Chapter 31 - Chapter 66 – Yuna, Hazel, and the Gathering Storm

Meanwhile, Yuna tilted her head with a serious expression. She understood that anything requiring the attention of the Five Goddesses would certainly cause a major impact in the God Realm.

From her experience, such events were always tied to someone with unmatched talent or someone who had created an artifact or technique powerful enough to alter the very history of the realm.

Seeing the warning message before her eyes, she knew she had to take it seriously and follow the command without delay.

"I'll go for a while. Please take me to the gathering hall."

NOTICE:

Teleportation sequence confirmed. Ancient Being, payment of 2 Absolute Credits is required to proceed.

"Two Absolute Credits?" Yuna said calmly, her tone steady. "That's quite expensive. I only have forty-three. Is it really that difficult to reach?"

She hadn't expected such a high cost. She originally thought it would not even require one Absolute Credit, or that artifacts would be enough for the payment. Instead, the system demanded two full credits.

It was a large amount—enough to buy three divine artifacts and rare resources beyond imagination. The request made her pause.

She suddenly remembered how painful the process had been to earn her current credits. Absolute Credit was the highest form of currency across all realms and timelines—whether past, present, or future. It had existed through all ages.

The system that governed it was so complex and absolute that anyone who tried to manipulate it had vanished, erased by the rules connected to the Primordial Void Because of this, even gods were forced to follow its laws.

Now, Absolute Credit had become the most respected and powerful currency. It could buy anything. You could purchase Heaven Domains, establish worlds beyond reality, buy entire universes, teleport across existence, and acquire techniques, artifacts, or resources of any level.

One credit alone was enough to trigger wars. It was that valuable.

However, earning it was no easy task. There were many things one had to do to obtain it, such as exchanging artifacts of equal value or trading anything else of comparable worth. For beginners like Yuna, missions were available that rewarded Absolute Credit.

She had once browsed through countless listings, carefully selecting the ones she could manage. It had taken her one hundred millennia just to collect three hundred.

Spending even two now struck her heart with a heavy blow, and the calm on her face wavered. She was reluctant.

NOTICE:

Teleportation Difficulty: EXTREME.

Target location is not a standard hall but a sealed dimension crafted by the Five Goddesses.

This realm exists between illusion and reality, severed from the current timeline.

Risk level: Absolute. Temporal dislocation and existential instability detected.

► Proceed with teleportation

► Refuse and cancel the request

Yuna nodded. She now understood the level of danger involved. She could not imagine what had happened to make the Five Goddesses go so far as to create a place outside of existence just to evaluate something.

"It truly is difficult. I can't even imagine the level of threat or importance behind this," she said quietly. "Very well, let's proceed."

She pressed the confirmation. In an instant, a strange force wrapped around her body. Time could no longer touch her. Her form flickered in and out, shifting like an illusion caught between dimensions. Then, without warning, her entire being vanished.

A powerful energy pulled her away, dissolving her completely into the sealed realm created by the Five Goddesses.

Seconds passed before Yuna safely arrived, materializing within a foggy expanse under a pale white sky that resembled the afternoon sun.The difference was that this realm existed high in the sky itself, surrounded by thousands of ancient gods like her.

A moment later, her full, curvaceous figure appeared completely within the crowd, drawing attention the instant she emerged. Despite being an ancient god, the bounce of her chest and the curve of her hips caught the eyes of many.

Countless male god's stared, some in awe, others with undisguised excitement, sparking murmurs and quiet chatter among the gathered thousands.

Yuna frowned, discomfort flickering across her calm expression. She stared back at them with silent disapproval.

"I almost forgot," she muttered quietly. "Even though I was just an ordinary lesser god in my youth, there were always gods who looked at me like that because of how I appeared. I should have changed my form before coming."

But it was too late now.

She had already revealed herself, and changing her appearance would only draw more attention.

All she could do was endure it.

After all, many had yet to arrive. She could only wait until others showed up, hoping their presence would draw some of the stares and attention away from her. Quietly, she sat cross-legged in the fog-thickened air, letting the divine mist cool her thoughts. But before she could even close her eyes, a voice cut through the stillness.

A tall, broad-shouldered man with striking red hair and ornate divine robes approached. His appearance was sharp and confident, and his voice carried with smooth politeness.

"Oh my, what a beautiful goddess," he said. "Pardon me, young lady. As one of equal status, may I know your name? I am Noah Blaze."

He spoke just loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. Divine senses shifted through the fog, brushing against her skin like cold air. Dozens of ancient gods turned their attention toward her, some amused, others curious.

Yuna's frown deepened. She could feel the pressure building. Regret welled in her for not altering her appearance before coming here. Now this shameless god was trying to flirt with her in front of everyone, using the setting to force a response while pretending to be polite.

Unfortunately for him, she already had a husband and zero tolerance for fools. Her face remained calm, but her words were razor-sharp.

"Get lost. I already have a husband. Stop hitting on a married woman. Go cause trouble somewhere else, limp dick."

