Confusion filled the stands.

"And this Swampert actually mastered it."

And an absurdly perfect execution.
Li Yao narrowed his eyes, then smiled.
"Counter, huh…"
"I underestimated you."
The Wall Appears – Ferrothorn
Steelix was recalled.
Li Yao released his second Pokémon.
A round, spiked, steel-and-vine-covered Pokémon landed on the field.
"Ferrothorn?!"
Ethan frowned.
Grass + Steel.
One of the most annoying defensive combinations in existence.
Insane resistances.
Iron Barbs.
Leech Seed.
Ingrain.
A nightmare wall.
Ethan considered switching Pokémon—
But Mega Swampert growled.
He wanted to continue.
