Chapter 8 - Heavenly Emperor Constitution

George was thinking that he was going to kill it with his bare hands. He imagined himself like the heroes of Marvel and DC.

But when reality kicked in—

Suddenly, the tiger slashed toward him with its claws. At that moment, Bao instructed him to dodge right, and he barely managed to dodge, receiving a small scratch along the way.

Before he could even catch his breath, the tiger jumped at him again. George fell into the mud as the tiger tried to dig its two sword-like teeth into him.

George caught the teeth and started holding them back. His hands started bleeding, but suddenly he grabbed the tiger's jaws from both the upper and lower sides. He didn't know why, but he felt a sudden surge of strength.

At that moment, he broke the tiger's jaw with his bare hands, instantly killing it.

After killing the tiger, George sat down in a lotus position and started meditating. At that moment, his body emitted some energy. He was shocked as he felt himself getting stronger again.

Bao said, "What the heck? You broke through again? You are now at the 3rd stage of the Tempering Realm."

Bao then examined George's body and was completely shocked.

"Holy shit… you actually have the Heavenly Emperor Constitution."

Bao cried out in jealousy, "Heaven is really unfair… really unfair," he said twice, while he was still mumbling to himself.

"Heavenly Emperor Constitution?" George asked curiously.

"Let me explain," Bao said. "In this world, many geniuses appear with vast talent, but many people are also born with special bodies, which give them an enormous boost in cultivation. And the Heavenly Emperor Constitution is the most powerful constitution in this universe."

"It was once owned by the Heavenly Emperor, who ruled over the entire world. But he committed many vile deeds. As a result, Heaven became enraged and killed him."

"You are truly born with heaven-defying luck. I am really jealous," Bao said. "But it is a blessing and a curse at the same time. While you are in this lower world, it may not bring any threat, but once you reach higher worlds, it will bring disaster. So it would be better if you keep it secret as much as you can."

"Also, the Heavenly Emperor Constitution is a constitution that increases your cultivation speed by fifty times."

George was shocked. Fifty times…

"It might not show much result in the lower realms, but once he reached higher realms, it would give him tremendous benefits."

Bao then said, "While you are in it, you should take as much benefit as possible. You should kill more beasts and gain experience. It will also help strengthen your foundation."

George replied, "Okay," and once again went out in search of monsters.

Along the way, he encountered many beasts—bears, snakes, eagles, reindeer, and more. He killed all of them. Although it was difficult and he took many injuries, it was worth it, as he could feel that he was once again on the verge of breaking through.

He sat down and rested for a bit before continuing.

He explored and killed.

He was so deeply immersed in it that he failed to realize he was going deeper and deeper into the forest. Suddenly, he noticed a bear and decided to confront it. But due to his greed for strength, he failed to sense the oddness surrounding the bear.

Bao was also nowhere to be found.

George decided to sneak attack. He sneakily attacked the bear… but to his shock, the bear easily caught his hand and threw him into a tree.

Bang. He felt like some of his bones had broken. Then the bear came toward him, raging like fire. It slashed at him first. He barely dodged, but its nails grazed George. Though barely touched, he was badly injured.

He already knew he couldn't win, so he decided to run. But his hand was already numb, and he was tired from constant fighting. Still, he ran as fast as he could. The bear chased him. Luckily, the bear's speed was not as fast as the tiger's, but George was in no condition to run far.

He also wondered, Where is Bao? Why didn't he warn me?

George ran and ran, trying to hinder the bear with trees and rocks along the way… but it was still fast, gaining on him.

At that critical moment, he stumbled over a rock and fell into the mud. He thought he was done for…

But suddenly, as the bear lunged at him, a lion-like beast came running from nowhere and attacked the bear.

He didn't know what this beast was or why it was fighting the bear, but he seized the chance and started running as far as he could.

After running without stopping even once, he finally reached the city and collapsed instantly onto the road.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself in his bed… and near him, his mother was sitting on the floor, her head resting on the bed—probably asleep.

He again pondered the matters in the forest. After thinking for a while, things started making sense… The bear was probably a spiritual beast, as Bao had warned him about the deeper parts of the forest. The lion-like beast was also likely a spiritual beast.

"If my guess isn't wrong," he thought, "the bear must have trespassed into the lion's territory, which angered it, and that's why it attacked."

He also wondered in his mind, Where the heck is Bao?

Suddenly, a sound of yawning came…

But when he looked at his mother, she was still sleeping.

"What the heck… you've already returned home?" Bao said.

"Sorry, I… I have fallen asleep," Bao said with an awkward reaction dumbfounding George.

"You fucking bastard,Do you know i almost died because of you. "

Bao didn't say anything and only gave an awkward laugh.

George then briefly explained what had happened to him.

Bao mockingly replied, "See? This is what happens when you get greedy. Isn't there a saying—greed brings sin, and sin brings death?"

George grew even angrier, but suddenly he heard a sound.

"My son… my son… please don't leave me…"

It was "George's" mother.

George looked at her and felt pity. Since he was now possessing her son's body, he said softly, out of pity, "Don't worry, Mom. I will never leave you again."

After hearing that, a smile appeared on her sleeping face.

Then George checked his condition and was shocked to find that he was already ninety percent healed. He thought," They must have used some very expensive medicines on me… whatever."

George felt that after surviving this life-and-death situation, he was already close to breaking through to the fourth stage of the Tempering Realm.

So George decided to leave the room to successfully complete his breakthroalone

He left without making a sound. After leaving, he decided to go to a place he had chosen. After walking for ten minutes, he reached a plum blossom tree that was now dry. He could remember from George's memories that whenever he felt sad, he would come here to spend time alone As he didn't like crowds much and this place was most ideal for this situations as it was extremely silent—so silent that even the eerie sound of the slow wind could be heard clearly,it was clam and refreshing this environment was so good that he felt like he will fall asleep. George chose this place so that no one could see him cultivating.

George silently sat down behind the plum blossom tree in a lotus position. It didn't take him much time to break through. After breaking through, he felt refreshed and much stronger.

Then he decided to return home. When he arrived, he found that his mother had already left. He called a servant and told her to relay a message to his mother that he would be leaving tomorrow.

Next day…

"Aha… my son, don't goooo…"

George's mother cried from the pain of being apart from her son.

"Mam, you are the one who told him to go on an adventure, so why this tantrum?"

But she knew all along that she was the obe who had told him to go…

Still, it was his first time going out of the city after that incident. She was also worried about his safety.

Then the servant or warrior again whispered,

"Mam, don't worry. Our best fighters will be there to protect the young master from behind the scenes."

In george's side-

He was on a horse, without carrying any things. He was feeling very sleepy as it was early in the morning and the sun had just risen. If a sudden piece of news hadn't come, he wouldn't have decided to depart this early.

Yesterday —

When the servant relayed the news that George would leave tomorrow, his mother came running.

She was actually shocked. She had only told him to go on an adventure and thought he would take his time to prepare and then leave. But this sudden departure… and his father was also not here.

She came to George and told him to stay for three more days, saying that his father would also return in two or three days.

After hearing that, George's eyes widened. He thought this was a good opportunity.

Before this "father" comes back, I should leave so that I don't have to worry about getting caught.

Back to the present —

George was already leaving. His mother had arranged many spirit stones and a large amount of money for him in a storage ring.

There were also some other things, such as a normal metal sword for basic self-defense, some clothes, food to eat on the way, and a map of the southern region.

After saying goodbye, George didn't wait for long. He hurriedly departed, leaving his mother and the others behind, watching him with worry and sadness.
