I woke up, met by the bright blue sky and shining rays of the sun. I rubbed my eyes and yawned. Why am I outside? Was I too drunk that I didn't make it home? Ah hell, I might have things stolen from me.
I sat up and rubbed my neck, I don't feel any hangover that's rare. I looked around... I am, I am in a forest. I am in a damn forest!
"Waaah!" I started freaking out
How the hell did I end up in a forest!? I am not that crazy when I am drunk! I heard snoring beside me, it was a classmate of mine, Jayden.
"Oi, wake up!" I shrugged his body, he doesn't wake up "Oiiii, earth to Jayden, wake u-!"
Jayden suddenly slapped the shit out of me hard, making me fly and landed to the ground hard. He finally woke up, yawning and conscious.
"Why is my alarm so different today?" Jayden stood up and stretched "Why do I feel breezy in my room? I felt like I can't feel my bed. Oh man, I was so wasted last night"
Jayden looked around

"Am I... In a forest?"
Red veins formed on the side of his eye. He run up to me on the ground ang lifted me up by my clothes.
"Where the hell did you lead us to!?" He shouted to my face
"What are you talking about?"
"Last night you said you will carry me home so I said yes but somehow we ended up here!"
I processed what happened last night
"Yow, Mathew, lead us home"
Wait a minute "No, you are the one who said I will lead us home!" I replied
"S-so, what's this then?"
He let me go and started looking around. I stood up and patted the dust off my clothes and tried to remember what happened last night.
"This doesn't look like the average forest outside the city. Don't tell me you wandered us too far off!"
"Shh shh, I am trying to remember"
"How can you remember things when you are drunk?"
"My memory and mind is fresh when I am drunk. Remember when we got drunk with your girlfriend and others?"

"We walked through an alleyway"

"And we walked on a crossroad, and suddenly, I saw bright lights. It was a car going right at us"

"I don't remember much what happened but I regained my conscious and saw the car crashed on a nearby wall"

"The driver was bleeding and not moving but I remember shouting 'Ha! That's what you get for driving over us!' and then I blacked out"
"I don't know what is your mind googly googling right now but you are making up stories like look, we are alive, moving and talking"
"No really, that is the only thing I can remember"
"You know what, nevermind. Let's just get out of this place and go home"
"But what direction?"
"You lead us to this place so you take us out of here"
"Fine, I will guess south since I have a good feeling about it. Okay let's go"
Jayden followed behind me, walking through the forest. He was right, this doesn't look like fhe average forest outside the city. New kinds of bushes and trees we have never seen before, felt like magical, and last of all, more fantasy.
"This doesn't look good" Jayden muttered
A bush in front of us suddenly started moving and shook wildly, Jayden and I stopped.
"What was that?"
A green small thing came out of the bush, something ugly. It is bald, green skin, long pointed ears, crooked teeth, small nearly the height up to our knees, it has a tattered little clothing covering it's lower body like a skirt. There is a dagger on its hand made out of bone.
"Is that a goblin?" I muttered out loud
"I dunno, maybe it is a kid that wants to play. Or maybe just cosplaying"
"Impossible, Halloween will be in 6 months"
I went near the kid "Hey there little buddy, is it Halloween already? I am not sure why are you alone here but can you lead us back to the city?"
The kid suddenly started talking gibberish words with a scrappy voice and a menacing smile "Urihahaha! Ackaka ugr, ugrrrrr!"
It suddenly launched at us with it's dagger.
"Woah!"
Jayden and I got startled and jumped out of the way. A cut was made on my cheek.
"That is no ordinary dagger!" I said as a wiped and looked at my blood on my hand
"I don't think it is playing Mathew!"
I looked at Jayden's situation, he is trying to dodge every attack of the little piece of shit.
"I think it is a real goblin like that goblin NTR thing you made me watch, Mathew do something!"
"Okay okay don't bring that up. I thought goblins are mythical creatures and just in fictions"
"I don't care as long as this thing stops!"
"Try to take the dagger from him" I shouted
Jayden kicked the dagger from its hand, making it slide towards me. Okay, I said take the dagger from him but he just gave it to me.
I picked it up "Ha! I got your dagger, come and get it!"
The goblin was confused as he looked for his dagger in his hands. He looked at me noticing the dagger in my hands and screeched.
"Achachachacha!"
It jumped and cling on my face "Waaaah! It's on my face and it stinks!"
It raised it's right hand, revealing it's sharp brown dirty claws. In panick, I punched it on the head hard, making it flew to the ground.
"Ha! That's what you get!"
The goblin stood up and ran away, retreating.
"Ha! Ran away you little shit!"
"There goes you 'Ha''s again. And by the way, something isn't right here"
"What's that?" I asked
He spun me around and started pushing me, continuing the adventure "I can't explain but let's comtinue. I am not sure if my guts is right and that thing might call for friends so let's get out of this area"
We continued walking deeper and deeper, until we finally got out. There is a wooden table, and long seats like a resting place. A big old tree standing beside it, a wooden swing was installed on it's branches.
"Huh, who made these"
We approached it, but suddenly, we were met by a vast grassy land. There is a huge castle on the distant below. It looked like old-fashioned, tall walls of cobblestone, a large wooden gate and a big city inside.
"Wooaaah" Jayden and I were in amazement
Vast mountains, birds flying on the sky, somehow the wind suddenly shifted, making the vibe more epic.
"I think we were too drunk that we made it back on time" I muttered
Jayden made me faced him and put his hands on my shoulder.
"I think I know what is happening right know" he said
"What?"
"You know that story-driven RPG game YOU play? The one that I only played for a while because RPG games is not my thing?"
"Yeah so?"
"You know the story of the MC right?"
"Yeah, he got reincarnated and was teleported to a fantasy world, the king said he will travel west to find and save the princess so he travelled and travelled and travelled the vast lands. Yeah I can't believe the developers made that big map. But yeah he do some side-quest, going to a bar full of sexy ladies, asked around for the Princess' whereabo-"
"I don't care the rest, our word is reincarnated, it is the popular genre of TV shows we watch. You know how you get reincarnated right?

