Short white hair, dark red eyes, sharp teeth, an outfit that stopped just at the level of her navel and a very short little skirt, and over it all a large white cape
that didn't seem to be attached to anything, as if it were floating around her. The girl, her arm raised toward the sky with a magic staff bearing a blue crystal, declared with great pride:
— You bunch of larvae, who do you think you're dealing with? I am the one and only supreme mistress of water magic on the entire continent. I am the greatest magician in history. I am the most beautiful and cutest woman in the whole world. I am the daughter of the great mage and Count Liner. Yes, you guessed it, I am the one and only "Lily Lulu Roupi Roman Sol Liner." How dare you attack me, you ignorant and repulsive fools!
Even Gabriel, who was watching the scene while hidden in his corner, was greatly surprised by the girl's audacity, and the same went for her attackers, who stood there dumbfounded as she smiled proudly.
Most of the attackers were stunned by the girl's bold introduction, but their leader remained calm and impassive.
— So what? he retorted.
— So what? Now is the moment for you to run away with your tails between your legs.
"Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!"
Once again, the armed men burst out laughing, mocking the young girl. Their leader slid his tongue over his thumb with a lecherous look as he eyed her from head to toe.
— Run away with our tails between our legs? Hahaha! He laughed loudly while shaking his head. That tail, we're gonna shove it into you instead, hahaha! replied the bandit.
— I warned you! the girl snapped back.
— Alright, grab me that dreamy little brat.
At his order, three of the men rushed at the girl, who began spinning her magic staff confidently. She then created three small water blades using the raindrops, before piercing the chests of the three attackers, who collapsed to the ground, pissing blood.
Seeing three of his warriors fall, the leader snapped his fingers and drew a sword that transformed into three long, flexible blades. These blades were as sharp as the wind and moved like serpents. Without the slightest hesitation, he struck. His blades crashed down on the young girl like thunder, but she leaped into the air effortlessly to avoid them. From above, she could see her beautiful carriage split into three pieces.
Taking advantage of her height, she cast her water spell again, creating several blades that she hurled like rain at her enemies. But the leader swept away her attacks with his three blades which, stretching outward, moved above their heads to repel each blade, while the girl landed outside the circle formed by her opponents.
— Haha, you bunch of idiots! Do you really think you can stand up to me? I'll crush you! she threatened while spinning her staff once more.
A rope of water swirled around the staff, slicing through the falling raindrops. The girl smiled and suddenly stopped her movement, pointing her staff toward the attackers. But before she could do anything, their leader launched his assault. He attacked with his three blades, moving as fast as serpents as they lunged at the enemy.
The girl had no choice but to jump into the air to avoid the attack, which looked as though it split the very raindrops due to how fluid and well-controlled it was. But no sooner had she landed than the man rushed her again with the same strike. She dodged to the right but was still wounded on the hand by one of the three blades.
She crouched for a moment and checked her wound near her left shoulder. The attackers seized that chance and all lunged at her at once, trying to cut her down. Then, without them even seeing it happen, one of the seven attackers was sliced in half from head to toe. His blood sprayed under the rain before his body fell in two pieces before the cold and disdainful gaze of a mere traveler.
Gabriel, who had decided to step in.
The remaining attackers and their leader stepped back a few paces, doubling their vigilance.
— Who the hell are you? the leader asked.
— Me? Just a traveler passing by, the young man replied.
— Then you'd better keep walking and not interfere in what doesn't concern you.
— Normally, I would, but ten grown men ganging up on a little girl… isn't that a bit unfair? he mocked lightly.
— You damn fool! You'll regret this, the leader said when—
— Hey, you there! said the little girl, pointing at her savior.
— Huh? Me? he replied.
— Yes, you! the girl insisted. Who are you calling a little girl? she demanded in an irritated, almost furious tone.
— Well, do you see two of them here?
— Haaa, you stupid little virgin idiot! I'm older than you, first of all! And what the hell are you doing? I can totally handle them on my own!
Gabriel looked the girl up and down and made an expression already tired of what was about to begin.
— Poor little thing, fear's already making you hallucinate, he said.
— What?! How dare you disrespect me! I am the one and only great and majestic—
— We don't care! If you're that strong, take care of the five lackeys. I'll handle their leader. And whoever beats their target first owes the other an apology.
— What?! the girl exclaimed with an outraged expression.
Gabriel wasted no time and immediately took an attack stance, targeting the leader of the attackers. The latter also assumed a combat position and looked far more serious.
— Manifest yourself… King of Vipers, he whispered to his weapon.
The three-bladed sword transformed into three snakes that the man controlled as he prepared for a merciless assault.
Meanwhile, the girl watched Gabriel's back as the five remaining attackers faced her, ready to fight.
— Hmph, she muttered. Fine, as you wish! I accept the challenge! she said while removing a ring from her index finger. Now, let's get serious.
The moment she removed the ring, an overwhelmingly powerful and brutal blue magical energy burst from the girl's body in successive shockwaves. The five men facing her trembled as the little girl smiled… trying to hide the mischief dwelling on her face.
Weapons were drawn.
Decisions were made, and rage rekindled.
The battle promised to be bloody.
