Lost World Online's lore had been relatively shallow and straight to the point, and for what it was worth, it was perfectly fine—demons were the bad guys and most of the main quests revolved around things tied to them. There had been no such deep mention of ancient catastrophes, reality-rifts, or sacrificial heroes maintaining seals.
There were a few things that would have suggested a way more deeper plot, but it was all in bits and pieces, but even then, no such history was elucidated.
Thinking about it for a moment more, Yamamoto started to think about what he just read, and all of a sudden, it felt as though the scholar Veridian was actually unto something—if the barrier was weakening—then the current demon activity wasn't just random aggression.
It wasn't the problem, but a symptom.