Jayden turned around "What?"
"Nevermind, then that means our wish got real"
"Huahahahahaha!" Jayden laughed his voice out "I got reincarnated to such a beautiful world! Now I don't have to see my ex again!"
Jayden really want to get reincarnated that bad before. I smirked, I also really want to get reincarnated to have a new life.
"Huahaha Huahahahaha!" We laughed out in sync

"So our plan is to join a guild so we can do some missions or 'task' they say so we can earn some money, buy ourselves some food and an inn to shelter in. The rest is... I don't know, we will see" I said
"But what if it's different in this world?" Jayden asked
There goes is boring voice and face again.
"Then let's make a plan B"
There were guards guarding the wide open entrance, holding long spears.
"Go talk them out"
Jayden really wants me to go first in this kind of situation.

As we went near, the guards touched each other's spears, blocking the entrance.
"I hope they speak english" I whispered
"Hello yound lads, what is your purpose in this kingdom?"

I walked forward and cleared my throat "Hello sirs, we hereby came to this kingdom to seek shelter because we were lost off track in the forest. I can't tell where we are right now but we beg you to let us shelter in your kingdom"
The guards went into a pause and exchange glances before pulling back their spears.
"You are welcome, we hope you won't bring any troubles in our peaceful kingdom. There is an inn near the plaza, center of the city. Just ask around"
The guard on the right noticed my wound on the cheek.
"Is that wound of yours okay young lad?"
"Oh right"
My blood already flown down to my neck. I was not sure why Jayden didn't remind me about it.
"Yeah we encountered a... Uh, a goblin on the way. You know, tiny green things"
"They say goblin's are growing around the forest nowadays, probably those camps. I hope someday they will solve that problem"
"Yeah, nice meeting you by the way"
We went inside the city as I grin in victory and gave Jayden a flashy thumbs-up.
"You really have a charisma in you" he muttered
"You noticed that? We both suddenly just stopped talking in formal old english. I hope they didn't notice that"

Jayden and I walked through the road, it was lively, the road was the cleanest road I have ever seen, people on the sidewalk, people sitting on a bench and talking to each other, carrying baskets full of fruits, old fashioned clothes, beds and pots of flowers, bakery shops, restaurants, it's like our world but very old-fashioned.
Excitement grew in me, I can't believe this is all real, not a dream, not a simulation, everything is real. I noticed a building with a sign hanging written 'Guild'. Jackpot!
"There, we found it" I pointed "Let's go in"
Before I could open the door, Jayden grabbed me by the shoulder, stopping me. I can hear a lot of people inside.

