Even though in Luo Hong's world the two Seeles didn't feel physical fatigue, Seele still maintained her habit of sleeping. After playing for a whole day, she naturally felt the urge to nap. After Bronya "logged off," she asked Luo Hong for a room.
"Heh..." Looking at Seele, who had fallen asleep almost instantly upon hitting the bed, Luo Hong chuckled. "Seele really trusts me, doesn't she?"
He understood why. Having been in the Sea of Quanta for so long, her mind had been constantly on edge. It was only natural for her to want to sleep once she felt safe. Before, her longing for Bronya had overridden her instinct to rest, but now that Bronya was gone, that mental exhaustion had surfaced.
"Then please make sure you're worthy of that trust," Veliona said, standing beside Luo Hong and watching him warily.
"Don't worry." Luo Hong placed a hand on Veliona's shoulder and said with a smile, "With your sacrifice, I naturally won't touch Seele."
"D-don't you dare mention that in front of Seele..." Facing his touch, Veliona's voice became flustered and her face flushed red. Yet, despite her words, she made no move to physically stop him.
Of course, she also knew that even if she were to strike, she was absolutely no match for him.
"Hmm?" Luo Hong withdrew his hand and looked at her with an expression as if he were looking at a pervert. "Veliona, is your mind filled with nothing but lewd things now?"
"Your 'brother-in-law' truly feels sorry for you." Having said that, he shook his head with a look of mock pity.
"You...!" Seeing this bastard actually turn the tables and play the victim, Veliona wished she could stand on her tiptoes and bite that hateful mouth of his. But since Seele was still right there, she could only clench her fists and glare at him huffily.
"All right." Luo Hong's lips curled upward as he lightly patted Veliona's back, his voice softening. "You should rest with Seele. I know you're exhausted too."
Without giving her a chance to react, he teleported her directly onto the bed beside Seele. Just as he said, Veliona's nerves had been every bit as frayed as Seele's. If anything, while Seele occasionally found rest, Veliona had been constantly on guard.
"Huh? Mmph!"
Finding herself suddenly face-to-face with the sleeping Seele, Veliona froze. She didn't dare move, fearing she might wake her. In that moment of forced stillness, her internal tension finally snapped and gave way to relaxation; she unexpectedly drifted off to sleep just like that.
"That's more like it." After confirming that Veliona was asleep, Luo Hong set up a recording point in the room before leaving. He wasn't some creep trying to catch a scandalous glimpse—the pajamas he provided were quite thick. Furthermore, having already "eaten" Veliona, he had no need for such petty tricks. He simply wanted to record her reaction when they woke up; facing Seele after that would surely be entertaining.
Seele slept deeply. Even though she was sleeping within a dream, it felt no different from reality. Because this place felt so safe, she slept more soundly than she ever had. By the time she stirred, the sky outside was approaching dusk.
Her long eyelashes fluttered before she slowly opened her sea-blue eyes, only to be met with an exquisite, beautiful face identical to her own.
Did the other me sleep with me too? Truthfully, this was beyond her expectations. "The other her" was usually quite independent; Seele had assumed she would ask Luo Hong for a separate room.
And... my body feels a bit heavy. As her mind cleared, she realized someone was hugging her tightly. On this bed, who else could it be but Veliona?
Surprisingly cute... Feeling the embrace, a gentle smile played on Seele's lips. She soon realized that she hadn't been a "quiet" sleeper either; she was hugging Veliona back just as firmly. They were sleeping in each other's arms.
Just then, she noticed Veliona's eyelashes flicker—a sign she was about to wake. Seele quickly closed her eyes again. Almost immediately, she felt the temperature of the body she was holding rise rapidly.
Perhaps due to nervousness, Veliona's body went stiff, and her grip on Seele tightened instinctively, causing Seele to frown slightly. At that small movement, Veliona froze completely. Seele could even feel that she had stopped breathing. Then, still holding her breath and stiff as a board, Veliona began to slowly release her.
