn't answer, pouring all of his cursed energy into the massive fist flying toward Suzuki. Suzuki didn't mind the silence; he continued his physics lecture calmly.

"When two waves meet perfectly in sync, they combine their energy to form a massive 'Rogue Wave'. In physics, this is called Constructive Interference."

What exactly was Suzuki trying to say?

"Standard Projection Sorcery forces the user to execute twenty-four movements sequentially. Move A, then Move B, then Move C. But my application is different."

Suzuki pulled his right arm back. He activated his Constructive Interference technique. Instead of using his King Crimson-style frame-skipping to simply accelerate a single punch to Mach speed, he fundamentally overlapped the physical movements.

He visualized exactly 24 distinct, Mach-speed punches aimed at the exact same physical coordinate on Jinichi's incoming fist.

The Manager flawlessly calculated the overlap. The 24 separate frames were forcefully compressed into a single microsecond, converging on one absolute point in space directly in front of him.

When Jinichi's gigantic cursed fist connected with Suzuki's normal-sized fist, the kinetic force of Suzuki's impact was mathematically magnified exactly twenty-four times.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

The resulting shockwave didn't just stop Jinichi's massive attack.

"...." Jinichi's eyes widened in absolute shock.

The kinetic explosion traveled straight up Jinichi's arm and completely vaporized the cursed energy construct.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

"Jinichi-san. You are weak."

Jinichi's massive body was violently blasted backward. He had just been hit with the compressed, overlapping kinetic force of twenty-four Mach-speed punches in a single, instantaneous microsecond.

Force x 24.

Even if Jinichi was a Special Grade 1 Sorcerer with highly reinforced skin capable of tanking a heavy blow, human biology physically could not defend against twenty-four catastrophic impacts occurring at the exact same microsecond.

Frankly, the technique was horrifyingly lethal. If Suzuki had aimed for Jinichi's chest instead of his fist, the resulting internal shockwave would have instantly liquefied the man's internal organs into soup.

"But I believe you'll survive, Jinichi-san."

Jinichi couldn't hear him. He was already unconscious, his massive body deeply embedded in the crumbling stone wall of a distant estate building.

"Wew..." Suzuki exhaled slowly, adjusting his sleeves.

He had to admit, field-testing all the physics theories he had been developing over the past week was incredibly fun, especially since the entire clan was so eager to act as his crash-test dummies.

This Constructive Interference technique was a massive success. Instead of hitting an enemy twenty-four times in a row like a normal brawler, compressing the timeframe allowed the impacts to occur simultaneously. With this technique, he could completely overpower any "power-type" fighter using pure mathematics.

Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

"Amazing!"

Suddenly, a highly familiar, incredibly annoying voice dripping with a thick Osaka dialect rang out across the destroyed courtyard.

"Amazing! Truly amazing! You are incredible, little brother!"

"Aniki."

Suzuki slowly turned his head to look at his older brother, Naoya Zenin.

Naoya was standing atop a nearby roof, slowly clapping his hands. He wore a sickeningly smug smirk, looking down at Suzuki with pure, unfiltered arrogance, as if he were a god looking at an entertaining insect.

"But you really need to stop your little tantrum now, okay?" Naoya sneered, his eyes narrowing maliciously. "Or Onii-chan is going to have to give you a spanking and beat the absolute shit out of you~!"
