Chapter 3 - Chapter 38 - A Mysterious Ranking and a Missing Cake

Ella stared at Yula with a mix of respect and amazement. She hadn't expected to meet someone who worked harder than herself.

System, what realm is Chronosurge? Ella asked in her thoughts.

She had previously unlocked a system feature that allowed her to probe up to three realms higher than her own. Since she was curious, she decided to ask.

A moment later, the system rang.

DING![The twin hosts can currently probe the following realms:]Primal Nexus Realm – Dao of IntegrationInfernos Realm – Dao of FireHorizon Realm – Dao of SpaceTenebris Realm – Dao of Sovereign ShadowSolara Realm – Dao of Sovereign LightChronosurge Realm – Dao of Temporal Dominion

Ella frowned.

"So Mother is four realms higher than me… Damn. Just how difficult is it to cultivate? Even Mother took hundreds of thousands of years just to reach the sixth realm!"

Confused by how hard it was to advance, she asked the system, "System, why is it so difficult to elevate one's realm? I don't understand."

DING![Due to the system's current level, it is unable to deduce the casualties caused by the phenomenon within the realm's restrictions, as a higher unknown power is actively rejecting its analysis.]

Ella raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean? Could it be that some higher power is preventing people from advancing?"

The more she thought about it, the more it made sense. She suddenly felt disdain for whoever was responsible.

"Ugh. I was right. Some ancient entities really are afraid of being surpassed. If the ones behind this are truly that powerful, they could probably destroy this entire God Realm at will."

Ella sighed. Right now, she had no right to be angry—she lacked the strength to resist such beings. Her only option was to diligently grow stronger with Olivia while keeping their power hidden.

"Haaah. No use thinking about it now. What I really need to focus on is how to avoid being detected while breaking through."

She was deep in thought when Yula suddenly called out.

"Ella, you should go home first. I'll take your father to heal his wounds. Don't worry, Mother will visit you tomorrow."

With that, Yula extended her hand, lifting Jade with an unknown force. Then, in an instant, they disappeared without a sound—the space didn't even crack.

Ella stared in amazement.

"How powerful. Mother must have a place where we can break through without being noticed. I'll ask her about it tomorrow."

With that, Ella also left.

The moment she returned, Scillia greeted her, immediately inquiring about how she had done it.

Ella simply shrugged. "I don't know. I just created the technique myself."

Scillia staggered in disbelief.

"What?! Is that true?" Her heart pounded.

For a moment, she wondered if Ella was the reincarnation of a mighty figure.

"There's no way someone can create a technique without experiencing enlightenment. Could she be the reincarnation of an Ancient God?"

But then she remembered Olivia—who was equally talented.

She dismissed the thought and simply accepted Ella's words.

"Amazing, Young Miss. You're the first person to ever do that. I'm sure no one could create a technique without reaching a certain realm… but you were born with it."

Scillia's praise was genuine.

Ella, however, wasn't flustered. After all, she was lying.

"Who else could have done it? I can't comprehend techniques that aren't related to destruction. But with the system, you could say I was telling the truth."

She comforted herself with that thought.

Hours later, Ella was back at the palace, pondering what to do next.

Scillia sat nearby, staring at her without blinking. Ella ignored her and took out the Primordial Ascension Plaque—the one she had received from Scillia's father.

"Scillia, Mother said that registration had already expired, right? How are we supposed to register now?"

Scillia smiled. "Don't worry, Young Miss. Just pour your blood on it, and you'll automatically be ranked in the Primordial Youth Rankings."

She gave Ella a thumbs-up.

Hearing that, Ella nodded.

She immediately went to wake Olivia so they could receive the rewards together.

"Vivi, wake up! There's cake! If you don't wake up, I'll eat everything!"

Ella's threat made Olivia's ears twitch. She instantly opened her eyes.

"Huh? Where's the cake? Eri, I want some—don't eat it all!"

Still groggy, Olivia checked the table. But there was no cake.

She immediately glared at Ella, realizing she had been tricked.

"Eri is a big fat idiot!" Olivia huffed, hoping to provoke her into an argument.

But Ella didn't react—she only smiled warmly.

"I'm sorry, Vivi. Can you forgive me? You're so hard to wake up, so I had no choice. But I won't lie—I already ordered Scillia to replicate a cake, so you don't have to worry."

Ella gestured for Scillia to prepare one. She had already asked the system to replicate cake recipes from their previous life on Earth.

Scillia nodded and left immediately.

Hearing this, Olivia's eyes sparkled.

"Really?" She started drooling, already imagining the cake's taste.

"Yeah, I wouldn't lie to you," Ella assured her. "But right now, I woke you up for something urgent."

Olivia, still half-asleep, nodded. "Okay, what is it?"

Ella began explaining the Primordial Ascension Plaque, which would grant them generous rewards.

Olivia's expression turned serious. "Okay. I'll pour my blood now."

She pulled out a needle artifact from their storage ring—one of the low-level artifacts they had plundered from a secret realm.

"Give me your hand and close your eyes," Ella instructed.

She didn't want Olivia to see her own blood and get terrified.

Olivia stared blankly but nodded.

The twins each extracted a drop of blood, but instead of pouring it directly onto the plaque, they lifted it into the air using their power.

Mastering all elements had already become second nature to them, so it was effortless.

"Eri, look! The wound healed instantly—it didn't even leave a scratch!" Olivia gasped in astonishment.

Even though her expression remained dull, she was still amazed.

Ella, however, wasn't surprised. Their physiques were absurd, so natural healing like this was expected.

"Don't worry about it. Let's pour our blood now," Ella urged.

Olivia nodded.

They placed the platinum plaque down and poured their blood onto it in unison.

Immediately, the plaque trembled and a digital screen materialized in front of them.

[You have awakened the Primordial Ascension Plaque and been acknowledged by the will of an exalted being. Your rank has been successfully registered, and your realm is now being calculated. You can observe your ranking in real time and receive rewards accordingly.]

Ella and Olivia stared in awe at the screen—it was so clear it even surpassed the best televisions on Earth.

"Wow! It looks like a TV!" Olivia exclaimed.

Ella nodded. But before they could react further, the plaque responded again.

[To enter the ranking, participants are subject to restrictions preventing them from recognizing each other. Please write your desired alias to avoid being deduced.]

Ella frowned.

"Thank goodness. If we wrote our real names, someone would definitely try to deduce our fate."

She turned to Olivia. "Vivi, we need alias names to avoid future trouble."

Olivia nodded, and they quickly wrote their chosen aliases.

A moment later, their names appeared on the Primordial Youth Rankings.

Current Ranking:8: Venerable God Spear – Talent: Extremely High9: Queen – Talent: ???10: Lovejoy – Talent: ???11: Emperor Von – Talent: Extremely High

Their sudden appearance in the top ten sent shockwaves through the ranking boards, leaving countless individuals wondering—

"Who are Queen and Lovejoy?!"
