Luca frowned in surprise as he arrived in the arena. It was enormous—large enough to accommodate ten thousand people. Moreover, the spiritual energy in the air was extremely thin, indicating that he was not in the Soul Plane as he had expected.
He was supposed to arrive at his palace in the Demon Land, yet someone had interfered with the destination of his teleportation. Whoever did this must possess power equal to—or greater than—his own, since he had not even noticed someone tampering with his magic.
He straightened his posture and relaxed his muscles. "Is this another trap, Father-in-law?"
Lord Deon appeared, floating high in the sky. "I have a surprise for you."
"I don't know why, but I have a feeling I'm not going to like it," Luca replied dryly. "Still, go ahead."
"For today's training," Deon said casually, "I won't seal any of your powers."
