Dorian's POV
"And how does a... blog know this?" Quentin questioned, frowning deeply.
The lieutenant's face flushed crimson. I watched him fidget before he stammered, "I... don't know."
"Well, I know," Quentin said, moving closer. "Either one of your officers leaked that information or the killer did."
My eyes went wide. "That's wild."
The thought that the blogger might be connected to the killer made my gut clench. I prayed it was just a cop who'd talked.
The lieutenant got to his feet, perspiration beading his forehead. "That's... how-"
"You explain," Quentin demanded, his tone cutting.
The lieutenant's mouth worked soundlessly before he managed, "My men couldn't have... I trust them."
That was enough for me. I quickly typed back to Sophia.
'Send all information. The police are now involved.'
Sophia's response came instantly.
"We have his name and number," I said, passing my phone to the lieutenant.
He grabbed it and gave a sharp nod. "We'll get right on with it."
