Rosaline looks outside the window. She remembers hearing some voices,
"He said we shouldn't tie her up, we just leave her here it's a game"
"Where's the card put it in her pocket"
Rosaline stands up and looks for her clothes she checked her coat pocket and then she sees red card with gold words written on it.
"Don't trust the devil, he has a secret you really need to know"
"What is this?"She said she puts the card in the drawer and then lies down "What's going on? What's Louis hiding from me? Why can't I trust him he's really behaving weird these days"
Rosaline said closing her eyes, her phone starts ringing.
Michael's name popped up on the screen. Rosaline swipes the answer button.
"Michael"
"Rose are you okay what happened ever since you left the bar I couldn't find you what happened?" Came Michael's worried voice.
"I was abducted-
"Did they hurt you?" He immediately asked.
"Um no they just left me there I couldn't move or open my eyes till Louis came to save me"said Rosaline
"I told Louis was dangerous his enemies are after you, did they want something do you know them?" Michael's questions surrounded Rosaline's thoughts.
"Um I don't know, but I think Louis knows who did and doesn't want to tell me" said Rosaline
"Rose I've told you Louis is a dangerous man don't trust him he'll break your heart" said Michael
"What about my brother any news?" Rosaline asked changing the topic.
"I haven't found anything yet, but once I find any lead I'll let you know"said Michael.
"Thanks Michael I have to hang up now"she said to him.
"Rest well"he said, Rosaline hangs up and then goes to sleep.
Louis comes into the room and then he sees her all curled up and fast asleep, he wondered why she slept that way it was bad for her.
He sits down and gives her a kiss on her face, Rosaline opens her eyes and then smiles touching his face too.
"It's time to eat"he said to her placing the food before her. Rosaline's eyes shimmers and then she sits up then Louis places places a pillow for her to rest her back, so she feels comfortable.
"When did you become so caring?" She asked him with a hint of teasing.
"Do you want me to not care, you're a part of me now so I'll have to take care of myself" he said feeding her.
Rosaline's cheeks turned red and then she takes a bite.
"I feel special" she blushed
"Aren't you"he said wiping off a pepper crumb from her mouth with his hand and then he licks it.
"What should I do with you" she said to him.
"Don't do anything else just stay and love me" he said.
"You sound rather sweet this morning what did you eat?" She asked.
"How about I show you I've been kissed by a rose" he said leaning in close and giving her a slow kiss.
"I'm still hungry" she said to him.
"Here eat, don't talk it's bad table manners" he said to her.
Rosaline immediately keeps quiet and continues eating it was time for the soup and Louis looks at her.
"Missy don't be spoiled now" he said
"It smells really spicy I don't like it can I not drink it" she said.
"Rose drink the soup or I'll punish you" he said to her.
"Okay fine " she said pinching her nosestril and drinks the soup her face sour.
"Here's a treat" he said giving her a sweet.
"Thanks " she said to him.
"D you remember anything from the scene did you see anyone? " he asked
"Um no I don't remember anything except from when I was abducted and when you came to take me away" she said.
"Alright get some rest " he said leaving the room.
"Stay" she said gripping his arm he turns around and looks at her.
"Just hold me " she said to him her blue eyes shining. Louis takes off his shoes and climbs the bed and hugs her from behind stroking her hair as he wraps his hand around her.
"Louis I wanted to ask you do you know who abducted me?" She asked
"You don't need to know" he said
"Is it my brother?" She suddenly asked. Louis face turns ashen and he changes his facial expression immediately so she wouldn't notice but Rosaline noticed that and then she looks at him.
"It's not him" he said
"Okay I trust you"she said.
Louis' hand stops stroking her hair and he looks at her and his eyes mixed with different emotions. She trusted a liar like him, for the first Louis felt bad for lying to her by the way if he told her the truth himself she would still hate him. Well all the evil doers are cursed and punished this is his own price to pay.
Rosaline was still a little down and kept feeling nauseous she would throw up at the slightest smell, apart from burning up.
Louis was trying his best to nurse her back to health and then he had eye bags and a bit of stable on his face.
Grey Mansion
Victor Grey sat down playing with a dagger as he looks at the letter that was placed before him.
It was a red letter written in gold words, "It's your impending doom remember only the last man gets the crown"
He fiddles with the card inside the red envelope.
"He's still out there" he said grinding his teeth.
That night Victor Grey goes to the seaport with his men smoking on a cigarette, and he looks at the damage, it was all burnt down.
"Look here Master Grey " said one of his men giving him another card.
"It's the same one in the burnt warehouse and the seaport.
" Soon we'll all burn down like this but one of us has to go first, tell us Mr Grey who will go first" and there was a snake symbol on all the red card.
" Someone is messing with us" he said throwing the card away.
He takes out his phone and he calls a number.
Louis was lying down next to Rosaline when his phone starts vibrating he looks at the caller ID and sneers.
"You beat where are you?" Came Grey's angry voice.
"Stop barking at me what do you want?" Said Louis leaving the room.
"Someone is after us and he's declaring open war" said Victor Grey.
"You're finding out that now, by the way what does it have to do with me?" Louis' voice was low and melancholy.
" I need you to finish them off and find out who it is " said Victor.
Louis smiles and then starts laughing like a demon.
"It's my job to do the hunting and dirty work, you can't control me, work it out yourself " said Louis
"Louis I'm your father "
"So what Mr Grey I'm not at your beck and call that son's gone" said Louis
"Don't play word games with me you know who it is, where's that girl from the Anderson family you should get rid of her " said Victor.
"Says who my wife is not going anywhere" said Louis.
The air seemed to freeze. Victor Grey held his chest collapsing, "Y...you did what you married your sworn enemy" said Victor Grey.
"You're going to kill us all" said Victor Grey.
"Not my enemy your enemy Victor Grey she's knows nothing about it, touch a hair on my wife's head and I won't care that you're my father, by the way you play dirty Victor Grey siding with an Anderson just to kill an Anderson" said Louis.
"Hand her over" said Victor Grey
"Never till my last breath" said Louis
"I'll be waiting to hear about your impending doom"he adds.
"What are you gaining from all this you caused this war and you can't escape it"said Victor Grey.
Louis smiles "I didn't start the bloody war I just happened to fall into it, the war started because of our selfishness for a stupid box"said Louis.
"If I find out that she's the one behind it you won't be able to save her from me"said Victor Grey.
"Instead of threatening me and disturbing my peace why don't you watch out for what's coming to you Mr Grey, save your petty threats for a minor"said Louis hanging up. He holds the side of the desk in his office his grip tightened, his eyes red and he grinds his teeth.
Louis was in the study when Reinald comes in holding a box. "You have a gift Master Grey "he said dropping the gift, "More like a little message "said Louis, opening the box in it were pictures of Felix smiling happily as he took a picture with Rosaline who fast asleep.
"Let's get his drill with me I want you to catch that son of a bitch and bring him to me"said Louis.
