By the time the rains had ceased once more, the sky was already streaked with amber and gold, with only a light spattering of rain clouds in the distance.
Kai had already forced his way back into his wet trousers, cringing in disgust at the sensation of the fabric clinging to his skin.
When he pulled his equally damp shirt over his head, he shuddered against the chill.
But before the cold could dampen his mood, warm, strong arms wrapped around him from behind.
"I forgot to ask, when did you get a tattoo?" He ran his hand over Kai's chest.
"Ah, that's actually my new Artifact that Uri made for me on Amunet."
"Oh?" Rami questioned, "What does it do?"
Kai scoffed, rolling his eyes to the heavens in disdain, "A shit load of nothing. I left for nothing."
Rameses placed his chin on his shoulder and kissed the side of his face, "Hmm, I'm sorry. Do you feel a little better now?"
