Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Alexander woke up feeling like his brain had run a marathon.

"…Mental cultivation is a scam," he muttered, staring at the ceiling.

After lying there for a minute to regain his soul, he called up the system panel.

A translucent screen appeared.

Alexander nodded.

"Looks healthy."

Then his eyes landed on Random Pokémon ×1.

"…System," he asked in his mind, "what's the range for the random lottery?"

System Reply: Host may obtain Pokémon ranging from Common to Ultra Rare, Legendary, or Mythical.

Alexander's breathing slowed.

This was one of those moments.

The kind where fate decided whether you ate instant noodles or dined like a god.

He clasped his hands together.

"…I am sacrificing ten years of Leon Ashford's future marriage happiness for this."

Somewhere in the universe, Leon probably sneezed.

Alexander took a deep breath.

"Draw."

System Notice: Drawing Random Pokémon…

System Notice: Congratulations, Host.

You have obtained: Legendary Pokémon — Dialga

Silence.

Absolute silence.

"…Huh."

Alexander stared at the words.

Then stared harder.

"…My prayer worked?"

He sat there for a full five seconds.

Then another five.

"…Sorry, Leon."

He felt silent pity for the protagonist for approximately three minutes.

After that—

"Yeah, no, don't care."

Alexander leaned back comfortably.

"System, where do I summon it?"

System Reply: Host need not worry. A personal dimensional space has been prepared. Host may summon Pokémon there. The host has full authority and leadership over this space.

"…Of course I do," Alexander nodded. "Take me there."

The world shifted.

System Dimension

Alexander appeared on an endless stretch of land.

No buildings.

No mountains.

No sky decorations.

Just land.

"…Minimalist," he commented.

"Summon Pokémon."

The air distorted.

Time itself seemed to slow.

A massive figure descended—steel-blue armor, glowing lines across its body, and eyes that felt like they had witnessed the birth of the universe.

Dialga.

The Legendary Pokémon bent down slightly, lowering its massive head.

Alexander stepped forward without hesitation and placed a hand against its armor.

"Nice to meet you," he said calmly.

A gentle, feminine voice echoed in his mind.

Greetings… Master.

Alexander blinked once.

"…Female Dialga. Noted."

"You can stay here for now," he said. "I'll prepare things properly later."

Dialga nodded slowly, time rippling faintly around her.

Alexander smiled.

Then the world shifted again.

Back in his room, Alexander sat on the bed.

His heart was calm.

Very calm.

A Level 1 God-tier Legendary Pokémon.

That alone meant—

Even if the world turned hostile tomorrow, he wouldn't be crushed easily.

Leon Ashford might someday reach Level 3 God in the original timeline.

But that's only if he survives, Alexander thought coldly.

"I'll cut off every opportunity you used to step on my family."

Alexander closed his eyes.

This world wasn't a novel anymore.

And the villain—

Was no longer playing his assigned role.
