The class begins in the office of the President of the elite Tankio Academy. The atmosphere is calm as Minato Kobayashi speaks with two new arrivals, the Hart sisters, Talia and Flora. The girls radiate confidence and skill, possessing exceptional swordsmanship and remarkable mastery of fire and earth magic, surrounded by a noble aura. The Hart family is one of the most prominent and noble families in the Oriana Empire. Their father, Varun Hart, was the Vice-Commander of the Army, renowned for his immense power in fire and earth magic, and possessed the spirit of the legendary spider, Obsidian Vorax.
President Minato: (with a welcoming smile and intelligent eyes)
"Welcome, daughters of Vice-Commander Varun Hart! It is wonderful to have you join us at Tankio Academy. Your reputation precedes you as some of the brightest talents in the Oriana Empire!"
Flora: (Urban magic user, dignified and calm, her eyes scanning the office)
"Thank you, President. The elite Tankio Academy has a long history among kingdoms and empires, which is why everyone wants to join. We look forward to learning here and fulfilling our family's aspirations."
Talia: (Fire magic user, her eagerness unconcealed, a bright smile on her face)
"I've heard so much about the Takahashi family... What was his name again? Ah, right! It's Kono Takahashi! I admire him greatly and would love to see him train. Is he at this academy?"
President Minato: (Nodding slightly, as if seeing a plan taking shape)

Tao Sutami, a member with earth magic, offered Ivan a glass of juice, saying with a wide smile, "Don't be upset, guys! We were all randomly selected by Captain Yahiko. That's just how 9th Division works!" **Rin Mutsu** from the Mutsu family: (A girl with short red hair, with a friendly smile) "My name is Rin Mutsu. Nice to meet you two newbies. I hope you enjoy yourselves." Naofumi, surprised: "What?" "Mutsu?"
Ivan: "What's wrong?"
Naofumi: "She's from the Mutsu family, one of the strongest families in the kingdom."
Rin: "Don't exaggerate. I'm at Level 'B' like you both, and I use Thorns and Roses magic." (A slight look of sadness)
Naofumi: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it."
Rin: "So you're the new guy. What's your name?"
Ivan: "My name is Ivan."

Another member then said, "I'm Rinta Huisuke. I use Mirage Magic. I'm glad you both join us, Ivan and Naofumi." The new members were introduced to the rest of the squad:

Everyone drank juice to celebrate Ivan and Naofumi's joining. Eventually, everyone fell asleep, except for Ivan. He went to the top of the headquarters building, gazing towards the lights of the Union Kingdom and thinking to himself, "I'm still a long way from being the strongest. I must find the other half of the bird, shouldn't I, Yasura?"
At that moment, the Ninth Division's lieutenant, Tatsuo Kamda, arrived and silently sat beside him.
Tatsuo: (His voice was calm and soothing, radiating serenity) "As the Commander said, you are quite interesting, Ivan. Your composure and strength are intriguing. Are you alright?"
Ivan: (Without turning around, his eyes fixed on the horizon) "And who are you?"
Tatsuo: "I am the Ninth Division's lieutenant, Tatsuo Kamda. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ivan."
Ivan: "I didn't recognize you."
Tatsuo: (Smiling calmly, observing Ivan's expression)
"Don't be nervous. I'm also very pleased that the Commander has you with us. You're a great addition to our squad." (He chuckles softly, but with a hidden meaning)
Ivan:
"Squad? Huh!"
Tatsuo: (Laughing louder, gently tapping Ivan's shoulder)
"That's why the Commander chose you, Ivan! We're all free here, and we don't like restrictions. Everyone here considers us a failed squad, a troublemaker, but that doesn't matter to us as long as we're out of the spotlight. This gives us the freedom to move as we please and carry out our missions in our own way."
Ivan: (A barely perceptible smile)
"If that's the case... then maybe things won't be so bad."

Morning arrived, and Ivan and Naofumi headed towards the Level 'B' Center at the Academy, where their new classes were beginning. As they sat in the last seat, the teacher, Nojiko Ibrai, a woman with a stern aura, entered, saying

"Alright, everyone listen up! We have two new members joining our class today. I hope you will all welcome them!"
The Hart sisters, Talia and Flora, entered, stood beside the teacher, and each introduced herself confidently and calmly.
Talia:
"I'm Talia Hart. It's a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we can learn together and reach the highest levels."
Flora:
"I'm Flora Hart, and I'm looking forward to making new friends here and learning a lot!"
Everyone admired them, exchanging glances and expressing their admiration for their beauty and noble aura, except for Ivan, who showed no apparent interest. He remained calm, observing from a distance.
Naofumi:
"This combination of magic and sword fighting is rare."
Ivan:
"I understand."
The two sisters sat in the front rows, and everyone began asking them about their backgrounds and noble families.

"Who was that boy?" (Nodding towards Ivan, her voice filled with curiosity.)
Lancer, another student, said, "You mean Ivan and Naofumi? They're both so quiet.
It's true that Naofumi used to be quite lonely, but as soon as Ivan arrived, he changed completely, and they became inseparable friends."
Another girl: "I like Ivan's mysterious personality; he's calm and strong. But the worst part is that he joined that useless Ninth Division. What a shame! How could someone like him join that troublesome unit?"

Ivan: His expression unchanged:
"What are you talking about? I don't care at all. If you want to go and talk to them, go ahead. I won't stop you."
Naofumi: (Chuckles softly, slightly embarrassed by Ivan's cold response)
"Excuse me, Ivan. (To himself: No wonder Commander Yahiko chose him... He's got a heart of stone! But he's brilliant.) Why should I go? I don't think they'll like a kid like me. I'm glad to be your friend; you're the best friend I know."
Ivan: (Remembers something important, his eyes shining coldly)
"Right, I almost forgot something important."
Nofumi: (Curiously)
"What is it?"
Ivan:
"We have a mission with the Commander. He spoke with Deputy Commander Tatsuo a little while ago. It seems urgent."
Nofumi's face is surprised and tense, as if he's remembered something unpleasant, and worry creeps across his features:
"I forgot! Damn it! A mission with Commander Yahiko is bound to cause trouble! It can't be an easy mission!"
A New Mission... and an Old Confrontation:
They both arrived at the 9th Division headquarters to find Yahiko waiting for them, his face beaming with strange excitement, his eyes gleaming with madness.
Yahiko: (Loud and full of sinister energy, brandishing his sword)
"Now it's time for some excitement! Are you ready, you bastards? This is your first mission with me! Let's go wreak some havoc!"
The Division Members: (In unison, brimming with excitement, preparing)
"Yes, we're ready, Commander! Let's go!"
Yahiko and his entire division prepared to head towards the western border between the Kingdom of Yunyun and the Kingdom of Kong, after a magical gate appeared between the two kingdoms, signaling an impending conflict.
Ivan: "The Kingdom of Kong?" (He wonders.)
Deputy Tatsuo Kamda replied:
"The Kingdom of Union is located in the center, meaning it occupies a very sensitive strategic position. It borders the Kingdom of Kong, a very powerful kingdom inhabited by the vampire race. The second border is with the Empire of Oriana, the third with the Kingdom of Amedonia, the fourth with the Kingdom of Belgrade, and finally, the Empire of Troy, the strongest empire on the continent of Nerosa." (Nerosa is one of the nine continents in the world of Earthus.)"

She also possesses the spirit of the Ice Lion, Enero, whose power is immense. We see soldiers equipped with the latest magical weapons standing beside her.
