Lancet stared at her for a moment like he was contemplating. Ever since he had created Spectra, all she had done was to try to tempt him.
When she wasn't tempting him to use Gloom, she was teasing him with sexual innuendos and making passive seductive advances at him. Even in Deathrock after she had just reunited with Baal, her centuries old enemy.
He had tried to hold it off for as long as he could but he always knew that he would eventually give in. Spectra was way too alluring for any man to hold off for that long.
As his mind wandered off for a second, Spectra smiled at his face, seeing the thoughts dance through his handsome features and cold blue eyes.
"Did you have a change of mind?" she whispered, using that teasing tone of hers again.
Lancet's eyelids lifted as his eyes met with hers. He gazed into her with a cold look on his face, almost like her teasing had no more effect on him. Or he was simply tired of it.
