Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Vital told Luzbell:

- Humans, surprising beings; In my memory there are similar beings in other of my now disappeared worlds; However, everyone has something good and something bad inside them, although there are some more bad than others, and the opposite of that; This is one of the reasons why worlds with individuals like these need balance, they need to respect the difference between them and us.

They continued walking. The name of that majestic being who kept her company kept echoing in Luzbell's mind; she knew she had heard it in the past.

Suddenly, Vital Mertiel with his index finger created a small sphere of energy, which he called Lucero, he threw it at Luzbell when they were in an open space, and Luzbell invoked a sacred weapon, calling it by the name of Lusant, with which he blocked the energy sphere, which exploded upon contact with the edge of the sword and the energy generated was divided in two different directions without harming its target, until it disappeared.

Faced with such an action, Vital only let out a childish laugh as if what he had done was a simple prank.

(Luzbell)(The past)

How had it arisen? It was a mystery, even to himself. He only remembered how as a child he walked through the heavenly palace, a place with imposing white pilasters, dazzling walls due to the gold that covered them, the furniture that was in the palace in addition to its pleasant fragrances had beautiful carvings, and many other things worthy of the place they represented.

As a child, he liked to walk through the gardens, which were outside the palace, since there were many wonderful beings that lived in them.

He remembered Arden, one of the heavenly princes, who was young at that time, but he was his friend, a powerful being worthy of the position assigned to him, despite his youth.

Arden always had time to play and talk with him, and even tell stories on various topics; When the two were already entering maturity, Luzbell was respected as much or even more than the leader of the heavenly princes himself, since he always had permission to go before the presence of his father, the Haughty One, and he received him with love. Father and son were talking as they walked through the immense garden. The wisdom that the celestial young man was achieving was increasing. Everything seemed to be going very well.

The unknown that presented such greatness was:

What place should a being as majestic as this occupy? In that place, if there was something non-existent, it was bad feelings. Everyone knew what they were destined for, what place they occupied in such a divine world; However, Luzbell was beginning to lose his bearings.

In that palace was the sacred library, in which there were three books prohibited for celestials without rank. One was about the ten sacred weapons created by the Haughty one, the second was about the ranks above the celestial princes, and the last was about a being called Vital Mertiel.

This last book was the most important of all, but so were its restrictions even for the heavenly princes, who had to have acquired great wisdom to obtain permission from the Haughty One to read them. As he was one of those who spent the most time in the sacred library, he had come to know about the existence and importance of these forbidden books, and that was how he heard the name Vital Mertiel for the first time.

The desperate desire of this celestial young man to feed his wisdom led him to want to know the content of these books, so much so that he went before his father and asked for his permission, and he told him:

-You are not ready, you are just a simple celestial, you are also very young, and despite your wisdom, you are susceptible to confusion, your ideas will become clouded and when you want to return to your path, it will be very difficult for you to find it, and I do not want that to happen to you, my beloved son.

Upon hearing these words coming from his father, Luzbell felt an emptiness inside him, something inexplicable to him, he considered that everything he had worked for was worthless, he only remembered with great pain the words, "you are just a simple celestial." He thought it wasn't fair, that he deserved more, so he decided to leave to go to the Inferuz, with the aim of becoming stronger. A place that he knew through one of the most relevant books in the sacred library, but which was below the prohibited books.

Inferuz, was what was known as the place opposite the wonderful Eden created by the Haughty One, it was a dark place full of titanic beasts, with different powers, some with the only instinct to kill and survive, others, the most fearsome, were the Daisant, beings with the capacity for reasoning, but sadistic, they hated any being that did not belong to that place, these were hierarchically divided into four different ranks and all had many creatures that They served them as slaves and warriors. The Inferuz caused so much fear, to which only the aspirants to celestial princes could enter, after having passed all the tests that were previously requested of them, that was one of the reasons why these princes were respected and admired by the other celestials, even so many aspirants declined their aspirations, when they entered the room of the sacred fountain in which the leader of the princes gave the aspirants the water from said fountain to drink in a sacred chalice, created by the Altivo, water that immersed them in a dream, which lasted at least a day, in which they lived a nightmare, they were in the Inferuz, they were attacked by the titanic beasts, other brave men managed to see the silhouettes of the Daisant that left them stunned, and when faced with their death, the celestials remembered that in that place they maintained all their qualities, except the gift of immortality, so when they woke up from such a horrible dream, many in sign Out of respect for the greatest leader of the heavenly army, they bowed and left that room, declining their desire to be princes.

There was also a legend that said that when a celestial began to experience negative feelings, or insubordination, they were exiled and sent to this place. The book does not mention the origin of the place, since that story was mentioned in the most important of the three banned books.

To reach the Inferuz you had to cross all of Eden, and reach a cavern that was the entrance to this world of shadows.
