After a month Dantè was full back to health, he left the mage's recovery room to immediately find Fang to apologise,"hello Fang." He said between a sigh.
"Your awake." Fang said to him happy to see his friend had awoken,"I've come to apologise for what I did it wasn't your fault and I shouldn't have lashed out like that at you.", Said Dantè, as soon as he said that a council member appeared behind him,"Dantè Rancka...You are sentenced to a day in the forest I hope you understand why."
Without arguing back Dantè allowed the council memeber to lead him to the forest with little to none resources fo survive, including logs and flint, and a dagger and crossbow.
As the noon started Dantè set up something that resembled that off a resting spot, after he finished setting up he was attacked by a lowly spirit which he made quick work of it slitting its throat, blood sprayed over Dantè he collected some and put it in a flask to lure vampires into a trap. He cooked the spirit over a fire and ate its remains as a source of food, its taste was a perfect mix of sweet and salty. As the day progressed he noticed a vampire lurking In the woods, knowing he could make quick work of this vampire put out his blood filled flask just outside of his little resting spot, the vampires gaunt, hunchback figure creeping towards the flask as it was about to pick up the flask Dantè pulled out his crossbow and hit it in its shoulder. The vampire fell to the floor and started to screamed,"there are more coming.", Dantè looked confused as the vampire said this,"who are coming?!" Replied Dantè worried,"more like me, there going to kill you." He laughed I'm a sing song voice, Dantè tied the vampire to a tree,"when are they coming and were?", he said through gritted teeth,"tonight in these very woods", the vampire said. Dantè thought for a moment,"I'll make a deal with you, if you help me kill or defeat these vampires I will reward you, deal?", Dantè asked cautiously, the vampire scratched his chin,"Deal.", after the vampire said this Dantè cautiously untied him from the tree, the vampire dusted himself off, "there we go."
As the day went on Dantè shared some spirit meat with the vampire, just then they heard some rustling in the leaves and a tall and strong spirit jumped out, the vampire extended its claws and climbed up its back while Dantè aimlessly swung at its front half, the vampire bit the spirits neck and it bellowed, Dantè shot it in its head with his crossbow too, the vampire drained the spirits blood to enhance himself.
It started to get dark. Night was approaching...
The vampires were approaching...
