Lily's perspective:
There are three kinds of people in this world. These are people who hide under a mask to protect themselves. Then there are people who observe from the side lines as if they don't care. Finally the people that carry the hearts out are ones with the most disadvantage.
Because they approach everything carefree they can get betrayed or worse get manipulated without realising it. These people are also the most dangerous due to their hearts. Because when they are pushed further down the drain, they close any hole the other person has opened.
And my question is who is Rial really?
First of all he doesn't come in any category I just said. He is always there yet sometimes absent. He knows more than he lets on and yet he doesn't open his heart out. He watches without being seen and he has many connections too. He had gained access to the queen's private office for a meeting. I wonder what is deep in his head.
I don't know but he seems familiar, to the stance that I already know his habits of him watching videos while eating. Or taking showers of different temperatures of the day.
Cold in the morning and hot in the evening. He didn't tell me yet I knew immediately and he knows me just as well. I wonder is it, he that I am probing for.
Maybe or maybe not, but one thing is for certain, this is not our last time that we could meet. Maybe somewhere in the future we'd meet again.
Rial's perspective:
It has been 2 hours since we had the conversation with the king. I also found out that there was once a maid here who worked explicitly for the king. About 3 years ago the maid disappeared from the castle without a trace. Apparently nobody knew where she went but sources say she was last seen with the queen Cecilia. Her name is Abigail, they also said she grew up along with the king but they had no romantic feelings. No romantic feeling that was met for each other.
They were just close friends who were close to each other. Then why did she leave without telling his Majesty. Or was she kidnapped. The fact that no one was leave was really strange. She had no lover and the castle paid good so why would she leave. I guess I will find out in a minute. At the moment I am on my way with Rui walking to the queen's office.
Lily and Charlotte would be waiting for us there.
"Hey what is this about again?" Rui asked in confusion, he wasn't filled in with the current situation yet.
"You said you wanted to be king someday huh. This is your chance to get some advice from someone experienced through two kingdoms."
"That makes sense I guess."
We walked to the front of the office and knocked the frame gently. The voice that would be heard from the outside said:
"Come in you two."
"Thank you, your Mistress."
"You are welcome kids."
"So these are the boys you talked about right," she talked like she owns the world. Her voice was loud, odd and distressing.
"We are here to ask questions," Rui said.
"About what... my wonderful children," her voice this time sounded genuine but if you looked into the depth of her eyes. You could easily see that she was faking everything. "I love children so don't be bothered by my words", she said again.
"No I was just a bit surprised," I said.
"Then what brings you here."
"I came to ask about a missing person. Who went missing about 3 years ago?"
"Do you have a name I could use to identify." She said that while knowing exactly who I am talking about.
"I believe her name was Abigail and a childhood friend of your husband his majesty."
"Abigail huh... well I am sorry but I know nothing about disappearance." She said that without giving the slightest care in the world.
"But I only heard you were with her the day she went missing and was the last person she saw when she got missing." The statement came directly from Lily's mouth, which even made the queen step back.
"We were talking about life and it's problems so there won't be anything wrong right."
Well you love the king but he clearly doesn't so why are you hiding it. Her voice sound disturb but still she kept playing the game.
"Mrs mistress... how do you manage a kingdom on your own. Because I know sometimes his majesty isn't there always?"
"Well the first step to that is to be strong internally and not to drop your guard no matter what the situation is."
Lily's perspective:
So that is the way to defeat her. Should I try or should I just wait and see.
Hmm
I will just wait but I will still plan the seeds now.
"Well your mistress how did you and the majesty come to be?"
"We met at a festival. Fell badly in love and decided to get married." She said all this with confidence.
"Then why don't you and his majesty share the same stage in crowds or live under the same roof."
"I don't know what you are talking about." The queen seemed annoyed at my question.
Just one more seed.
"His majesty didn't call you his lover only his wife. Which is just a title of honour but don't mind me I am just joking." She said that while smiling at her and when I said I was joking for a second she seemed relieved.
"Well thank you your mistress, I think I might have come to a conclusion to the problem." Rial said while looking at her with his calm face.
"Good, make sure to inform me when you are done."
"I will inform the king first then if it is possible then I will inform you." Rial said.
"And why is that?"
"The king must hear it first because he requested it from him." I said while trying to shift her attention to me.
"Oh... is that so, then do your best." She said.
"Thank you for the advice your mistress," Rui said said as we were about to walk out.
"No problem."
Rial's perspective"
"What was that about,"Rui asked.
"I just wanted answers and I got them and you got yours right."
"Why were you probing her for answers that way?"
"When the time is near you will know."
