Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Fear of Physical Contact?

Sen Getsusa strolled the quiet courtyard.

Just the tea garden alone covered some forty-five tatami—about seventy square meters—let alone the cluster of rooms behind.

Rounding a wall, she found a real lake.

Emerald water flat as glass, bamboo groves on both shores. If she wished, she could carry out a chair and enjoy a lazy afternoon tea.

In the lake's center stood a small pavilion backed by a huge rock; tatami mats within. In traditional style, it was practically a cottage on the water.

Slide open the door and lake wind would sweep in, carrying the smell of moss and grass.

Turning back, several connected rooms waited.

It seemed White Dragon hadn't designed a second floor, so all the rooms here were single-story buildings.

Sen Getsusa counted them; there were about a dozen bedrooms, not counting various strange living rooms and leisure rooms of unknown purpose.

Unfortunately, due to her own uniqueness, she wouldn't be able to invite friends over for a long time.

A land card... Sen Getsusa walked along, carefully stroking the exquisite carvings on the walls.

When she first deployed the land card, she felt a mist-like power enter her spell void.

As long as she wanted, she could easily draw this Spell Power from there—though the mist didn't look like much, it was indeed a good start.

Sen Getsusa sat in the main house for a while before standing up and leaving, shuffling in her slippers.

The way back was the same as the way in, entering through the mirror and exiting through the mirror.

----The one with a house and land is me, Sen Getsusa, hands on hips and laughing! ----

"By the way, is this the second volume? As expected of Tsukihime! This exquisite and sharp sense of impact, and that ink-wash Oriental style!! Wh-when will it be officially released? Please give me an autograph then!"

"However, aren't some of the plots in there a bit too... erotic? Lady Tsukihime, have you really been infected by a certain blonde twin-tail?"

The Boy who was speaking pushed up his glasses. His black hair hung over his forehead, looking greasy.

"Can you not talk about this at school?"

Eriri looked at him with disdain. She didn't turn her head, only glancing slightly at Aki Tomoya, who was pestering Sen Getsusa.

"Like a hentai, looking all fanatical. Honestly, you're going to cause trouble for Tsukisa."

"What, what hentai! Aren't you one too, Kashiwagi-sensei?"

Aki Tomoya's unhappy rebuttal still carried his fanaticism for the work: "I was the one who recommended Tsukisa's first book, Dragon Ball. Many people liked it even back then! Dammit! Tsukisa, why don't you draw those stories about beautiful girls you told me about?"

"With me promoting it, you'll become an icon of the 2D World!!"

Sen Getsusa looked at the person in front of her who was talking to himself, already lost in an atmosphere of self-fanaticism, and smiled without saying a word.

"So, do you want to take credit for Tsukisa's achievements? Also, I told you, don't talk to me!"

Eriri gave him the back of her head, her golden twin-tails snapping against Aki Tomoya's face: "Are you crazy, calling me that at school!"

Aki Tomoya said helplessly: "If you find it troublesome, then don't hang around people who will cause you trouble. Who's talking to whom, anyway?"

Eriri turned her head away huffily and ignored him.

During the break, others gathered to chat and laugh or go to the bathroom hand-in-hand, while these two were just by their seats, getting angry around her... Sen Getsusa said amusedly: "You two are really awkward. By the way, are you still holding a grudge about what happened in elementary school, Tomiya-kun? You're about to become a man."

Aki Tomoya looked bewildered: "What... what man! I already am one! I don't hold grudges. It's that person who won't talk to me. She's the one who made a mistake and is actually still angry, waiting for someone to apologize to her?"

Eriri puffed out her cheeks and suddenly turned her head: "Mr. Man, I hope you can successfully pass the entrance exams."

After saying that, she pulled Sen Getsusa and walked outside.

"Stop talking to such a 'mature' man. Careful he doesn't suddenly strip naked and pounce on you to bite you."

Aki Tomoya:... Sen Getsusa followed Eriri outside with a giggle. "You clearly care, so why act like this? I think Tomiya-kun cares about you a lot, too."

Eriri immediately retorted, fiercely showing her little white teeth: "I don't care about that guy at all! Acting like I owe him something for all these years, honestly...!!"

Sen Getsusa, helpless, pretended to casually pull her arm out of Eriri's embrace.

Oh. Though Eriri's embrace was empty.

On this side, as soon as Sen Getsusa moved, Eriri unexpectedly hugged her even tighter.

She frowned and asked Sen Getsusa: "Tsukisa, I've wanted to say this for a long time. Do you have some kind of haphephobia?"

Sen Getsusa:?

Eriri pointed at Tsukisa's small arm, which was struggling: "Hmm... as I thought..."

She took out her phone with her other hand, tapped a few times, and searched for keywords to show Sen Getsusa.

"...It is a type of specific phobia, a fear generated toward a specific type of thing. Haphephobia mainly involves a strong rejection of ordinary physical contact, which can easily trigger a fear of public places and communicating with strangers."

"Look... treatment plan—well, it seems you should still see a proper Doctor..." She held up her phone to Tsukisa, her body unconsciously leaning in.

Two girls leaning close and chatting is a very common sight in school, so students and teachers passing through the hallway didn't give them a second look.

Tsukisa blushed as she was forced to read the 'phobia' information on Google.

After being diagnosed with 'delusional disorder,' she was now judged to have 'haphephobia.'

In the hallway, the voices of others chatting naturally reached their ears.

Girl: "Have you heard?"

Boy: "Sigh, I know that news. The young lady, right? Tojo Heavy Industries. You think it's impossible?"

Girl: "How could I? It's just hard to believe. A high schooler, right? Already entering the company. She has a great future."

Boy: "That's right. In short, she's not from the same World as people like us."

Girl: "I heard that before, that young lady's driver died too. Was his name Tamura Tatsuya? Just died like that inside the Rolls-Royce, and they still haven't found the killer."

Boy: "I don't know. In those big conglomerates, there are plenty of shady dealings. Hey, let me see your homework, okay?"

Eriri didn't know about Sen Getsusa and Tojo Aoi, so she didn't pay much attention, only sighing along for a few moments.

"The Tojo Family... that girl really was born at the top. If it were a game, it would be 'Easy Mode,' right?"

Sen Getsusa chimed in with a smile: "It's Easy Mode, and then she also joined some Cheat Engine Cult."
