Luo Hong's Bedroom.
"I-I was wrong... B-brother-in-law..."
Seductive murmurs escaped Danzhu's lips, her expression blissfully shattered. The faint pink hearts in her eyes had receded, returning to their beautiful vermilion hue.
[Danzhu: Level 30 → 33 New!]
Using the excuse of "important business," Luo Hong had led Danzhu away from the table and into the bedroom. To be fair, he hadn't originally intended to discipline her; he just wanted to tease her a bit, as he was genuinely curious about the situation outside. However, he hadn't expected that a simple tease would cause Danzhu to wrap herself around him like a serpent.
The situation had escalated quickly! It could only be said that at this moment, Danzhu was giving Bronya a run for her money. After all, the "numbers" on her abdomen had never been reset.
"Finally calmed down?" Maintaining their connection, Luo Hong roughly tilted Danzhu's head up and asked with a chuckle, "How far along are you guys?"
"Hmph!" After regaining a bit of strength, Danzhu slapped away his impudent hand. She wiggled her supple waist slightly, and after finding a more comfortable position, she finally spoke. "We've finished copying the memories from the Hua memory-body. However, there's too much redundant data; it needs to be streamlined. If we dump it directly into Fu Hua's brain, she'll break."
The main issue was Fu Hua's current physical condition; her body wasn't strong enough to handle such a massive stimulus. While it wouldn't kill her, the agony would be akin to torture—something Cangxuan and Danzhu refused to let her endure.
"So the progress is quite fast then." Luo Hong casually patted Danzhu's bottom, watching the "pudding" jiggle with a smirk.
"Mm~ Of course. We've been working for two days and a night straight." Danzhu let out a soft cry and rolled her eyes at him in protest. However, her glazed, lingering gaze betrayed her true feelings.
"Hard work!" Luo Hong pulled her into a tight embrace, smiling. "I'll reward you properly right now." With that, he began the "reward."
As she was lost in the sensation, he leaned into her ear. "I really didn't expect you to leave Cangxuan behind and come in here by yourself."
"T-that's not it..." Being hit right where it hurt, Danzhu's sensitivity spiked. But she had matured; before her reason completely dissolved, she managed to recall her excuse for entering. "I was afraid you'd trick Hua... Speaking of which, you did lie to her, didn't you?"
While Hua's eyes didn't show signs of lust, Danzhu could see that the way Hua looked at Luo Hong was... different. Since Hua hadn't been in this world long, Danzhu didn't believe Luo Hong could have achieved that look through anything other than deception.
"You caught me." Luo Hong smiled and loosened his grip on her, no longer hiding the truth. "I told her that her original self is my wife."
"Err..." Danzhu froze, then pouted. "As if there's a Valkyrie out there who isn't your wife? That hardly counts as a lie." Having spent so much time with him, she knew exactly how shameless he was; he would never define such a statement as "deception."
"I wasn't finished, don't be in such a hurry." He gave a slight thrust, and in the moment she lost her focus, he continued, "Using that initial trust, I told her that her current body was designed for nurturing life. I said if she had her original body, the baby would go hungry."
He leaned down again, whispering in a seductive tone, "By the way... are you interested in researching the topic of 'creating life' with me?"
It was a pity Ruan Mei wasn't here; he would have loved to discuss this with that genius.
"Mmph!" Already reeling from the "heavy damage," Danzhu completely buckled under his verbal assault. Her entire being felt like it was crumbling.
"You... you're really wicked." After coming down from the peak, she glared at him. "But does that even work in this world of yours? If you could actually create life, you would have done it before we even arrived, right?"
Through simple logic, she deduced that Luo Hong lacked this power. Otherwise, by the time she arrived, the place would have been crawling with his children. She certainly didn't doubt his "initiative" in that department.
"I can't, obviously." Luo Hong shrugged. "As you guessed, if I could, I wouldn't be so lonely. However, while I can't create real life, I can certainly fake it." His smile grew increasingly predatory as he looked at her.