In that moment, a mischievous thought struck Seele. She suddenly tightened her hug, clinging to the Veliona who was trying to escape. Veliona's movements ground to a total halt; she became even more rigid.
It was a pity Seele didn't dare open her eyes yet, or she was sure she would have seen an expression on Veliona's face unlike any she had ever seen before.
Meanwhile, on the other side...
AAAAHHH! Seele, don't come any closer! (ΩДΩ)!
Veliona's mind was a chaotic mess. She never imagined she would wake up to this. Even more despairing was the fact that despite her reluctance to let go, she had tried to leave before Seele woke up—only for Seele to pull her back in. If Seele woke up now, Veliona feared she could never maintain her "tough" persona again. Her image would be ruined!
But much like Bronya, when pushed into a corner, she showed a flash of quick wit.
Wait, there's always that move! Suddenly realizing her options, her body began to quantum-ize, eventually merging back into Seele's body. This body Luo Hong prepared for her worked the same way here as it did outside. She had simply been "possessed" earlier by the desire to cuddle with Seele, which is why she hadn't used the ability when Luo Hong first sent her to the bed.
Because Veliona vanished into thin air, Seele's hug hit nothing but empty space, forcing her to open her eyes.
That... that was close... Inside the mental space, Veliona let out a secret sigh of relief. She assumed Seele only woke up because the hug failed. Since this ability came from Luo Hong, she even felt a tiny spark of gratitude and goodwill toward him—forgetting for a moment that he was the reason she was in that mess to begin with.
"Finally awake?" Sitting on her throne, Veliona composed herself and spoke to Seele. "I thought you were going to sleep until the CEO (Bronya) 'logged on' again."
"Mmm..." Seele sat up, letting out a cute sound as she gave a long stretch. Then, she spoke in a "puzzled" tone. "I don't know why, but I felt like the thing I was holding suddenly disappeared, so I woke up. Otherwise, I really might have slept until Big Sis Bronya arrived."
"Err..." Veliona was left speechless.
"By the way," Seele sat at the edge of the bed, swinging her long legs clad in white silk stockings, radiating joy from successfully teasing Veliona. "The other me, why aren't you coming out? And... why are you staying in the mental space?"
"Hmph." Seeing that Seele wasn't dwelling on what happened, Veliona relaxed slightly. To maintain her persona, she gave a huff before reappearing in front of Seele. "I just didn't want to bother that guy to prepare another room for me, so I stayed in the mental space." She crossed her arms, maintaining her air of arrogance.
"I see..." Seele nodded with a smile, acting as if she believed the explanation. If she hadn't woken up first, she might have actually bought it. But having seen Veliona's frantic behavior, she just found her incredibly cute.
Unable to help herself, she grabbed Veliona's hand. "Let's go find Brother Luo Hong."
"Why go find that guy?" Veliona pouted, but her body followed Seele's lead anyway.
"Brother Luo Hong has done so much for me; I want to do something to repay him." As they walked out of the Valkyrie dorms, Seele spotted the giant sign for the cafeteria. Her eyes lit up. "Let's bake some cookies for him!" She wasn't confident in making a full meal, but she had some experience with cookies.
"Us?" Veliona was about to refuse, but facing Seele's pitiful, pleading eyes, her heart immediately softened. "Fine, fine... I'll help too."
"Yay! Thank you, the other me!" Actually, Seele could have done it alone, but she felt Veliona had also received much from Luo Hong and wanted to help "break the ice" between them. Little did she know, Veliona and Luo Hong had already gone much further than she imagined.
Luo Hong's Bedroom.
Currently, Luo Hong was enjoying a "treadmill" massage service from Fu Xuan, who was wearing nothing but white silk tights.
