Chen looked around the unfamiliar street with slight confusion. Tall buildings lined both sides of the road, and people passed by without paying them any attention.
He adjusted Yun Hu in his arms and sighed.
"So... where should we go now?" he asked softly. "I don't even know this place. We've come pretty far from home."
Yun Hu looked up at him and let out a determined little meow before repeatedly turning his head toward a nearby storefront.
"Mew."
His bright eyes never left the shop.
Chen frowned, following the direction of the cat's gaze. "You want to go there?"
"Mew!"
The fluffy cat pawed lightly at the air, urging him forward.
Only then did Chen notice the sign hanging above the entrance.
It was a pet shop.
Realization dawned on him, and he flicked Yun Hu gently on the forehead.
"Oh, you greedy fellow!" Chen laughed. "You only wanted to come here for treats. I thought you were trying to tell me this was your hometown."
Yun Hu blinked innocently.
