The first internal checks from the Human Continuance Matrix finished before the Arcturus convoy arrived.
Eirenne reviewed the results twice before allowing anyone near the lower level. Most of the power lines were stable, the air systems were clean, and the medical network had not detected any active contamination.
Several parts of the matrix were still offline, but nothing in the first report suggested an immediate threat.
That was enough to begin an inspection.
Aurelian returned to the Steward Chamber with Astra and Rhoswen. Vaela was already waiting with two medical specialists from Sanctuary Ardent, Doctor Selis Marr and Doctor Oren Tal.
Both looked tired, though neither complained when Eirenne repeated the safety rules.
"No patient enters the lower level," Aurelian said. "Nobody touches a medical unit until Eirenne and the doctors agree it is safe. If anything changes, we leave immediately."
Rhoswen looked toward the hidden map above the central platform.
