Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

JES POV:

As Jes stepped into the hall, he was struck by the sea of expectant faces. The air was electric with anticipation, and the scent of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, mingling with the sweet aroma of pastries.

Jes's eyes scanned the room, locking onto a figure that made his heart skip a beat.

"How can a man be so beautiful?" Jes thought to himself, his gaze fixed on the guy's cat-like eyes, pale skin, slender build, and chiseled features. Jes's eyes lingered on the man's lips, noticing the slight curve of a smile.

He looked elegant, yet somehow vulnerable, like a delicate flower amidst the chaos of the campaign.

As Jes stared, the man's eyes met his, and Jes felt a jolt of electricity run through his veins. His heart pounded in his chest, and he couldn't look away.

The man's eyes seemed to hold a mixture of curiosity and caution, but Jes was drawn to them like a magnet. He felt like he was drowning in those eyes, unable to breathe or think clearly.

Jes's imagination was cut short by Mr. Min's voice, introducing his son, Bible. Jes's eyes narrowed slightly as he watched Bible smile and wave at the crowd. He seemed confident, yet somehow shy, like a kid who was still finding his place in the world.

BIBLE'S POV:

As his father finished his speech, Bible noticed a commotion at the back of the hall. The doors flung open, and a man dressed in a sleek black suit strode in, his shiny black shoes making a soft clicking sound on the floor.

The audience erupted into cheers and screams, with some fans holding up signs with Jes's name.

Bible's eyes followed Jes as he made his way to his seat, his confident stride and charismatic smile commanding attention.

Bible felt a shiver run down his spine as Jes's eyes met his, but he quickly looked away, unsure of how to process the sudden jolt of attraction. He felt like he was melting under Jes's gaze, like a popsicle on a hot summer day.

As Jes took the stage, the crowd's cheers and applause washed over him like a wave. He smiled, feeling a rush of adrenaline as he began his speech. His voice echoed through the hall, and Bible could feel the audience hanging on his every word.

After the debate, Bible couldn't shake off the memory of Jes's piercing gaze. He felt like he was haunted by those eyes, like they were following him everywhere he went.

JES POV:

As Jes took the stage, he felt a rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins. He smiled, feeling confident and charismatic, like a rockstar performing for his fans. His voice echoed through the hall, and he could feel the audience hanging on his every word.

After the debate, Jes couldn't shake off the memory of the beautiful man he'd seen earlier. "Apart from being Mr. Min's son, who's that guy?" Jes asked his assistant, Job.

"He just got back from abroad to support his father's election," Job replied.

Jes's eyes narrowed slightly as he processed this information. "Hmm, interesting," he said, a plan already forming in his mind.

JES POV:

As Jes stepped outside for a quick smoke, the cool evening air hit him like a slap in the face. He lit a cigarette, taking a long drag as he leaned against the wall. The smoke curled out of his mouth, mingling with the misty evening air.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Jes turned to see the beautiful man from earlier walking towards him.

"Well, well, well," Jes said, a sly smile spreading across his face. "Whom do we have here?"