"Huh?" Seeing that grin, Danzhu sensed danger. Before she could speak, she felt her abdomen begin to swell. Soon, her normally flat stomach was bloated like a small balloon.
"You... you bastard!" Her eyes widened as she stared at him, realizing she had still underestimated just how twisted he could be.
"Don't worry, I'm just letting you get used to the feeling in advance." Luo Hong flipped her over, smiling brightly. "And you feel it more this way, don't you?"
"..." While her face was filled with indignation, her body was being far too honest. Faced with his question, she could only turn her head away with a crimson face, refusing to look at him.
"Back to the topic." Seeing she had gone silent, Luo Hong didn't press her further and returned to the subject of Hua. "Just a moment ago, she was almost ready to let me 'test' her new body."
"Hmm?" This topic actually helped ease Danzhu's complicated emotions. She was no longer a naive "fledgling" like Hua; she would never again say something like: "It's fine, Lord, please train us as much as you like! Don't let our looks fool you, we're very durable!"
Having understood the true meaning of "testing," she asked suspiciously, "Would you really be that kind? Giving up a piece of meat right in front of you?"
"It's not about being kind." Luo Hong shook his head. "As your sister deduced, my goal is your hearts. Getting you through those means is meaningless. Ultimately, I just felt that Hua was too... heavy. She carries too much. Do you really like her that way?" He gently stroked Danzhu's rounded belly, feeling her body shiver involuntarily.
"Mmm..." Under his touch, a strange emotion rippled through her. But to keep from being looked down upon, she forced herself to focus. "That's true... even in the past, we always wanted her to relax more. We 'tricked' her quite a bit ourselves for that reason."
Teasing was, at its core, a form of deception—something she and Cangxuan were guilty of as well. Thus, she had no moral high ground to criticize him. "But... using that kind of thing to tease her? Isn't that a bit much?" She tried to act as if she felt nothing, but her body was shouting the truth.
"Heh." Feeling her tightness, Luo Hong chuckled. "As long as I don't go through with the final step, it still counts as 'teasing', doesn't it?"
"Sophistry!" Danzhu rolled her eyes to hide her defeat. Gasping for air, she said indignantly, "Anyway, you'd better explain everything properly to Hua later!""I was the one who designed that body!"
"Alright, alright, whatever you say."
With a final promise, Luo Hong launched his last offensive against Danzhu. Caught in the relentless waves of his passion, she naturally failed to notice the peculiar glint flashing in his eyes.
By the time Luo Hong led Danzhu back, it was already time for a meal. While eating wasn't strictly necessary, Seele and the others—even Qingque—were mentally drained from their long session of Celestial Jade and needed a change of pace.
Thus, the group headed to the cafeteria. While Seele and the girls chose to show off their cooking skills instead of simply manifesting food out of thin air, Luo Hong pulled Hua aside to a corner, with Danzhu as a witness.
"My apologies," Luo Hong said directly, making no attempt to hide it. "I deceived you earlier."
"Hmm?" Hua froze, a complex look crossing her face. "In what way?"
To her surprise, if his previous words were indeed lies, she should have felt relieved. Yet, for some inexplicable reason, she felt a faint sense of... disappointment?
"This body of yours—I wasn't the one who researched it." Luo Hong turned his gaze to Danzhu and spoke with a serious face. "It was created by Danzhu."
"Ah...?" Hua turned toward Danzhu with a peculiar expression. She couldn't fathom Danzhu's motive for doing such a thing. So... was it still for the sake of nurt-nurturing life? At the thought, her face flushed slightly, yet she felt strangely at ease.
"You! Wait just a minute!" Seeing the odd look on Hua's face, Danzhu immediately realized Luo Hong was playing word games. She turned on him indignantly. "Are you just not going to explain the rest of it?"
"Explain what?" Luo Hong asked innocently. "Since you created the body, it naturally follows that everything I said afterward was also a fabrication."
