Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Rebirth of Shadows

The last thing he remembered was the cold steel of betrayal, the burning pain, and the darkness swallowing him whole. He had died once, defeated by those he trusted, abandoned on the battlefield where the sky had burned red with fire.

And yet… he opened his eyes.

The world was quiet. Warm sunlight filtered through the window of a small room, dust motes dancing in the golden rays. His body felt… young. Unscarred. Alive.

"Impossible…" he whispered, staring at his hands, flexing his fingers. The memories of his past life—every battle, every betrayal, every death—rushed back like a torrent.

A soft hum filled the air, and suddenly, a translucent interface appeared before him, floating in the sunlight. Two glowing panels shimmered, each radiating a strange, otherworldly energy.

Panel One – Necromancer System

Status: Active

Skills: Summon Undead, Shadow Manipulation, Soul Absorption

Panel Two – Growth System

Status: Active

Function: Amplifies existing skills, unlocks hidden potential, evolves abilities

His breath caught. Two systems. The first, the power he had mastered in his previous life. The second, a mysterious new force—an opportunity to become stronger than he had ever imagined.

A spark of determination lit in his chest. His eyes, normally brown, glowed faintly purple, the mark of the necromancer's power awakening. Shadows in the corner of the room twisted and coalesced into skeletal hands, bowing in silent respect.

"So… this is my second chance," he muttered, voice low and firm. "And I won't waste it."

Before he could gather his thoughts, the Growth System activated, flooding his mind with knowledge. Spells, techniques, and combat strategies he had never seen before poured into his consciousness. His Necromancer skills evolved instantly—his Shadow Manipulation sharpened, his Summons stronger, faster, more lethal.

A sudden scream ripped through the air from outside. A villager, cornered by a wild beast, desperate and terrified.

His first trial.

He extended a hand, and shadows leapt from his body, forming a skeletal warrior. Its bones glowed faintly purple, mirroring the energy coursing through him. With a swift strike, the undead soldier tore through the beast with precision and power.

The Growth System's aura pulsed brighter with each strike, amplifying both his summon and his own magical strength. Every motion, every absorption of life force, every battle instinct reinforced the synergy between his Necromancer System and Growth System.

He felt it—his power growing, evolving, limitless potential stretching before him. The boy he once was had returned, but now he carried the experience, rage, and skills of a life already lived… multiplied by systems beyond imagination.

A small, sinister smile curved his lips.

"This time… I won't be weak. I won't be betrayed. And those who wronged me…" His eyes blazed. "…will kneel before the true Dual System Necromancer."

Outside, the village had no idea that a new shadow had risen—a necromancer reborn, stronger than ever, and ready to reshape his fate.

And this was only the beginning.
