Chapter 7 - Daily Life Of The Cursed Child At School

A month had passed since the first exam and the elections. Hiko Shinoegami had begun to settle into the rhythm of life at Tengen High. He sat by the window, looking over the school grounds, a soft breeze ruffling his hair. The chaos and excitement of the first few weeks had become routine, and he reflected on it all in his mind.

Hiko: "I guess I'm finally used to this. School, magic, classmates… everything."

He opened his notebook and began organizing his thoughts. Each subject had its own place in his mind now, and he could recall each teacher and lesson vividly.

**Math and Science:** Professor Akemi Sato led these classes. She was precise, patient, and made complicated equations and magical principles understandable. Numbers and formulas intertwined seamlessly with magic theory.

**History:** Taught by Professor Lawrence, an elderly man with a stern face but a sharp wit. He brought stories of magical battles, legendary sorcerers, and ancient civilizations to life.

**Physical Education:** Overseen by Coach Hayato, the PE area was vast, including a track, sports fields, and an obstacle course designed to enhance both stamina and magical dexterity. Hiko often practiced here to strengthen his reflexes and movement.

**Magic Theory:** Rougen Ray personally demonstrated the limits and applications of magic, from Cursed Flame and Dimension spells to hybrid magic forms. Each session was intense but rewarding.

**Potions and Laboratory Work:** Professors Marin and Kael guided students through the intricacies of alchemy and chemical spells, blending magical and mundane ingredients for maximum effect.

**Digital Area:** A modern facility where students learned the combination of magic and technology, coding magical systems, simulations, and digital summoning. Hiko had begun experimenting with small portals and enchantments linked to digital interfaces.

Hiko's thoughts drifted to the school itself. He mentally mapped every corner of Tengen High.

**First Floor:** The main hall, entrance, reception, and general classrooms. Bustling with students during breaks.

**Second Floor:** Science labs, magic theory classrooms, and the library. A quiet haven for studying.

**Third Floor:** Potions laboratories, digital area, and study rooms. Students could reserve spots to practice magic or complete assignments.

**Fourth Floor:** Special seminar rooms and staff offices. Often quiet, a place for research or private lessons.

**Library:** Vast and filled with magical tomes, historical records, spell manuals, and interactive holographic archives.

**Study Rooms:** Private rooms where groups could collaborate or individuals could focus. Hiko often came here with Goru and Kiyomi.

**PE Area and Track:** For physical training and magical-enhanced sports. Some students practiced dueling techniques alongside traditional exercises.

**Sports Area:** Includes magical obstacle courses, archery ranges, and arenas for dueling tournaments.

**Forest Area:** A magical forest used for survival training, beast study, and outdoor spell practice. The area was monitored for dangerous creatures.

Hiko glanced around his classroom and noticed the three troublemakers of his grade: Toma Grell, Sora Ishida, and Leo Kramer. They weren't malicious, just irritating, always teasing classmates, flicking papers, or making loud jokes.

Toma: "Hey, Hiko! Bet you can't balance a book on your head while doing a spell!"

Hiko ignored him, smiling faintly. Sora and Leo snickered in the background, trying to provoke reactions.

Hiko thought about his classmates, his new friends, and his allies. Goru was perfecting his Dimension magic, Kiyomi continued to support the team with Portal Magic, and Aren Valis, the class president, led with authority.

During a tour of the school by the students, every teacher demonstrated their specialties. Professor Sato showed a magical equation that altered the path of a small fireball, while Professor Lawrence recounted a legendary duel where knowledge of magical history changed the outcome. Coach Hayato had the class run drills combined with magic, enhancing speed and coordination. Professors Marin and Kael demonstrated potion reactions, creating spectacular colors and effects. In the digital area, holographic monsters were summoned, and students practiced control without risk.

Hiko walked with Goru and Kiyomi, stopping at each area to observe, occasionally commenting.

Hiko: "The library is huge… and so many tomes! I could spend days here."

Kiyomi: "It's perfect for studying. We should come together sometimes."

Goru: "And the forest area is intense. I want to test teleportation there soon."

Hiko smiled, thinking of all the places he could practice, explore, and grow stronger. Every area had a purpose, from classrooms to the sports grounds, from the labs to the hidden corners of the forest.

By the end of the day, Hiko sat under a tree near the track, opening his phone again. He checked his Magic Points and texts. He had earned more points from participating in class exercises and practical sessions.

He messaged his parents again.

Hiko: "Mom, Dad, I'm really used to the school now. Classes, teachers, friends… everything is going smoothly."

Mom: "That's wonderful, Hiko! So glad you're happy there! ❤️"

Dad: "Keep learning and growing! We love you! 💖"

Hiko leaned back, looking at the sky. The sun was beginning to set, casting warm colors across the school grounds. He felt confident, content, and ready for the next challenge. Tengen High was vast, full of magic, knowledge, and opportunity. And Hiko intended to explore every corner of it, mastering his Cursed Flame and building bonds that would last a lifetime.