"Interesting." Having watched the entire interaction between the two Seeles, a playful smile crossed his lips. The recording he left could serve a dual purpose: he could show Seele the funny face Veliona made to make up for Seele's missed view, or he could edit out the part where Seele woke up first and use it to blackmail Veliona. It was a win-win!

------------------------------------------------
After a long while—
"Since you're already here, stop pretending." Luo Hong turned to look at the newly "logged on" Qingque and laughed. "How does it feel to see your boss in this state?"
Under his "treatment," the Master Diviner in her white silk tights was already covered in a milky sweat, her eyes rolled back and her pink tongue lolling out—a truly erotic sight.
"Well, of course it's—" Caught by Luo Hong, Qingque lowered her head slightly before revealing...
"Fantastic!"
—A look of pure excitement!
Climbing onto the bed, Qingque pinched Fu Xuan's cheeks with both hands, her voice thick with resentment. "This is for constantly piling more work on me!"
"This is for making my life a living hell!"
"This is for making it impossible for me to slack off!"
"This is for..."
It was clear she held a deep-seated grudge against Fu Xuan. To be fair, she wasn't entirely to blame; ever since that day, she could palpably feel that Fu Xuan had been monitoring her from every possible angle. Not only had her workload increased significantly, but more importantly, that constant feeling of someone watching her back meant she didn't dare "slack off" even a little. She had been forced to work diligently and honestly.
So now, naturally, she was going to vent all that frustration on the Fu Xuan NPC. In fact, aside from finding people to play Celestial Jade with last night, her main goal was to find this NPC to release her pent-up dissatisfaction. Only by doing this could she maintain a "balanced" mind and continue being a corporate slave at the Divination Commission the next day.
"Alright, alright." Seeing Qingque vent like this, even Luo Hong found it a bit much to watch.
"What?" Qingque turned her head and pouted. "Feeling sorry for her?"
"Based on what you said, they're just NPCs. You shouldn't care at all, right?"
"I still care," Luo Hong laughed as he pulled Qingque into his arms. "But I don't just feel for her—I feel for you, too. I've gathered enough 'materials' by now. When the real Fu Xuan enters this place, I'm worried she might..."
"Beat me to death?" Qingque rolled her eyes, wearing a defiant "nothing to lose" expression. "That would be for the best! I've wanted to quit for ages. I'm ready to go out in a blaze of glory with her!"
Of course, she only dared to say this here. In front of the real Fu Xuan, she was still that obedient little "sparrow."
"Not quite," Luo Hong shook his head and said solemnly. "What I was going to say is—I'm worried she'll start treating you like a workhorse."
"Huh?" Qingque froze, then asked indignantly, "Isn't she already doing that?"
"If she really were, you wouldn't have the energy to vent on the Master Diviner's NPC." Luo Hong chuckled playfully. "Little sparrow, have you heard of '007'?"
"007?" Just hearing the term made Qingque's slacker soul wail in terror, rolling around in agony. She hurriedly asked, "What does that mean?"
"Working from 0:00 to 0:00, seven days a week without rest." Luo Hong lowered his head and kissed Qingque's forehead. "I believe in being fair to everyone. I'll let you ravage the Fu Xuan NPC, but when the real Fu Xuan comes in, I'll tell her all about your weaknesses."
"Furthermore, you should know that in my dreamscape, you don't consume stamina. When you wake up tomorrow, you'll be in peak condition. In other words, in my dream, you truly can achieve a 007 schedule."
A satisfied, mischievous smile curled on his lips.
"You... you devil!" Qingque's body couldn't help but tremble. This was far more terrifying than Luo Hong saying he was going to "take" her right now!
"Don't be like that," Luo Hong shrugged. "Don't you have bargaining chips to keep me quiet too?"
"Hmph!" Seeing Luo Hong finally reveal his true colors, Qingque pouted. "I knew that was your goal. Fine, you've seen what you've seen and touched what you've touched. Do whatever you want."
