It had been nearly a full day since Natsuki and Vylara had returned from their impromptu 'adventure', and they were busy healing back in their rooms at the inn, all the while as the elderly (Hey, I'm not that old!- A certain cyborg who shall not be named) tried their best in trying to figure out why their devices were not working properly in the world.
Soon after snapping from his stupor, Vylara couldn't help but notice that from the corner of her eyes, Natsuki slowly began to change in front of her. Initially, when they first met, he looked nothing more than those incels she saw of as:
A loser in life who blamed everything on others, even if he was the main cause, unable to accept defeat and whine on like a little bitch
But it slowly began to change as she interacted more and more with him during these last few days:
When he acted all quirky and stuff, embarrassing himself in front of the guards, she couldn't wait before covering her face in shame (later at night, she laughed so hard she pissed herself a little - but she wasn't going to tell him that...). Seeing him act all innocent while traversing the meadows gave him a sense of innocence, something which seemed to be innate and not forced like those incels who always leered at her body whenever she walked back to the office back in Aethelopas...
Damn those horndogs!
She shakes her head to keep herself from thinking about those repulsive looks, unwilling to vomit out the parfait he ate a couple of minutes before. But what flipped her attitude towards him was when he stood by her, defeating the... 'shadow' monster in one hit, despite being heavily underpowered. Unable to hold herself back, she chewed her lips, trying to stifle any... 'other' feelings she has for him.
No, snap out of it! He's just an 18-year-old, what would people think if you-
"Emergency, emergency! Everyone, take shelter! The Demon King's army has been sighted coming from the NNNOOOOOORRRRRTTHHH!"
Floating extremely fast, the Bellman sped through the busy street, sending everyone into a panic, as all began panicking and trying their best to escape the ensuing horde of monsters. But that was not what gave Vylara the unsettling feeling...
How on Aeronia is someone who is not a magician to float that fast- Hey, wait a minute, did his feet just glitch itself now!?

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Scream for me pretties, SCREAM! AHAHAHAHAH!"
Floating in the air, a shadow maiden could be seen glancing below, her light-blue thighs floating tantalisingly before the crowd of men, most of whom were very young (much to the chagrin of the women- I mean, she looked better than approximately 90% of them present, who can blame the men!). Pushing her index finger onto her lips, she wiggled her scantily clad body, flipping her ears as she began seducing every man in the city. "Oohhh, so many men~ I wish someone could help me fulfill a wish of mine that I so dearly want..."
Though she was a Demon, all of the men present couldn't help but fantasise that she was a friendly one, some even wishing that she offers herself as the reward for her wish. Finally, one, the largest of them, couldn't help but ask Seculina what she wanted. "Hey woman, I'll do anything as long as I can have you. Say, what'd you want anyway...?"
Licking her lips, her eyes suddenly glowed bright blue, as malice quickly filled them, mouth twisting into a hideous grin.
"Really? Well then...
Please die for the Shadow Monarch!"
