The Golden Peak was protected by a Sky Rank Array. It was a barrier of solid light that could withstand a nuclear blast.
Mo Tian stood before the golden gate. Two Earth Immortal guards blocked his path.
"Halt! This is the—"
"Chaos Law: Corrosion."
Mo Tian didn't slow down. He waved his hand. A grey mist washed over the guards.
Their golden armor turned to rust. Their skin turned to dust. They crumbled away in seconds.
Mo Tian reached the barrier. He placed his hand on it.

The barrier didn't shatter; it drained. Mo Tian sucked a hole right through the wall of light, drinking the energy like a milkshake.
He stepped through the hole.
Inside, the Treasury was blinding. Mountains of Immortal Stones. Racks of Spirit Artifacts. Vials of Golden Marrow Pills.
"Jackpot," Mo Tian grinned.
But he wasn't alone.
Sitting on a throne of gold coins in the center of the room was a fat man. He wore robes woven from pure spirit essence. He held a giant golden abacus.
Vice-Sect Master Jin (Earth Immortal - Peak).
"You have nimble fingers, thief," Jin said, sliding a bead on his abacus. Click.
Gravity increased.
"But you entered the spider's web."
Jin flicked another bead. Click.
The gold coins on the floor liquefied. They shot up, turning into spikes aimed at Mo Tian.
Mo Tian didn't dodge.
"Dragon Scale."
The spikes harmlessly deflected off his black scales.
"You play with money," Mo Tian walked forward, kicking a pile of gems. "I play with laws."
"Law of Void: Erasure."
Mo Tian punched the air.
A shockwave of distortion flew at Jin.
Jin panicked. He held up his abacus. "Golden Shield!"
The Void punch hit the abacus.
CRACK.
The Spirit Artifact shattered. The shockwave continued, hitting Jin in the stomach.
"OOF!" Jin flew backward, crashing into a pile of spirit stones.
Mo Tian jumped on top of him. He grabbed Jin's fat face.
"Where is the Sect Master?"
"He... he is in seclusion! Breaking through to Sky Immortal!" Jin wheezed. "If you disturb him, he will kill us both!"
"Breaking through?" Mo Tian's eyes lit up.
A cultivator in seclusion was vulnerable. And a cultivator mid-breakthrough was a walking pill of concentrated energy.
"Thank you for the tip," Mo Tian snapped Jin's neck.

The System vacuumed the room. Millions of stones, artifacts, and pills vanished into Mo Tian's pocket.
