"So, about your travels." Yamamoto said.
"To the north I suppose? Well, it's more structured and less chaotic over there. People defer to authority more readily. The cities are more orderly for sure, but also more rigid to be honest, don't quite like that part about it." Marcus said with a slightly irritated expression at the end. "Why the interest?" He asked.
"Just curious." Yamamoto said. "You mentioned demons attacking up north, and I realized I don't know much about that region."
"Well no need to worry about it, if you survive long enough and get strong enough, you'll probably see it eventually. High-level adventurers often take northern contracts—the pay is better because the work is often more dangerous."
Marcus finished his meal and stood. "Speaking of which, I need to debrief with Tormund properly. But good talk, kid. Keep training, keep improving, and watch yourself in that demon campaign when it comes. It's going to be brutal."