Her voice was like a blade through silence. Several gods nearby snorted with laughter.

"Keke, serves him right," muttered a red-robed god, his grin visible even through the mist. Others chuckled as well, whispering among themselves.

Noah stood frozen. His pride trembled beneath the weight of humiliation.

"I... I apologize, my lady. I take back my words. Please enjoy your time," he said stiffly. He dared not cause a scene where even the Five Supreme Goddesses were expected. Containing his shame, he vanished across a great distance, fleeing the echoing snickers that chased him.

Yuna let out a quiet breath. She was not satisfied, only relieved. The pressure had lifted, but the attention still lingered.

"There are so many unfamiliar faces," she murmured to herself, eyes calmly scanning the misty surroundings. "Old monsters and new names. The God Realm really is reaching its peak."

She eased her thoughts, then extended her divine sense toward the crowd. A few familiar figures stood out. Some of them had long surpassed the limits of ordinary ancient gods, yet they continued to wear that title, choosing to remain low-key and free.

Their strength and reputations were overwhelming, and even without showing off, their presence demanded respect. Others instinctively kept their distance. No one wanted to provoke those who could not be offended.

Shaking her head, Yuna scanned the surroundings, sensing the presence of hundreds of thousands of ancient gods. Many were already clashing over favorable positions, creating a ruckus not unlike what she had experienced earlier.

But she paid it no mind. These scuffles were common in the world of ancient gods. If you wanted something, and someone else did too, you had to defeat them for it. There were no moral codes to uphold—just power, effort, and the right to take.

"It's barbaric… but effective," she murmured, then sighed. "Forget it. I'll just wait for the Five Goddesses to appear and leave after. No point staying if there's no benefit."

She was about to withdraw her divine sense when something made her pause. A familiar aura brushed against her awareness. Her eyes narrowed, and without hesitation, she extended her divine sense to its limit, following the thread of recognition.

At the far edge of the gathering, a woman had just materialized. Her flowing pink hair danced with the mist, and her smoldering crimson eyes radiated intensity. Her figure was lean and sensual, effortlessly drawing the attention of those below like a gravitational force cloaked in allure.

Yuna's bored expression brightened slightly.

In an instant, she vanished. With a single step of Void Movement, she crossed the sky and appeared before the woman in a closeness that spoke of deep familiarity.

"Sister Hazel, welcome. Are you well?" Yuna asked softly, her voice filled with warmth as she gazed at the woman before her.

Hazel blinked in surprise before her expression brightened completely.

"Wow… Yuna, you're here too?" she gasped, rushing toward her.

Grabbing both of Yuna's hands tightly, Hazel smiled with affection brimming in her voice. "Ah, it's been millennia. I haven't seen you through all these passing eras. Just where have you been?"

She looked Yuna up and down, then paused as if something just hit her. "And you've grown up so much. You actually became an Ancient God. I'm so proud of you."

As she spoke, Hazel shook Yuna's hands excitedly. The motion made her full chest sway, unintentionally drawing countless gazes from the gods nearby. Some stared so intently they shattered their wine glasses in shock.

They were male gods, beings not devoid of emotion or desire. Wanting a beautiful woman was common, even expected. But with status equal among them, no one dared make a move.

Offending someone of equal power was dangerous, especially when you could not be certain if they were stronger. In a gathering like this, filled with wary and ambitious gods, restraint was the only rule anyone followed.

Hazel noticed the stares, but ignored them completely. In her eyes, none of them were worth her attention. She focused solely on Yuna, the long-lost friend who once followed her across battlefields and forbidden lands.

"Hehe, I never expected to reunite with my old partner," Hazel said with a lighthearted laugh. "The one who followed me everywhere, even when we were robbing ruins and fleeing like crazy. I missed those days. Back then, the environment was so brutal. If you wanted a future, you had to steal it. Robbers were the winners."

Her laugh was full of enthusiasm and nostalgia.

Yuna listened quietly, slightly embarrassed by the memories, but undeniably warmed. It had been so long since she felt this kind of comfort. She looked at Hazel, eyes soft with fondness. In those old, desperate days, they had nothing but each other. They were poor, reckless, and determined. And now, they stood as equals among gods.

Yuna smiled and gripped Hazel's hands tightly, her heart full of gratitude for everything they had endured together.

They continued talking and laughing, their voices quiet in the misty atmosphere.

Then, without a word, they both stopped.

Their eyes turned upward, drawn to the red clouds gathering above.

Clang... Clang... Clang...

The sound echoed through the skies like the tolling of fate. Deep. Cold. Eternal.

It was no ordinary bell.

It was the one that should never ring.

The sound swept across Misty Mountain like a tidal wave, rolling through the divine realm. All voices faded. No wind stirred. No one moved.

The gods froze.

The spirits trembled.

Even the world itself held its breath.

This bell was not a warning.

It was a sign.

And in that overwhelming silence, a single truth became unmistakably clear.

The Five Goddesses had arrived.

What happened next would change everything.
