Luca wasn't sure whether Elard had deliberately mentioned Griffin being his friend to discourage him from targeting other High Gods, or if he had another motive entirely. As far as he remembered, Lord Deon had clearly stated that the High Gods neither allied nor conflicted with one another. They avoided each other and never entered each other's territories.
Perhaps… it was better to remain open and gather more information.