She reached back and hugged Luo Hong. She wasn't necessarily scared into it; she just knew there was no escape. Besides, from talking to her tile-playing friends last night, she knew this body wasn't her real one. Since she had been single since birth, she figured she'd just treat this as a vivid "spicy dream." After all... her eyes swept over Luo Hong's handsome face... she was actually a bit interested.
"Fu Xuan, hold her down."
Seeing Qingque resign herself to fate, Luo Hong commanded the Fu Xuan NPC to embrace Qingque from behind.
"I... I said I won't run away..." Held by the NPC, Qingque's feelings became complicated.
"But that would be so boring." Luo Hong reached out, his hand trailing from her lower body all the way up to her chin. "See? You feel it more this way."
"Mmph!" Luo Hong's touch felt like an electric current. Qingque's body tensed, her face flushing crimson. Meanwhile, the NPC behind her nibbled on her earlobe, further shaking her resolve.
"It seems you're quite satisfied with the Master Diviner's service." Seeing the faint pink hearts appearing in Qingque's eyes, Luo Hong knew the time was right. He pressed down and lowered his head—
"Eh?" Qingque's eyes widened. She watched indignantly as Luo Hong kissed the Fu Xuan NPC behind her instead.
Am I seriously less attractive than a Master Diviner NPC? The thought flared up, but she immediately extinguished it. Wait... isn't being able to slack off a good thing? Even if she was just a "prop" in Luo Hong's play with the NPC, she was a slacker by nature; this was acceptable.
"Your jealousy vanished so quickly... you really try to slack off even during this, don't you?" Seeing her jealousy index plummet, Luo Hong stopped kissing the NPC and looked at Qingque with a helpless smile.
"Hmph~" Qingque let out a soft moan, her voice trembling. "No... no one can stop me from... slacking off!"
"Fine then." Luo Hong realized it was time to get serious. Playing games with a slacker maniac like Qingque was useless; he had to conquer her with pure "strength."
"W-what are you doing?" Sensing the change in Luo Hong's aura, Qingque looked panicked.
"What am I doing?" Luo Hong's smile widened. "I'm doing you!"
Soon, Qingque's muffled cries could no longer be suppressed, rising in wave after wave.
The Cafeteria
"Hello, Big Sister Qingque!" Seele greeted politely. Veliona (Black Seele) followed suit.
"Hello, Seele sisters," Qingque replied with a refreshed, sunny smile. On the way over, Luo Hong had briefed her on Seele's situation.
So this is the girl who can survive in the Sea of Quanta? She scanned the delicate Seele and the sharp Veliona, her expression turning pensive. The Sea of Quanta was an existence that could rival the Imaginary Tree itself.
This Honkai world is truly terrifying! If she initially had thoughts about helping them advance their technology, Luo Hong's explanation made her realize she had underestimated them. While they were still confined to a single planet, their research into the Imaginary Tree was incredibly deep. They had simply taken a path she wasn't familiar with—and had gone quite far.
"Have some cookies, Big Sister Qingque." Seele had already given some to Luo Hong, and now she offered them to Qingque.
"Thank you... they're delicious." Qingque was generous with her praise for the cute girl. And the cookies were indeed excellent.
"Brother Luo Hong," Seele looked at him after receiving Qingque's approval, "The other me helped too. It's thanks to her that they turned out so well." She didn't forget her goal of breaking the ice between Veliona and Luo Hong.
"Hmph~" Veliona huffed. "It's no big deal."
"But I can feel your sincerity, Veliona." Luo Hong smiled and rubbed Veliona's head. "Thank you for letting me taste such delicious cookies."
"Hmph..." Veliona maintained her arrogant persona with a grunt. But soon, she couldn't keep it up anymore.
[Take a look at this first.] Luo Hong played the edited recording directly in her mind. [If you don't want Seele to know, you know what to do, right?]
[Despicable!] Veliona glared at Luo Hong, her eyes looking as though they were spitting fire. But being at his mercy, she could only lower her head. "I-if you like them... I... I wouldn't mind making them for you again next time."
