Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The Memories

Echoes of Power

A World Transformed

In a world where God is absent, his departure left echoes of power that once sustained him. These echoes, originally absorbed by God to remain strong, were left behind when he vanished. The world, feeling the absence of its creator, began to change dramatically. It started absorbing these echoes of power, using them to create a self-governing system.

An Unexpected Encounter

Ash, a high school student known for his striking purple eyes and jet-black hair, was leaving his part-time job when he felt a sudden shove from behind. He stumbled but quickly regained his balance, turning around to confront his aggressors. It was Mark and his group of friends, notorious bullies. Ash's anger flared as he faced them, his eyes narrowing with defiance.

Ash: "What the heck, man? Why did you push me?"

Mark: "You loser, why didn't you give me your lunch money today? You have a death wish, you abandoned child."

Ash clenched his fists, angered by Mark's cruel words.

Ash: "You think you can act like this because your dad is a government employee?"

Mark: "Yes, I can do whatever I want 'cause my family backs me. You can't do anything 'cause you don't have a family or any individual power."

Mark's words echoed painfully in Ash's mind, triggering a memory from his childhood.

A Memory Unlocked

As Mark's words cut through the air, Ash's mind drifted back to his 10th birthday—a day of joy and laughter, celebrated in their home's lush garden. Family and friends gathered, the air vibrant with the scent of flowers and cheerful voices. Amidst this celebration, an unfamiliar voice pierced through—a mechanical cadence that resonated within Ash's consciousness.

"System synchronized," it intoned, sending a ripple through Ash's mind. "Target: GOD," it announced, and Ash's heart skipped a beat. The world around him blurred as the system's progress unfolded. "System at 0% synchronized," it began, then swiftly moved to "System at 55%," each update echoing like a drumbeat in his mind. "System at 100%," it finally announced with a definitive ding. As the system completed integration, a pulse of energy surged through Ash, connecting him to something vast and omnipotent and the memories of god flow truth him yet with the memories the wold feel god again and try to locate him and use him to find the origin of power. When the world used the system to locate ash came an unexpected error: "The target has overridden system functions. Error: the target has creator privileges across all systems."then the world try to bypass the god authority in the system but ash acted.

The Protocols

In a bid to preserve his memories, Ash hastily set up a protocol within the system. He instructed it to restore his memories when triggered, even as the world attempted to erase them.

Ash: "System window."

A system window opened, revealing his status: Human, System Access: ABSOLUTE, XP Points: 0, Level: 0, Skills: Edit Level MAX, Program Level MAX.

Ash: "Use skill 'program system' to create a memories program."

He directed the system to shield his memories until the right moment, ensuring they would merge with his current ones when the time was right.

A Cosmic Revelation

As the system raced to complete Ash's protocols, memories flooded into his mind—an overwhelming torrent of information about the world's origins and its reliance on the echoes of power. He learned of the world's struggle to sustain itself and its desire to mold a new god.

He saw the beginning of time, where darkness reigned supreme. The first origin of power collided with this darkness, birthing a god nourished by this power. Yet, the god's insatiable desire for more led him away, leaving behind echoes of power that fueled creation.

In a self-sacrificial act, the god created a new origin, using his essence to forge it, only to be reborn as Ash—a fragment of his former self. The world, unable to locate the new origin, sought to mold a new god, placing Ash at the center of this cosmic struggle.

A Leap into the Future

Back in the real world, only a second had passed, but Ash's head throbbed with the weight of knowledge. A screen flashed before him: SYSTEM LOADING... system operational. The system activated, teleporting Ash 50 years into the future, where he would face a world transformed by the echoes of power.