"F-fabrication?" Hearing this, the heart that Hua had just let settle was immediately suspended again. "So... so the part about nurturing life was also a lie?" She bit her lip but chose to ask anyway.
"I apologize. At the time, I felt the air around you was too heavy, so I thought of saying those things to tease you." Luo Hong stated his purpose with a perfectly straight face.

"Is that so?" Upon hearing his explanation, it was impossible for Hua to remain angry. On the contrary—
"Thank you." She could distinguish between good and bad intentions. Since Luo Hong hadn't used that lie to take the final step with her, she understood that he was, at the very least, not a bad person.
"No need to thank me." Luo Hong shook his head with a light laugh. "I did deceive you, after all."
"You two..." Danzhu's lip twitched as she watched the two of them, who now seemed even closer than before. How did the atmosphere between them get even better?
"Then..." Hua hesitated for a moment before asking another question. "The part about my original self being your wife...?"
"That, however, is the truth." Luo Hong nodded emphatically, his expression solemn. "I did not lie about that!"
"..." Hua stared at him in silence, her racing heart finally finding some peace.
However—
"Hua, don't listen to him! This guy unilaterally considers all of us his wives!" To prevent Hua from getting the wrong idea, Danzhu interjected immediately. "Your original self hasn't even met him yet!" She had almost said "doesn't know him," but Luo Hong's reputation had long been spread by Theresa and the others, so Fu Hua was certainly aware of his existence.
"Wait!" Hua didn't focus on the latter part of the sentence. Instead, she looked at Danzhu in shock. "Danzhu, did you just say... 'us'?"
"Then, are you and him...?" Compared to herself, she always cared more about her companions.
"A-ah... well..." Faced with Hua's gaze, Danzhu couldn't help but feel shy. She rested her left hand on her right elbow, averted her eyes, and nodded slightly. "He and I... are indeed together."
"But it's not just me. My sister is with him too... I'm not the only one who lost to him!" She was fiercely competitive in that regard, but she forgot that the current Hua wasn't yet one of their "comrades"—or rather, one of their "roommates."
"C-Cangxuan too?" Hua's mouth fell open, her pupils shaking once again. If it were just Danzhu, she might have understood, but with Cangxuan added to the mix... and apparently others as well? It was a staggering shock to a maiden who had never even been in a relationship.
"Err..." Realizing she had misspoke, Danzhu tried to perform damage control. "It's not what you think. We... we..." She looked at Luo Hong, unsure if she should use the word "coerced."
Initially, their relationship with Luo Hong was more of a transaction where both sides got what they needed; only later did it evolve into what it was now. To call it "coercion" felt like she was slandering him. After carefully weighing her words, she said: "In short, as long as you reach his world, falling into his demonic clutches is only a matter of time. You won't be an exception. However, I believe you should see his true face now; otherwise, you might feel pain later."
Being deceived by someone you love is never a good thing. Even if everyone stayed together in the end, it would leave a thorn in one's heart. Is that why this guy let the 'cooked duck' fly away? Danzhu glanced at Luo Hong, beginning to understand his logic.
"I see." Seeing that Luo Hong didn't contradict her and merely watched with a warm smile, Hua realized this was the truth. For a moment, she didn't know what to say. She could only manage a faint, "I understand."
Though, in truth, she wasn't entirely sure what she understood.
"By the way," Danzhu added, seeing Hua's conflicted state, "Based on what this guy says, we should be able to defeat the Honkai. If you find you can't fall in love with him, then just accept him as part of a transaction."
She didn't want Hua to be misled by him, but she wasn't trying to drive her away either. As she had said, Luo Hong wouldn't let any of them go. Thus, she began providing Hua with a viable excuse, just as she and Cangxuan had done in the beginning. With a way out, one can avoid mental exhaustion!
"Is that so?" Hua's eyes brightened at this "reason." If it meant defeating the Honkai, then sacrificing herself wasn't out of the question.
