The morning air was crisp and biting, the kind of cold that usually made people pull their blankets tighter. I didn't have that luxury. Every second of sleep felt like a wasted opportunity for growth.
I woke up at my usual hour, my body already adjusted to the demanding rhythm of my training schedule. After a quick stretch, I stepped into the hallway and knocked firmly on Seojun's and Seohee's doors.
"Time to move," I called, my voice echoing through the quiet corridor.
I went downstairs and waited by the entrance. A few minutes later, Seojun appeared. He looked slightly groggy, but there was determination in his eyes. He was wearing a black tracksuit from my personal collection, and it fit his lean frame well.
Then Seohee came down the stairs.
I had to do a double take.
She was wearing a sleek, form-fitting tracksuit that left nothing to the imagination. The material clung closely to her body, outlining every curve. She looked stunning—effortlessly hot in a way that felt deliberate yet casual at the same time.
She noticed me staring almost immediately and shot me a sharp warning glare.
I coughed and quickly looked away, pretending to focus on the door.
"Right. Let's go," I muttered, clearing my throat as I stepped outside.
We started with some Basic stretching exercises then start with a light run around the perimeter. I kept a steady pace, making sure they focused on breathing rather than speed. After two rounds, Seohee was already gasping for air and had to stop. Seojun held on longer, pushing through five full rounds before his legs finally gave out.
After a short rest, they rejoined me, I told them to breathe from the nose not through the mouth and we continued until the sun began to rise over the horizon.
Once we started cooling down, I spoke again.
"Your father ran an Aikido dojo, didn't he?" I asked. "Do you both know Aikido?"
They nodded. They had grown up in that environment, and the movements were already ingrained in their muscle memory.
"Teach me," I said. "In exchange, I'll teach you Taekwondo. It'll give you more versatility in real fights."
I need to rely on repetition and effort to learn it .
Aikido fascinated me. Its elegance, redirecting force instead of meeting it head-on, felt far cooler than Taekwondo's direct aggression. But as we practiced, it became clear that mastering it would take serious time. Without a system quest or a dedicated card, I was stuck grinding it the hard way.
After that, I demonstrated Taekwondo basics.
"Like this," I said, performing a standard roundhouse kick, focusing on pivot, balance, and the snap of the leg.
Seojun stepped forward. He inhaled, watched my stance carefully, then executed the kick.
My eyes widened.
It wasn't just "decent." His form, foot angle, and knee snap were almost identical to mine.
'Wait… don't tell me,' I thought.
'Does he have it?'
It was the only explanation that made sense.
"Seojun," I said carefully, keeping my tone neutral, "do you have Copy ability? Can you replicate what you see?"
He looked genuinely confused.
"Copy? I don't know. I just… watched you and tried to do the same ."
I explained the concept—an ability that allowed someone to replicate techniques just by seeing them once. He listened quietly and admitted that imitating movements had always come naturally to him.
Seohee, on the other hand, didn't show the same trait. Even though they were siblings, the ability hadn't manifested in her. Maybe she inherited the intelligence, while Seojun inherited the physical talent , or maybe her copy ability didn't showed yet like it also took haru time to get it .
We moved into the indoor gym for strength training before we heading toward our respective rooms to take shower.
---
Breakfast was far more relaxed.
My mother greeted Seojun and me warmly at the table.
"Where's Seohee?" she asked, glancing toward the stairs.
"Probably still in the shower or buried in a makeup bag," I said casually. "You know how it is—women's things take time."
My mother and Seojun laughed.
When Seohee finally joined us, looking refreshed and sharp, we chatted briefly about the day's plans. When it was time to leave, I noticed both siblings heading toward the car.
"Alfred, take them to school," I said. "I'll take the bike. I'll see you there."
I wanted the freedom of the superbike for the morning.
The ride to school was fast and quiet, the cold air cutting through me as the engine roared beneath my control.
---
I met Ryu Sigyeong on the rooftop.
He wasn't alone.
Six other students stood nearby, talking quietly. They looked like typical delinquents, but there was something heavier about their presence.
"Hey, Boss" Ryu said, nodding toward me. "Greet him. He's our boss now."
I whispered, "Sneak Peak," and watched the stat windows appear.
Most of them were in the A-to-B range. Not monsters—but all have solid potential of A and a Perfect foundations for a specialized crew.
I explained what Constellation offered: protection, resources, and growth.
Soon they all agreed to join .
I dispersed them and told them to come tomorrow and meet at the headquarters, or our new base location that Seohee found .
They nodded and left. I spoke briefly with Ryu before heading to my own classes, which passed in boredom.
---
After school, Seojun and I got on the bike and headed toward North Gangbuk Middle School.
We searched the grounds until we found a secluded spot behind the class.
Two older kids were hovering over a smaller boy. He didn't fight back. He just stared at the floor.
"That's him," Seojun whispered. "Dowoon Lee."
I focused.
[STAT CHECK: DOWOON LEE]
Strength: D
Speed: D
Potential: SS+
Intelligence: A
Endurance: C
My pulse quickened.
SS+ potential.
No wonder the author of Viral Hit had to remove him from the story—otherwise, how would we ever see how good the original MC really is?
Seojun stepped forward and chased the bullies off without effort.
I approached Dowoon.
"Come with us," I said. "Your father asked us to take you home."
He hesitated, but the mention of his father worked.
---
At his house, his father was furious when he saw his son skipping school—until I asked to speak privately.
'System. Activate Silver Tongue.'
I crafted my words carefully, mixing authority with reassurance. I told him that my grandfather is this, and I can help Dowoon take any job he wants, so there's no need to pressure him. Let him stay with us and live like a normal kid. Under the influence of the card, his anger faded. When we returned, he told Dowoon that from now on he wouldn't force him to study, and he could live his life freely. He also told Dowoon to become good friends with us.
---
That evening, I loaded everyone into a four-seater.
"Where are we going?" Seohee asked.
"Out," I said. "We've been working too hard. It's time to act like kids for a few hours."
We spent the evening at a major shopping and entertainment complex. Seohee went on a shopping spree, picking out outfits . Seojun and Dowoon followed suit, and we eventually ended up at the game center. Watching them laugh and compete at the arcade machines made the stress of the quests feel a world away. On the drive back, the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. I caught Dowoon's eye in the rearview mirror.
I asked Dowoon, "Will you join my crew?"
Before he could answer, the system flickered.
[MAIN QUEST: THE ELITE TEN]
Objective: Recruit 10 members
Requirement: Potential > S or Intelligence > S+
Reward: 1 Master Card
After thinking for a while of what happened today how his life completly changed he replied " Yes , I will " with a smile
[QUEST PROGRESS: 3/10]
The system had already registered the core team:
Dowoon Lee (Potential: SS+)
Seohee (Intelligence: SS+)
Seojun (Potential: SSS-)
I dropped Dowoon off at his home, promising to pick him up for training the next day, and finally pulled into my own driveway. Alfred helped us with the shopping bags, and we spent the rest of the evening in the living room with my mother.