She looked, for all the world, like a classic tsundere girl. But in Qingque's eyes—
This guy is definitely blackmailing her again, isn't he?
Due to her vantage point, Qingque could clearly see the simmering rage in Veliona's eyes. However, because Veliona and Seele were standing on the same side, Seele couldn't see Veliona's expression as long as the latter didn't want her to. Thus, Qingque remained the only one seeing the situation for what it truly was.
However—
"Mm, Seele will help too!" Seeing Veliona agree, Seele flashed a satisfied smile. Ultimately, her goal was to make Veliona and Luo Hong get along, so this was exactly the outcome she wanted to see.
I see... Observing Seele's smile, Qingque's opinion of Luo Hong shifted slightly once more. So this guy actually knows how to play the "pure romance" route? Truth be told, even though she'd heard rumors from her tile-playing friends last night, she hadn't quite believed that a "demon" like Luo Hong would ever choose a wholesome path. But looking at Seele, who was as adorable as a small animal, she could understand his line of thinking.
If it were her, she'd go all-in too!
But... couldn't you be a little gentler with me? Recalling what happened earlier, her face flushed involuntarily. While she didn't mind a firm hand, Luo Hong had been utterly relentless even after she pleaded for mercy, which made things a bit awkward for her. And if Luo Hong hadn't sensed that Seele's cookies were almost done, she would still be forced to stay "on the clock"... How tragic!
"Seele," she suggested after a moment's thought, "Since there are exactly four of us, why don't we play a round of Celestial Jade?"
While the "other thing" had its own charms, she didn't want to go back to that particular brand of hell just yet. Playing Celestial Jade was a much more joyful prospect. More importantly, with Seele around, she believed Luo Hong wouldn't pull any of his more outrageous stunts; they could actually play a normal game.
"Hmm?" Seele looked slightly confused. She had never heard of Celestial Jade, but the suggestion piqued her interest. In the Sea of Quanta, she had no entertainment whatsoever; if not for Veliona's company and her faith in Bronya, her sanity would have snapped long ago. Now, she was eager to try any form of amusement.
"What is it? Can you teach me, Big Sister Qingque?"
"No problem at all!" Patting her chest—which was, admittedly, no match for Seele's—Qingque boasted, "This game is simple. I guarantee you'll learn it in no time."
Seeing that Luo Hong had no intention of stopping her, she began her "evangelism." Soon enough, both Seele and Veliona got the hang of it.
"Then let's play a few rounds." Knowing that Qingque had swapped one addiction for another, Luo Hong set up the game table. This time, he didn't choose a dim room. As he had promised before, he took everyone outdoors.
"By the way—" After they sat down to play, he asked curiously, "Who were you playing tiles with yesterday?"
Since his focus had been entirely on Seele yesterday, he hadn't paid much attention to what the others were up to.
"The twins, Cangxuan and Danzhu, and also Ji Lin." Qingque saw no reason to hide it and answered openly.
"Oh?" Luo Hong's lips curled into a playful smirk. "You guys actually found each other. What a coincidence. Speaking of which, does Danzhu seem familiar to you?"
"Huh?" Qingque looked puzzled. "Why would she be familiar? We aren't even from the same world."
There were countless people on the Xianzhou, and being a dedicated slacker, she didn't know many people outside of the Divination Commission and her gambling circle.
"Never mind then. You'll understand why I asked eventually." He gave her a mysterious smile, and then—
"Hu! (Winning move!)" He successfully caught Qingque's discard to win the hand.
"Darn it! My 'Flush'!" Qingque wailed in agony. Her hand was nearly complete, making the loss even more bitter. What annoyed her most was that Luo Hong had won with a measly, low-scoring hand.
How despicable! She immediately tossed his mysterious question to the back of her mind, focusing entirely on getting her revenge.
