Clay Moore woke up slowly, blinking as cold metal pressed against his cheek.
I was lying on the floor.
Voices surrounded him.

?:…Do you think that kid will survive?
?: bet he'll die without even trying.
?:Yeah, makes sense.
?:I think he's already dead.
?:Shh ....what if he hears you?
They were whispering.
I can hear you, I thought.
I groaned softly and pushed myself up into a sitting position.
Six kids stood around him.
No adults, Just kids about his age.
Three girls. Three boys.
My eyes moved from one to another.
One girl had ginger hair, smaller than the rest, clutching her sleeves nervously.
Next to her was a gray haired girl, standing beside a boy who looked almost exactly like her both had round, chubby cheeks, like twins.they stood with wary eyes.Another boy besides the twin with a blond hair he have an amazed and excited eyes like I am some kind of entertainment.I look besides him and see,another girl ,she had pure red hair, her posture stiff, eyes alert like she'd attack without warning if someone made a wrong move which is a bad sign because it's clearly that I am the only person mo they don't know of And then besides her is a boy with black hair.
He stood calmly, almost glowing under the strange light. His expression was gentle, confident. Charming. The kind of person you'd trust without knowing why.
While I'm analysing them the Black hair boy speak up.
?: Hi. I'm Neo.
He smiled warmly
Neo:This is Scarlet
He said touch the red girl hair
Neo: this one is Karl
Touching the blond hair guy shoulders
Karl: YO NICE TO MEET YOU !
smiling widely,he looks on me with an interest
Neo:this cutie here is Miya
Miya:ahm h..h..i nice to meet you..
She said hiding in the back of Karl
Neo:this two are
?: I'm gem and I'm Ni (nice to meet you we're twin )
They said at the same time happy
I didn't talk not because I hate them but because I'm confused
Neo: Don't worry we're not bad guy we're here to help you
I didn't talk he still smiling patiently
Neo: I might not look like it, but I'm older than everyone here I didn't say it to intimidate you but to inform you that as an older I was worried that you are might feel uncomfortable or hurt somewhere. Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you want water? Food? Are you dizzy?
He spoke quickly, genuinely concerned.
Neo: Those aliens won't stop doing stuff like this… but don't worry. No one here will hurt you.
One of the kids frowned.
The word alien stuck in my head
(Thinking:what alien what they mean?where am I? someone will hurt me??)
I stop thinking when I hear Karl talk
Karl: Why are you standing on the chair, hyung while saying that?
Another voice whispered.
Gem: Shush! Hyung's trying to make himself look more reliable. He always does that.
The blond-haired boy snorted toward the gray-haired boy.
Karl: Hmm well that's makes sense.
He said trying to not laugh on his hyung behavior
Gem: Hyung just wants to impress the new kid.
He said again trying to make neo some face .
Neo cleared his throat loudly that's make everyone including me to look on him
Neo: Ahem. Can you speak?
He ask me with a gentle tone completely ignoring the comments.
The red-haired girl snapped.
Scarlet: Hey!, kid do you even have manner or are you stupid!? hyung look at that guy manner should we just leave that idiot behind?I mean it was rude to ignore someone asking you a question when trey trying to be nice !!
She looks on Neo angrily tell him she had a point.
Neo reached out and gently messed up her hair.
Neo: That won't do, Scarlet. The kid is like us and also he might still feel confused like you when you came here first.
His voice was calm and gentle
Neo: You know that.
Scarlet stiffened, then looked down.
Scarlet: you are right hyung I'm sorry, ....but he still rude...
She said and then mumble the last sentence but still hear it.
Neo then extended his hand towards me
I hesitated but still took it.
Neo pulled me up easily.
Clay: Uh… I'm Clay. Clay Moore.
His voice shook
Neo: How old are you, Clay?
He ask the same gentle tone
Clay: "Thirteen. I'm thirteen… why??."
I ask confused (thinking:does age matter?if I'm older does he will hate it or like it no why I'm worried about that at all?)
Neo smiled.
Neo: Then I'm older. Call me hyung from now on."
He said it brightly. Scarlet shook he's head
Neo: You're part of our family now.
He said like he just adopt me without my permission
I frowned.
Clay: What? I already have a dad. I have my own family. Why would I need another family?.
I stopped talking I am confused,anxious,I'm scared the n I see it
All of them were looking at me .
Not angry.
Not mocking.
Pitiful.
Like you'd look at someone who didn't understand yet.
Neo's smile faded.
He gently grabbed my hand.
Neo: I'm sorry, Clay.
His voice softened.
Neo: You're not in your home anymore. We don't even know where this place is.
He swallowed,he looks like he's sad but trying to reassure me
Clay:stop , don't lie....
Im confused
Neo: But I think the ones who did this to us… are those aliens.
My chest tightened.
Clay:I know this is just a prank right? please stop it now where's dad ??!!. Dad!!!stop this I love you but this time I won't forgive you if you don't stop this
Scarlet:ah....(Shook his head)give up scared cat this is your reality now
She said bluntly but you can feel she felt bad about me
(Thinking:Alien? What does he mean? Not home? No. That's not true what she mean give up??.)
My thoughts raced.
(I was just playing a game. I turned it off. This isn't real. It can't be.)
(I don't want this.)
(I don't want aliens.)
(I want to go home.)
