The History is divided into four eras:
The Era of Myths
An era predating recorded history, ruled by godlike kings and ancient clans, where existence formed a single, infinite world.
The Era of Walls
The beginning of history itself. Each world became sealed off from the others. Humanity came to worship the Walls, and only a chosen few knew the truth behind them.
The Era of Light
Marked by the first crack in the Walls and the emergence of the first path connecting one world to another. This era saw the beginning of humanity's ascent from world to world.
The Era of the Ascendants
The first arrival at the seventh and final world, heralding the dawn of the Golden Age of the Ascendants.
