Succumbed
Hours of travelling, Mukura and Tatenda finally reach the neighbourhood where Mukura resides at. And she inhales deeply the air she had missed a lot and exhales in relief getting home safe after a very long time.
"Alright kid! This is where I live!" she shouts spreading her arms.
"It is a nice place!"
"Not really, it is not fancy but it is home so it is always welcoming!"
They go back to being silent and Mukura's spirit has changed. She feels lighter than she was before and Tatenda looks at her smiling.
"You are now in a good mood!"
She looks at him smiling, "Who are you looking at like that?"
"Apparently, this little creature called Mukura that has had a change in mood."
"Yes, I do and I am not a little creature or a creature!"
"If you say so!" he expresses in a doubtful way.
"What do you mean by if you say so?"
"If you say so. Just as it is!"
"Okay, young man! We are now only a few steps away from where I live!" she sounds very excited, "I cannot wait to introduce you to everyone!"
She runs ahead and he follows behind her running trying to keep up with her.
Growling looking at Takada, "It seems like your daughter is here or should I say the princess of the enchanted forest is here!" she looks up analysing her phrase, "Well, I think that is perfect! The princess of the white witches!"
The door gets opens and she quickly rushes behind Takada and holds her by the neck.
Mukura is gets in slowly calling everyone but no one is answering. And it seems as it is abandoned and she directs Tatenda to the living room and goes to search in the rooms and finds no one and head for the living room to join Tatenda.
Her eyes bump into a terrified Tatenda who is breathing heavily looking at the side where Gwanhoya possessed Monalisa. She gets in quickly to see and there she is, Gwanhoya holding Takada from behind with her fingers on a tearful Takada's neck.
"Welcome back, Mukura! We have been waiting for your arrival for a very long-time." Says so jocundly and cackles, "Your mother here is relieved to see you! Or is she though?" she expresses her doubts trying to instil doubt in Mukura's heart.
"Mukura, you need to leave right now!" Takada instructs her, dripping with sweat because of fear, "Do not worry about me. I will be alright."
"I am not leaving, mom!" she refuses and attempts to move her hand.
Gwanhoya perceives the action and puts her index finger in the air, "Ah, ah, you really do not want to do that right now!" she presses her nails a little bit into Takada's neck, "Do that and mommy dies!"
"Release my mother and sister demon!" Mukura demands.
Tatenda grabs hold of her, "Mukura, what is that thing over there?"
She turns and locks eyes on Wrath holding Natasha and Taylor who seem to be sleeping, "You witch!" she tries to attack and Gwanhoya waves her hand and she bumps into an invisible barricade head first.
Watching Mukura rise from the ground with her hand in her head she smiles, "This is nice! And I believe before I kill you, you have something you would like to say to your daughter here. Don't you, Takada?"
Takada sobs looking at Mukura unable to bring out the words from her mouth. If she does Mukura will hate her for life and the thought is eating her up with tears continuing to flow down her cheeks.
"I am sorry I treated you so badly for something that you did not do. I might not have been the one who gave birth to you but I am your mother and I am ashamed of my treatment of you, please forgive me!" she apologises crying.
"You do not have to apologise for anything mom!" she replies to her apology tears flowing down her cheeks, "You are my mother and you raised me!"
Gwanhoya frowns her face, "Disappointing!" she blows air from her mouth, "I was hoping for an anger outburst! But there is always plan B, right?" she rips out Takada's trachea and lingers at it with her tongue out.
She squats down and starts lingering around her body with the trachea in her hand. Mukura is in shock after witnessing her mother having her throat ripped out like nothing in front of her.
"What a messy beautiful art!" Gwanhoya says looking at Takada's body, "What do you think Mukura? Is it a little bit too much?"
Mukura slowly takes step by step with the shock still gripping her. She still cannot believe her mother is dead and when they are about to rebuild their torn apart relationship.
"Now you are acting like a zombie! Oh well, one mother gone, one left!"
"You, you, you killed my mother!" she stammers.
Gwanhoya looks at her beast, "Wrath! We need to leave now." They slowly vanish from the house.
"Mom!" she sobs holding her in her arms.
She screams breaking the windows in the whole house and the others in the surrounding area and leaves to follow them without talking to Tatenda. Her blood boiling with rage and her eyes turns pitch black with her face steamed up with a dark aura emanating from her body.
Genteel arrives at the house and finds glass all over and the neighbouring houses' windows also had their windows shattered and the people outside saw her fly and land in front of the house. She continues into the house circumspect so she won't be surprised by anything that will be lurking inside. It feels like a dark power just recently left the house. She gets to the living room and finds Tatenda grinding his teeth in terror with Natasha and Taylor lying on the floor.
"What happened here?" she is confused as to why Tatenda is in so much terror.
Tatenda points at Takada's dead body slowly shivering.
She follows the finger trail asking, "What are you looking at?" she slowly asks him and her eyes cannot fathom the sight of Takada's body dead with her throat ripped out.
She swallows her saliva, "What happened to Mukura?"
He does not reply and continues to tremble. She holds him by the head and he is still stagnant looking at Takada's dead body.
"What is your name child?" she asks him.
Stammering with his teeth knocking each other he replies, "Ta_te_nda!"
"Alright Tatenda, I need you to listen to me now!" she drags his head so he can look at her, "I need you to look after those two over there, alright?"
"Okay!" he replies softly.
She sets her stuff down and puts the hand forward and a little bell appears, "If anything happens, ring this little bell and I will come to you instantly!"
She gets up and sets Takada's body and runs around the house looking for a blanket and returns with it and covers her body.
She gets out of the house and leaves to look for Mukura.
At Domboguru
Gurudza is still wallowing in despair kneeling down and looking at the pile of bodies of the people burnt by Gwanhoya. The pain is engraved deep inside him and Garamba stands there holding his arm waiting for him to get back to his senses.
"We need to move son! It is not safe here, please!"
"She did it mother! She said she would wait until we have finished mourning father and she waited and she killed them all and I was not here to protect them mother!" he contemplates on everything.
"I am going to find her mother and I am going to tear her into pieces!" he rises from the ground and his eyes turn pitch black and the lightning around them is dark.
Garamba backs away from him slowly and lightning strikes and vanishes.
At Gwanhoya's Cave
Mukura arrives at Gwanhoya's cave and rushes inside instantly to look for her.
"Where are you witch!?" she calls for her getting deeper into the darkness but no one is answering, "Come out here so I can wreck you out of my sister's body!"
She gets to the deeper and darker part of the cave and finds the instruments she is using and burns them. She gets out of the cave and destroys it and continues her search for Gwanhoya.
