The next day, classes began. According to the path they chose, the classes have their own courtyard to enhance privacy and order. The courtyard they were in was known as dark scales courtyard.
The six students walked together chatting excitedly about everything and nothing. They arrived at their class.
Everyone took their seats
"So, what will our teacher look like?" Trevor asked excitedly
"No idea!" Talia answered excitedly.
Tempest was busy looking at the classroom. There were many layers of barriers and a dense spiritual Qi. She found it puzzling. Kaiden noticed it too
"Why are you two so excited about the teacher? Shouldn't you be excited about what you will learn?" Tally told them.
Tempest's gaze stopped at the skeleton standing next to the board
"It appears that the teacher was already here" Tempest commented while looking at the skeleton
"Where?" Talia looked around quizzically.
"Ah seems like we have a keen student with us." A hoarse voice rang out.
Everyone's head snapped to the skeleton. The skeleton suddenly walked towards Tempest.
"Aaaaah a monster!"Talia screamed in horror.
The skeleton patted Tempest on the head..
"Such a good student. Welcome students! I have to admit, this is the first time our class had alot of students! Your seniors and grandmasters are so happy have you here. I will be your teacher this year. You may call me Master Crimson"
"Thank you for accepting us as students, Master Crimson" Kaiden said respectfully and bowed
The rest also followed suit.
"Hehehe you students are so respectful... that's good, that's good" Master Crimson said
"Does anyone have a question to ask before we begin our first class?" Master Crimson asked
Tempest raised her hand. Master Crimson allowed her to asked her question.
"You are a skeleton. Is that your race or something happened to you?" She asked.
Master Crimson nodded approvingly. He liked keen students and those who asked good questions.
"That's a good question but I would like to ask you a question. The Galaxy races are divided into how many groups" Master Crimson spoke
"Three!" Trevor answered
"That's correct. Name for me these groups"
"Common race, rare race and otherworldly race!" Talia answered eagerly
"Good! Good! Your teacher here is among the otherworldly race. Have answered your question student tempest?"
"Yes teacher"
"Now let's get back to the lesson shall we.. your first year with me, I'll be teaching you on a very interesting but hardly to cope topic"
Everyone had their ears keen.
"You will all be learning about perfection. You may know many skills and cultivation ways but you haven't perfected all of the. But before we start the theory lesson..." He paused, clapped twice and everything disappeared around them.
They found themselves at a battle arena. Each of them was in a different battle arena.
"We are going to test how much you are close to your perfect self" Master Crimson finished
Tempest narrowed her eyes. She had a feeling this was going to be a very tough battle.
"You are all going to fight the perfect version of yourself" Master Crimson said.
Most of them became spooked
"Teacher...can I....not take this test?" Trevor asked
"Do you want to face me instead?" Master Crimson asked back instead.
Who in the world would want to face an otherworldly race? That's just courting death. Otherworldly races are called otherworldly for a reason. First, they have unimaginable amount of power, riches and strength. Their race live for more than a thousand years without getting old. There are completely oblivious to the world and we'll hidden. Wanting to meet them is like wanting to meet the king.
Trevor shook his head frantically. He would rather be tortured by the perfect version of himself rather than fight his teacher, who is an otherworldly race.
Master Crimson clapped twice and spirit figures appeared Infront of the three students. They looked completely the same. The only difference was that the perfect version was devoid of any emotion.
Begin!
Once the order was out, the perfect versions began their attack. Every skilled used was repelled by a counter skill. Every movement used, was repelled by an even better move. Trevor, tally and tally were already down in two moves
