I wanted to share a small behind-the-scenes thought process with you all.
Earlier, I had planned to include a successful arranged marriage for Sasuke. However, as I continued writing, it began to feel… off. While it somewhat aligned with Itachi's canon personality—someone who often made decisions for Sasuke without consulting him—I realized that it didn't sit right with the direction I truly wanted for the story.
At some point, it felt less like natural storytelling and more like forcing a plot device, driven by curiosity about how Sasuke's life might change if he were paired with Shion. But looking at it more critically, it started to resemble treating the characters like pieces on a board rather than individuals with their own thought.
So, I decided to step back and reconsider that path.
