Chapter 4 - TRAINING ARC

TRAINING ARCAfter the attack on Ember Guard, we trained relentlessly. Every day was a struggle, every moment a test of endurance. Survival had become more than a goal—it was a necessity. At the same time, understanding and controlling our powers was essential. But there was a problem: most of us could only use our abilities for a short time. Five, ten minutes at most. After that, exhaustion would set in, leaving us vulnerable. My power was different. I could use it continuously, at any moment, though even this was only the beginning. It wasn't my full strength—just a glimpse of what I was capable of.Our training was intense. The Ember Guard soldiers guided us, showing us techniques, strategies, and ways to harness our abilities. Their powers were not identical to ours, but they shared similarities that we could learn from. Each day, we pushed ourselves further. I tested my limits, exploring what I could do, until one day I felt something change within me. A surge of energy erupted inside my body, like a contained explosion waiting to burst. It was fire—a rare, powerful force that few in this world could wield. For now, I could only control it for ten minutes, but even that was enough to make me feel unstoppable. My friends were improving too, each mastering new techniques. The wind user could summon tornadoes that twisted and roared with incredible force, the air bending to his will. The lightning user had learned to surround himself with a high-voltage current, crackling dangerously around him, lighting up the space like a storm. The water user could create a massive water lion, flowing and striking with precision. The teleporter can teleport all of us in same time. The ice user could shape enormous glaciers, moving colossal ice structures with ease. The fire user could release heat reaching 200°C, making the surrounding air scorchingly hot. The man with laser eyes had unlocked the ability to shoot from both eyes simultaneously, unleashing devastating beams, and the last one could shrink his body to the tiniest size, vanishing from sight entirely.Training was brutal, but we endured it all. We pushed through exhaustion, pain, and fear, knowing that every moment counted. Each day brought us closer to mastery, closer to becoming the warriors we needed to be for the battles ahead. The looming confrontation with the Dominion of Ashes' general and leader hung over us like a shadow, pressing on our minds and fueling our determination. Every strike, every maneuver, every bit of effort mattered.By the end of each grueling day, we were drained, yet stronger. Our bodies ached, but our resolve hardened. The power within us grew, sharper, fiercer, and more controlled. I could feel my fire power responding to my thoughts, a force ready to explode at any moment. My friends were equally formidable, their abilities now refined and deadly. We trained with a single purpose: to survive, to fight, and to protect Ember Guard. The coming battle would test everything we had learned. But we were ready—or at least, we would make sure we were ready.