"It's just... Kinda feel embarrassing, let me get a hold on my self"

We went in, we were met by a flood of people. The place was loud, laughters, talking, drunkards touched each other's wooden drinks up in the air like a high five, people crowding a board full of pinned written papers.
We went straight to the counter, there is a quiet beautiful woman behind the counter with hazelnut hair and eyes, green and white clothes, just standing there and smiling.
"Go talk to her" I said to Jayden
"What? No you go"

"Atleast try something by yourself once. You can't be like that forever"

I followed behind Jayden to the counter.
"Greetings!" The woman greeted us "My name is Halia, what can we do for you?"
Jayden pointed his finger at me "My friend here has a crush on you"
A vein popped on my head, this guy really really don't want to do something for himself.
"Nah nah" I stepped in and patted Jayden as I talk, eyes twitching "We came here to join the guild. My friend is just messing with me"
Halia giggled "You know I am actually free"

"S-so, uhh, can we join the guild?"
"Of course, you can see me many times as you want. If you are still single I can fill you up"
The woman made a kiss, making a floating heart up in the air between us with a beautiful lovely smile. She is actually interested on me!
I noticed Jayden looking away, hiding his laugh. Oh yeah?.
"Oh wow, Jayden's girlfriend kissed another guy in front of him and forgot about it. Talking about getting cheated on-"
Jayden suddenly covered my mouth.

Halia giggled "Okay boys calm down, let's get to business"
Jayden pulled his hand away "Do not talk mention it!"

"So to join a guild, you need 80 gold coins for the joining fee"
Uh-oh, I searched around my pockets, nothing.
Jayden looked at me "Looks like you fucked up"
Suddenly, someone slammed a clinking small sack on the counter.
"I would pay for this two young lad's" an old voice
We looked, it was a small old man wearing a blue cloak wearing it's hoodie on.
"Oh, uhh, thank you kind sir but we will earn the money ourselves"
"No, take it as my good samaritan"
"Your joining fee is paid" The woman took the small sack of money
"Wait what"
I looked back at the old man, he was gone beside me. He was already walking out towards the exit.
"Th-thank you kind sir. I hope we can repay you someday" I yelled out
I am not sure if he heard that but atleast I thanked him.
"You both have finally joined the guild. As a member of the guild, you both can either be at the same team or separate"
"Same team" we both said at the same time
"Okay, now assign who will be the team leader. The person who will lead the team, prevent conflicts from your team, and make decisions. You can welcome any people to join your party or banish someone in your party"
Jayden and I looked at each other.
"You will be the team leader" I said first
"No, you will be the team leader"
"Remember school? I can't lead a team, it was embarrassing. I have never seen you lead so you try it"

"Well then, write your name here" Halia instructed as she tapped on the underline under the word 'Leader'
I took the quill, dipped the tip in the bottle of ink like what I watched in the movies and wrote my name.

"So now you have a team, of course you also need a team name or title"
"I see, so, what do we call our team?" I asked Jayden
"Hmmm, I can't think of any"
"How about Team Douchebags?"

"Team Douchebag it is" Halia started writing it on the title

She didn't listen and continued writing it in.
"I want to change that!"
Jayden slapped and rubbed his face downwards.
"Now, names of the crew who will be joining the party which will be you. Write your name here"
"Hey! Are you listening to me!? I want to change our team name!" I yelled at her as Jayden wrote his name, she ignored me

"And now the team is fully formed, here are your guild cards. You will start in Rank F to start with easy task to be given to you. You will need it at all times to show it to us. Without it, you can't be given any task or pay for another card"
She gave us shiny dark red cards that looked so luxurious. My info is already in there.
"You can now be given task and earn rewards. To not get confused by your role for the team, you can either be a knight, assasin, mage, or a marksman. You can ask more details from the blacksmith shop nearby. So, any questions?"
