Arc 1 Chapter 7 True Crimson
Alex: I'm in this dark room again... What happened? ( I'm sorry Alex but it's for your own good...) ah right.... Sion drugged me... I mean it's not like I'm angry about it or anything, it's just that... Now that I think about it... What did I do wrong again? Cuz the only sin I committed was get my ass handed down to me by Lucia... And Albert told me not to activate my aura? I see, they lied to me... Something happened to me during training and they are keeping it to their selves... Like was it really that dangerous? If Sion of all people is keeping it from me then it must be Serious, but still it pisses me off. GAHHH WAKE UP ALREADY MEEE!!
As Alex shouted these words as in a God answered his prayers he woke up instantly from his bed and like last time Sion was right next to him but awake this time and with a sad face.
Sion: Alex listen... I... I'm sorry!(started crying) I didn't mean to but the was an enemy... And... And I panicked...
Alex: don't worry I'm not mad about you spiking my water but I am angry about one thing.
Sion: (wipes away tears) what?
Alex: when we were sparring with Lucia, what happened to me and please (with a very serious face) don't lie to me.
Sion: .... Well...
Sion explained almost everything that happened in the training grounds except for the part where he became hostile and tried to hurt Lucia with this "new found power". But Alex already guessed the gist of it.
Alex: I see then I probably tried to hurt you or Lucia huh? I guess I understand why you tried to hide it from me.
Sion: how did you...
Alex: I've known you my whole life Sion and I know when you are being honest or not.
Sion: I'm sorry I will always be honest with you so please don't... Hate me(a little teary).
Alex: geez don't start crying, I'm not blaming you and precise I will never ever hate you okay! Geez Sion you're supposed to be the smart, calm and cool not I cry baby.
Sion: I'm only like this when I'm with you.
Alex: then let it stay like that. You are allowed to get emotional when it's just the two of us okay?
Sion: (wipes tears) okay... Thank you Alex.
Alex: we are bestfriends for a reason and the proof of that is the fact that you kept the name I gave you, now let's go Sion Grey.
Sion: yes Alex Ember... Now where are we going?
Alex: to wherever uncle Albert went.
Sion: but Albert said tha... You know what screw that stupid order we are going to the east district and we don't care if we become a liability.
Alex: yeah! Now you finally get it this is our first step to becoming adventurers to... Becoming legends so let's go.
And so Alex and Sion stormed out of the mansion the mansion in an attempt to rescue Lucia, which was the most stupid decision ever but for Alex and Sion it was leveling up and their hearts were burning with excitement even though it meant that they were gonna loose their lives, they were burning crimson.
Meanwhile on the east district buildings were collapsing one after another and while these events were happening some of the the maids were helping the people get to safety by entering every single house of the district and taking the people living inside to safety, while at the other hand Rest of the staff were locked in at the battle between the 100 ghosts summoned by Drogo.
While they were battling, the butler cut through tens of ghosts with [Rapid slashes]
Butler: do not hesitate, the enemy is weak!
"yes sir" said a maid in a distance as they all now charged at the ghosts with no fear after finding out how weak they were or the maids were too strong?
While this was happening and it looked like the ghosts were pushed back things got worse for the ghosts as Albert and Rachel just made it to the scene and Rachel instantly took down the Ghosts using [Super Slash] while her [Judgement Eyes] is active to find Lucia.
Rachel: Mr Albert something is coming and it's strong!
Albert: yeah already saw him.
With just that a man with a strong aura appeared right behind the ghosts, he was tall, messy black hair, black and blue armor, White skin and a regular built body, at his hands was a dagger enhanced with dark aura and he himself was emitting a real creepy dark aura, he was Rox the Shadow Figure.
Albert: I take it you're the shadow guy?
Rox: the name's Rox and it's an honor to meet you Super Punch
Albert: (sigh) I hate that name
Rox: yeah I agree, it's lame and cheesy
Albert: well it wasn't that bad... Right?
Maids: (giggle)
Butler: I'm sorry Master but it was pure ass
Albert: you guys are traitors
Rachel: anyways, Albert that guy is really strong, not stronger than you but strong enough to make my Judgment eyes go crazy.
Albert: I know I will be a little bit careful and not to mention that he even came to face me head on,but have you found Lucia yet?
Rachel: yes... She's nearby but I don't know where.
Albert: then that's good enough for me.
Rox: are you done talking? Then let's get this over with.
Albert: yeah.
Albert and Rox: [aura release]
Albert and Rox's auras clashed with each other releasing shock waves soo great that Rachel and the staff were getting pushed back a little.
Rachel: their aura bursts are too brutal!
Butler: those are not aura bursts but aura release, it's like a warm-up, you're a C rank but don't know what an aura release is?
Rachel: no, I do it's just that their auras are too big for me to comprehend!
Without wasting any time, Rox charged first at Albert and right before Albert's eyes, Rox teleported right behind him in an attempt to stab him in the back but Albert reacted and caught his hand.
Albert: Sion told me about your ability to pop up at shadows and how you can also possess them.
Rox: yeah and I can also do this.
And right before Albert's eyes Lucia appeared out of nowhere unconscious and Albert froze before he could counter and Rox saw this opening and struck Albert at the ribs with a kick and flew to the rubble of the destroyed buildings. When Albert recovered he looked at Rachel and she nodded to confirm that the Lucia who appeared was the real Lucia but something was strange...
Albert's aura was not activating.
Albert: am I in stealth mode?
Rox: that's right! When I attach an Amu's stone directly into you, you are forced into stealth mode no matter how strong you are.
Amu's stone is a crystal like object used to force someone into stealth mode when activated and you can use it by pointing at the person you want and activate it with your mana and the target will be in stealth mode, but there's an exception like when the target is stronger than you but if you attach it directly to the target like stab him with it, then it will work, no matter how strong the target is.
Rox: my unique ability allows me to store one more person other than me... So I used that to take Lucia anywhere with me and I used that against you to stab an Amu's stone on your shoulder.
Albert: impossible I should have felt when you... I see, your ability negates distance and velocity that's why I couldn't sense you.
Rox: exactly! Now it's time to kill you and everyone here!
Alex: I'm not so sure about that!
Sion: yeah and I'm ready for a rematch!
Alex and Sion finally made it to the battle field and the direction of the the battle shifted to Alex and Sion vs Rox
Rox: you again? It's like your begging to be killed.
Sion: this time it won't go last time.
Rox: oh yeah? What changed?
Sion: I have Alex with me!
Rox: am I a joke to you?
Alex: nope we can tell that you're strong but, we must do everything we can to help and protect the ones we love and you have one of our family members and we are gonna do whatever it takes to get her back! Let's go Sion!
Sion: let's give him hell!
And the battle begins.
