Ren went to the forest again and this time, with the permission of his parents. They granted him protection spell just in case. He immediately went to the forest and into the nearby tribes.
He scanned the vicinity and felt faint sounds of a skirmish. A battle between two.
He followed the sound and then saw battle. One was a kid with a wolf cap and another one was bear cap. They were both young male the same in his age.
The one with the Bear cap had a staff and the wolf one has claw. They both clashed, attacking each other.
Ren hides in the thick bush and observed carefully. He watched with curious though of what would happen between those two. Who will win or who will get beaten to pulp.
It was then, he recognised the two based on their outfits and head caps. Probably, a Lycan and a Druid.
"I'll fight you fair and square," Druin said.
"Nah, no need to hold back. I'm planning to give it my all," Fang replied with a thumbs-down gesture. Druin could only smirk in response.
The two them attacked and both did some close combat. They immediately exchanged blows that made hits each others weapons.
The two exchanged blows from their Martial arts and then it became heated. The two were not giving out from their exchange of blows.
They immediately switched to their job Class after seeing that they were obviously equal in martial arts.
The two sized each other up, cautious not to rush in recklessly. Fang's aura suddenly flared, gushing out from his body as he activated [Beast Aura].
[Beast Aura] – A Lycan skill that heightens instinct, senses, and reaction speed. Currently at White Stage, with increasing power from white, green, yellow, blue, to red.
He crouched like a beast and dashed toward Druin. He was in his fours while dashing towards him and ready to pounce his enemy.
Druin, unfazed, activated [Druidic Rune Armor].
[Druidic Rune Armor] – A protective armor infused with mana. Strengthens as the user grows and regenerates when mana is infused. Usable in both human and transformed forms.
Fang slashed at him with clawed hands, but Druin calmly caught his wrist with ease. Fang spun and kicked him in the face, forcing Druin to release his grip, though the blow didn't leave a mark.
"Hey Fang, is that all you've got?" Druin called out from a few meters away.
"Shut up! I'm not even going full force yet!" Fang snapped back.
Fang then summoned his companions using [Summon Twin Wolves] and [Summon Ravens]
[Summon Twin Wolves] – Summons normal wolves
[Summon Ravens] – Summons normal Ravens
Both were maintained through the caster's mana. They also regenerate by consuming mana.
2 wolves and 2 crows materialized around him.
"Attack!" Fang commanded, pointing toward Druin.
Druin raised his arms and cast his own summoning spells—[Summon Bear] and [Summon Elemental Vines].
[Summon Bear] – A powerful, intelligent bear capable of wearing spirit armor.
[Summon Elemental Vines] – Sentient vines capable of elemental attacks: poison, fire, and ice. Can also bite enemies.
Chaos erupted as the summons collided. Ravens pecked at the vines while the vines retaliated with poisonous spray. The wolves circled the bear, biting at its flanks, but were swatted away by its massive paws. The twin wolves regenerated quickly and lunged again. The bear, sensing the tide turning, donned Spirit Armor, increasing its durability significantly.
Suddenly, Druin transformed. [Shapeshift Werebear] activated.
[Shapeshift Werebear] – Transforms the user into a powerful werebear. Spirit Armor reshapes to fit the new form.
"Fang!" Druin roared.
"Druin!" Fang shouted in return as he activated [Shapeshift Werewolf].
[Shapeshift Werewolf] – Transforms the user into a swift and ferocious werewolf.
The two beasts clashed in the center of the arena, slashing each other across the face. Druin armor absorbed most of the damage. Fang, though lacking armor, was faster, darting around and striking at weak points with precision.
"Is that all you've got!?" Druin growled.
"Rargh! Shut your mouth already!" Fang snarled, slapping him hard across the snout.
They exchanged blows like wild beasts. A heavy paw from Druin knocked Fang several meters away, rolling him across the dirt.
Druin charged again, but Fang stood and retaliated with [Fury].
[Fury] – Slashes the target five times in rapid succession with claws.
The five rapid hits left Druin dazed. He retaliated with [Ground Slam].
[Ground Slam] – A powerful area-of-effect shockwave caused by slamming both hands into the ground. Damage scales with strength.
The ground exploded as the shockwave launched Fang into the air. He tumbled across the forest floor but quickly rolled back onto his feet. Druin advanced again.
Fang slashed at him, and Druin blocked with his bear's paw. Fang's wolves joined the attack, but Druin's vines responded with fire damage, burning the wolves as they fought. The Ravens dove in to support, pecking at the bear. Fang turned his claws on the vines, tearing them apart.
Druin, enraged, swatted down all the Ravens, eliminating them in one clean sweep. Only the bear and the wolves remained, still locked in combat. The two summoners, now focused solely on each other, called their beasts back into formation.
Fang and his wolves lined up. Druin stood beside his bear. The battlefield calmed, but only for a moment.
"I'll defeat you!" Fang shouted.
"Not even in your dreams!" Druin roared back.
They clashed once more, fists and claws flying, teeth bared. Their summons vanished as their time expired, leaving only the two fighters to duke it out.
Both were running low on mana. Their transformations faded. Still, they kept going, throwing tired punches at each other's faces.
Then suddenly, Ren stepped back and accidentally stepped on a dried branch.
Snap!
The two then stopped and gritted their teeth.
"Hey! Show yourself. I know you're hiding in there!" Fang shouted.
"We disliked lurkers the most." Druin added.
Ren then stood up and then raised his hands. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ..."
"It's fine, what's your name?" Fang asked.
"Ren! Ren Griffith. I lived nearby south." Ren said to them.
"Hmm, I see. Well Ren, care to join our spar?" Druin asked.
"Sure!" Ren immediately summoned 5 clones and then the two were shocked. Then afterwards, he copied their class. Making Ren to smirk mischievously.
Right then after, the two became his friends and then everyday, they sparred in the forest. They grew in strength but only Ren grew in numbers. Making him overpowered as he learn Lycan and Druid job Class.