"So, you both stayed for that reason as well?" She looked at Danzhu, then at Luo Hong.
"At least in the beginning, yes." This time, before Danzhu could speak, Luo Hong gave the answer. Danzhu simply gave him a light kick, but she didn't deny it. At this stage, she could no longer deceive her own heart.
"Mm..." Hua nodded, a look of relief washing over her. "I understand." This time, she truly did, and the confusion vanished from her eyes as she looked at him.
The Elysian Realm.
"Hua, you're awake?" Elysia, who had been watching over her, immediately grew excited. "You met him, didn't you?"
"Err..." Hua was still a bit dazed from the sudden encounter with Elysia upon waking. "I did." She nodded and spoke calmly. "He is quite an interesting person."
"Stare... Sigh!" Elysia looked Hua up and down before letting out a sigh. "I can tell. He managed to change even you. I'm getting more and more curious about him! Why can't I go in yet?" She rested her chin on her hand, looking pouting and sad.
"Change?" Hearing Elysia use that word, Hua quickly looked down at her body... she could no longer see her feet. Unless she made a conscious effort to look, they were completely obscured—a stark contrast to her original self.To be honest, she was having a difficult time adjusting to those two massive lumps of fat on her chest. They genuinely hindered her combat effectiveness, and she knew it would take some time to get used to them.
"I wasn't just talking about your physical changes, you know," Elysia said, her light chuckle fading into a gentle, serious expression. "The aura around you has changed. Hua, congratulations on your rebirth!"
By "rebirth," Elysia didn't just mean that Hua had gained a physical body.
"Th-thank you..." Hua replied, though she didn't quite grasp the deeper meaning yet.
Just then—
"Jingwei... no, I should call you Hua now, shouldn't I?" Ji Lin, clutching the Xuanyuan Sword, finally found a moment to speak to her.
"Either is fine," Hua shook her head. "You can still call me Jingwei if you like. Luo Hong let me see the memories of my original self all the way up to the Jingwei era. So, while I am not the original, I still recognize you."
"Really?" A spark of joy lit up Ji Lin's eyes. "That's wonderful."
Ji Lin knew this wasn't the exact Jingwei she once knew, but there was so little difference that she viewed her as a true successor. Because of this, her favorability toward Luo Hong—the man who made this possible—rose another notch. Lord, you truly have done a great deed!
"Since you have the memories of when we were together, can you record them and transmit them to your original self?" Ji Lin asked.
"I cannot," Hua said with a look of regret. "I am no longer a memory-body. I can't transmit memories like I used to. Otherwise, since you have memories of my original self as well, you could have done it yourself."
"I suppose that's true..." Ji Lin looked a bit dejected.
"It doesn't matter." Hua rose from the bed and looked at Ji Lin. "Once things are settled here, I will go with you to find my original self. With me there, she should believe our words quickly. Then, you can transmit the previous memories to her, and she will understand everything."
"Mm." Ji Lin finally felt at ease.
"Come with me," Hua said calmly. "Danzhu told me why you're here. Let's go outside for a spar. I need to get used to this body anyway."
Feeling the immense power coursing through her, she realized just how strong she was now—especially since Luo Hong had cleared all her physical ailments. She felt unimaginably light. If she still had Fenghuang Down, she felt confident she could go toe-to-toe with Kevin in his prime. Such was the confidence a healthy body provided.
However, she was still clumsy with the two "fatty tissues" on her chest. If a battle started now, she would be at a disadvantage. She truly needed someone to spar with.
"Count me in!" Elysia chirped, her eyes shining with interest. "I'd love to see what kind of strength you can display with that new body." She stared at those newfound curves on Hua, already formulating a plan to deal with her.
"Then Elysia should come along as well." Hua naturally had no objections.
And so, taking advantage of Hua's lack of familiarity with her new form, Elysia summarized the sparring session as: Very easy... and really, incredibly soft! (▽)
