Chapter 168 - A God-Tier Typhlosion! “Will You Be My Trainer?”

Froslass collapsed into Aurore's arms.

Seeing her partner injured because of her—

Aurore's eyes burned with anger as she glared at Park Budo.

"Even if I die…"

"You won't take a single one of these eggs!"

"Hahaha!"

Park Budo burst out laughing.

"As if anyone here can stop us!"

Their lineup:

6 Champion-tier Pokémon2 Totem-tier Pokémon (one at peak)

They weren't invincible—

But escaping?

No one here could stop them.

"Enough talking," the leader said coldly.

"Kill her. Take the eggs. Every second we waste is money."

Park Budo nodded.

"Honchkrow—Air Slash. Kill her."

He didn't even bother watching.

He turned—

And went back to collecting eggs.

To him—

Aurore was already dead.

Then—

A voice echoed through the cave.

"You think you can take my clan's eggs…"

"…without my permission?"

Everyone froze.

"Who's there?!" Park Budo shouted.

They scanned the cave.

Nothing.

Then—

Something impossible.

Aurore…

Was still alive.

Park Budo's pupils shrank.

"How is that possible?!"

"Whoever you are—get out here!"

"Honchkrow—kill that girl!"

But—

Honchkrow didn't move.

Its body trembled.

Fear.

Pure, instinctive fear.

"You still dare act in front of me…"

"…you truly deserve death."

This time—

They all heard it clearly.

The voice—

Came from the lava.

Everyone turned.

The molten surface churned violently.

And then—

A figure emerged.

A Typhlosion.

But not like the one outside.

This one—

Was different.

Its flames burned deep violet-red.

"…Two Typhlosion?!"

The poachers were stunned.

And this one—

Was far beyond Totem-tier.

"…G-God-tier…?"

"You may die now."

The Typhlosion spoke calmly.

Behind it—

Several clusters of violet flames formed.

In the next instant—

They engulfed the poachers.

No screams.

No struggle.

They vanished.

Completely.

"Are you alright?" Typhlosion asked, walking toward Aurore.

Aurore stood frozen.

Saved by a Pokémon—

A god-tier Pokémon.

"I… I'm fine."

"Wait—there's another Typhlosion outside, fighting a trainer!"

"It has already won."

Typhlosion glanced upward calmly.

Another flame split from its back—

And flew out of the cave.

Outside…

The battle had just ended.

The other Typhlosion stood victorious—

Preparing to drive the enemy away.

Then—

A violet flame descended.

It expanded instantly—

Swallowing both Shiftry and its trainer.

Gone.

Reduced to ash.

Ethan, watching nearby—

Was stunned.

"…That power…"

If he wasn't mistaken—

That was from a god-tier Pokémon.

So it was true.

The Hala Volcano Cluster—

Contained one.

"…Never underestimate a Pokémon tribe," Ethan muttered.

Moments later—

He saw Aurore emerging from the crater—

Alongside the violet-flamed Typhlosion.

"…?"

Ethan immediately rushed over on Metagross.

Seeing Aurore's weakened state, he frowned.

"What happened?"

After hearing the full story—

Ethan was left speechless.

This situation…

Was absurd.

"Let's treat your Pokémon first," he said.

After basic care—

Their conditions stabilized.

They just needed rest.

Meanwhile—

The two Typhlosion faced each other.

"You're strong enough now to protect the clan," the god-tier Typhlosion said.

"It's time for me to leave."

The other Typhlosion let out a low cry.

Reluctant.

"I'll come back."

Ethan's heart skipped a beat.

Wait.

Don't tell me…

The god-tier Typhlosion turned—

And walked toward Aurore.

"Human."

"Will you be my trainer?"

Aurore froze.

Her eyes widened.

Then widened again.

"…You're talking to me?"

"Yes."

Silence.

Then—

"I WILL!!!"

No hesitation.

None.

A god-tier Pokémon—

Choosing her.

How could she refuse?

Watching from the side—

Ethan finally understood.

The Wishing Star.

It worked.

It actually worked.

"…That thing really grants wishes," he muttered.
