In a resort in Samal Islands,Philippines
Achilles was talking in Bisaya to some of his Friends as they are having coffee and seems to be playing with their Laptops.
"Achilles! Hey!' said Minerva. His friends looks at Minerva. Achilles looks back. He says something as he goes to Minerva.
"Where is Dad?" asked her. "I don't know. Merv, I'm playing with my college friends! Geez." Said Achilles. "Okay fine! Geez!" said Minerva as Marshal was walking by a shop. He sees a dinosaur wooden keychain. He touches it and giggles. Minerva goes to him.
"Oh,Merv. What would Rex would like better? This Red one or this Black one?" asked him. She giggles as she remembers the past where his dad was furious when He found out that Minerva was pregnant.
He sees a Yellow Dinosaur Keychain with Green eyes. She smiles and say, "I just, never imagined that, you became a dotting Grandfather to Rex nor Mars, I mean, Mars is obvious, he's a softie when he comes to me and siblings." Said Minerva. "I never imagined too. I was furious that time that you almost, throw everything for a soldier-boy." Said by him. She freezes. "Never met that man, but, it seems Rex's dad , quite a charmer, looking at his son,well, My genes do the heavy lifting still." Boasted Marshal.
Later at night
Achilles looked saddened while swimming on the pool as Marshal keeps on talking,"Boy! You will be joining us once you graduate. I don't , care,if you like Art,painting, blah blah blah. I'm not going to spoil you like your mother." Said Marshal in strong intimidating tone.
"Dad, stop bullying your son." Said Minerva. "Yeah, shut up!" said Marshal. Minerva calls someone on the phone. She puts it in loudspeaker.
"Hello babygirl! Is your Dad bothering you and your brother again?" asked her. "Anya! This is talk between men. Just this ones! I am shaping our son to be a man." Said by him.
"Marshal. Reserve that back at home, don't spoil the fun! Babygurl, as usual… your dad needs coffee that's why he's irritable. As usual, caramelized the sugar first then add coffee." Said by her.
"Yes Mother." Replied Minerva.
"Marshal! Take 5. I will be talking to our Babyboy." Replied Anya.
Marshal grumpily goes inside. Achilles goes to the table as Minerva gives him the phone.
"Babyboy. Look it the other way. Your dad was just happy that you will join him in the company, you rejecting it angers him." Said Anya.
"I know. I just. I want to be more of a painter than a businessman." Replied Achilles.
"Shhhh, this is a secret. Your Biglion(Mars) is building a studio, so, make an Recognizable Penname, coz, he will put your atworks on it. The Oldlion(Marshal) doesn't know it, but when he does, it will be…too late." Said Anya as she laughs evilly.
They laugh. "But Babyboy, your dad is just… he just shows love differently okay… like that anime you watch, We watch, he's a tundere." Said Anya as he and Achilles laughs.
"Babygirl." Said Anya.
"Yes Mother." Replied Minerva.
"You too, your Dad loves you and your twin so much, he's just… full of expectations. Even your Biglion too. Goodness, you should have met Ares! He's a charmer! In a way, he kind of have the same mannerism as like my T-Rex. They are Playing in the pool with Mars." said Anya as a splashing sound was heard. "Mars! Quite cannonballing! You are hitting my phone!" said Anya. "Uhm, here you go madam." Said Ares.
Minerva froze. It really was Ares. His voice. That very voice as she remembers.
"Uhm, Sees, you okay?" asked Achilles.
"Oh Ares! Meet my youngest, Achilles! Wait! I will video call!" said Anya as the line cuts.
"I got to go, give dad his coffee." Said Minerva. Achilles Phone rings. He takes it and put the other phone down.
In the Video call
"Hey!" said Achilles to them.
"Ares, this is my newer Babyboy, Achilles! Achilles! This is your brother's boyfriend!" said Anya.
"Hey! We're both blonde!" said Achilles. "Yes! But your hair is a bit darker blond like Rex's." said Achilles as Ares Carries Rex to his shoulder.
"Uncle Achie!" said Rex. "T-rex! Oh! Next month, I will bring you some souvenirs, especially, Dinosaurs!" said Achilles.
Mars joins them in the video call
"Bigbro. Mom told me the secret studio." Said Achilles. "Mother! I told you to keep it a secret!" said Mars. They giggle. "Come on! It's your graduation gift to your baby brother." Said by her.
"Surpirse, I guess?" said Mars as he carries Rex to his shoulder. "Sow Uncle Achie your roar that Ares told you!" said Mars. "ROAAAR!"said Rex as he makes a small baby monster like sound.
Achilles looked curious. "That's no longer a human Roar! Ares, what did you taught him?" asked Achilles. Ares Roars like a monster. "Oh, my gush. You could be a voice actor!" said Achilles. Ares and Rex roars.
Inside the Resort
"Come on dad." Said Minerva. He rolls his eyes and say, "Fine. I'll reserve it when we return." Replied her dad as she gives him coffee. He sips, putting a smile in his face. "Your mother gives the best coffee in the world. I mean, she maybe not your biological mother, but still." Said by him as Minerva hugs his dad.
Minerva releases him as she looks at Achilles in the pool, being rowdy with his phone. She looks down, and smile softly.
"Dad, maybe, at least give him a leigh way. He's been,pressured for having very gifted siblings you know, Mars, me and my twin, Mom, you…" said Minerva.
"Merv, we talk about this before. I don't want us to fight because of dreams. Imagine, you,want to leave us and be That Soldier boy's farmer wife. Cabin by the sea. Simple life. Please… You are, way too…gifted to be normal." Replied her dad as he sips coffee.
"I know. It's just." Said Minerva as she holds her shoulder and add, "Maybe I will reserve it once we go back home." Said Minerva. Achilles goes inside to his room."You're right, no drama. No this,no that.. Reserve back home." Said Marshal as he sips his coffee again. Minerva was thinking far away, long ago. On the What if…
She never left, maybe she is happier. Then she takes her phone, look at the Picture of Ares as a soldier and her in the disco bar, where they are kissing, and erase it.
