Chapter 7
The next day, Cassian and Auralia were heading out when they met Mr Brooks. He spotted his wound and asked what the cause was. She explained everything to him about how she was kidnapped, and Cassian was the one who saved her. Mr Brooks thanked Cassian for saving her and asked him to pay him back on her behalf. Cassian asked Mr Brooks who he was to her. He replied saying he considers her as a little sister and tries to reach out to grab her hand Cassian then pulls her back and tells him she's my girl now and from now on she is none of her concern Mr Brooks tried to confirm and ask Auralia and she said yes and has decided to go back to River City with him so she can't go back to school. She told him she was sorry for the trouble she had caused him. Mr Brooks asked what about his brother Stan. Is she just going to abandon him here? She told him Cassian had already taken him back to River City, so now she can get to visit him whenever she wants and still go to school. So now, Mr. Brooks, you don't have to worry about my brother and me anymore, and they're left. He was so pained and asked her why she wouldn't rely on him instead Auralia told him in her heart that he would always remain a brother and left.
At the new hospital, she was told her brother is responding to the treatment faster but he's still not fit for the surgery. They are trying traditional medicine for treatment. The doctor left, and Auralia told her brother that this time it was Cassian who helped them. She owed him a lot, and from now on, she promised to stay by his side. She received a call to report to school immediately and come to her office right away. Her distant uncle is looking for her. At school, Auralia went to meet her lecturer when she saw Sterling Cassian's P. A was the one who came and pretended to be her distant uncle. Sterling was sent by Cassian to go stand in for her. Sterling told Auralia's teacher that she had gone to her hometown, which was why she skipped school. The teacher said next time she should ask permission first, and for the classes she missed this month, she will find someone to help her catch up. Sterling thanked her. The teacher added that Cassian donated a library to their school, and it's truly an honor. After the meeting sterling told Auralia it was Cassian who asked him to find a way to get her back to school because she had missed a lot of classes and for that, he even donated a library she was so shocked that Cassian had that amount of money sterling told her he is really rich and from the Archer family. After Sterling left, Nora came to meet and told her about Cassian's donation, and it was actually not one but two rather to their School, and their principal specifically asked her to send him flowers. At the principal's office, Auralia wasn't dressed fancy enough. She was told to go home and change before the opening ceremony began, when Rue walked in and requested to do it instead because it might waste time for her to go back dressed and come back, and they accepted.
