Chapter 25 - "A Monster-taming Scroll, But.."

BEEP. [Laxative Skill is activated!]

The next second, the dung beetle monster visibly stiffened, as if there was something stirring its inside, but it was too faint to be called "pain".

Regardless of whether the monster felt the pain or not, the monster did feel something slowly coming out of its buttock.

Without Castra needing to use Llyod to collect the byproduct, the monster very happily pushed out whatever was coming out of its b*tt and once the censored thing was out, it immediately scooped it with its tweezers.

The stench of the censored thing slowly spread throughout the arena and the group of survivors immediately held their breath, afraid that they would faint within seconds.

At the same time, when the dung beetle boss monster was about to mix the censored thing with the sand to create a dung sand ball, Castra shouted at his companions.

"Everyone! Attract the boss monster!"

He can't let the boss monster mix its pure dung with the sand!!

Mario and Garfin, the two damage dealers in the team immediately moved in unison.

"Barbecue! Wolfie! Use [Fire Breath] one more time!"

The two spirits spurted their fire breath towards the boss monster's huge body and the boss monster was instantly enraged.

"Duuuuu!!"

The boss monster dropped the censored thing and turned its huge body towards the pitiful fire beast spirits, as if ready to eat them in one gulp.

But before the boss could do anything, Garfin had already arrived near one of its legs and with a light scratch from his claw...

Slice!

A tingling pain shot through the leg.

"DUUUU!!" Enraged by the pain, the boss monster immediately stretched its pained leg towards the enemy.

Swoosh!

The sharp leg that was surprisingly flexible for its size and body structure cut through the air, but it touched nothing, not even a fluff from the almighty cat master.

Garfin had already jumped around lightly and continued to inflict small injuries on the boss monster from time to time, completely distracting the monster.

While the monster was distracted, Castra immediately summoned his beloved Llyod and sent Llyod to the censored thing.

Before his passive Absolute Scooper Skill could be triggered again, Castra used his skill first.

"Activate The Way of The Shovel!"

BEEP. [The Way of The Shovel Skill is activated!]

The next moment, Llyod shot out like a meter and scooped the censored thing as big as a bucket into a plastic bag that magically appeared out of nowhere.

DUNG! [You have collected the Sand Dung Beetle Boss Monster's Giant *beep* Ball × 10]

! Just one bucket of poop, one scoop, and it was worth ten poops!

Immediately after that, the system notification that Castra had been waiting for sounded in his mind.

DUNG! [You have acquired a unique *beep*! Storing the *beep* in the *beep* collection storage •••]

DUNG! [Giant *beep* Ball 10/50]

[Reward: 1 gacha ticket]

Ohhhh! So what Poo said about collecting special poops outside of the main missions would earn him one gacha ticket was true!

A pity the gym rat bro wasn't considered special.

But wait, he still needed 40 more poops which means 4 more scoops!

Luckily, the Laxative Skill had a super short cooling down time and with the title [Leapfrog Fighter], this skill literally had no cooling down period whatsoever.

Although the effect of the skill on a much stronger enemy was minimal, it was still effective in forcing the enemy to squeeze a few more poops, anyway!

Castra didn't hesitate to activate his [Laxative Skill] once more and repeated the steps a few times.

A few moments later...

DUNG! [You have collected 50/50 Giant *beep* ball, a special *beep* outside of the main mission.]

DUNG! [You received a reward for your enthusiasm collecting *beep*: Gacha ticket × 1]

DUNG! [You have 1 gacha ticket. Do you want to use it now?]

[Yes] [No]

This is what he's been waiting for! Of course— wait, get a luck buff first.

Castra suddenly went towards Garfin and…rubbed his face all over Garfin's head.

Garfin: ??

"Hooman!! Are you crazy— "

"I'm sorry, your majesty— acho! I need your lucky buff!"

After getting the buff he wanted, Castra clicked the [Yes] option and the familiar toilet that only he could see appeared out of thin air, spinning a bunch of balls.

A few seconds later, the final winner flew out of the toilet with a splash.

Please, please, get something good, something good—

The gacha ball exploded on Castra's face and the sweet voice of the system rang in his mind.

DUNG! [Congratulations! You received a one-time monster taming scroll × 1]

[Detecting multiple suitable taming targets ••• ]

[Do you want to use the item right now?]

[Yes] [No]

Castra looked at the item he got from the gacha machine and almost ascended to the sky.

Ahhhhh! He's so lucky! So lucky!!! This item is exactly what he needed to defeat that boss monster!

Thank you, your majesty Garfin!!

Castra immediately clicked [Yes] and a new golden panel popped out.

[Please select your target.]

A 3D image of every single living monster in the arena appeared in front of Castra, along with their most basic data such as ranks and potential.

Castra didn't even look at the mob monsters and immediately chose the dung beetle monster that was glowing with a golden light—

I choose you, pikadung!

[Warning! Warning! The target you choose is several levels stronger than you!]

[To successfully use the taming contract scroll, you have to reduce the target's health by 75%]

...eh? Eh?

The scroll isn't omnipotent? He still had to beat the dung monster until it was dying??

Poo, who saw Castra's system panel, immediately twirled on the spot before whispering in Castra's ears, acting like a devil.

[Host~ I'll be off work in twenty five minutes~ Since your scroll is a system's item, you won't be able to use it when the system shuts down~ ]

So, please beat up the boss within the time frame!
