He was aware that they were merely colleagues but he'd seen it. The way his forest green eyes stared at her, it bothered him.
It almost made him feel…jealous.
"Isn't it obvious?" He questioned back. "That man has feelings for you and he might be proposing to you the moment he has you alone. The movie night he came up with was his one-time opportunity to have you alone to himself for a while."
Delfina scoffed as if she'd just heard the craziest thing ever.
"I'm married, Dominic. You know that. He knows that. Everyone knows that. So, tell me, why would Jack ask me out when he already knows I'm married to you with a child?" She demanded, her nose flaring. "And even if he does, why does it bother you? Yes, I won't do anything to sabotage our marriage contract for the next five years. But that doesn't mean I'll let you invade my relationships like this, Dominic."
Dominic's lips thinned. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't.
