Delfina decided to end the silence and asked, "Who are you?"
Verena blinked at Delfina. She tried to sit up on the bed but quickly winced in pain.
Quickly, Samantha went to her side to try to help her up.
Comfortably seated, Verena's eyes flicked to everyone in the room. Two men were present. She recognized the one standing right next to Delfina. She'd seen him in the video Samantha had shown her a few days ago.
He was Dominic Silvestri, her husband.
The other man standing behind them, who locked gaze with her like she was some threat, was unfamiliar.
Then her gaze returned to Delfina.
"I'm Verena Santiago, and this is my sister," she gestured to Samantha. "Samantha Santiago."
Dominic's gaze darkened at that last name but he continued to remain quiet.
"I found you trending on Instagram a few days ago, and I must, we look too similar to each other to think we're not related in any way. So, I came here to talk to you. Are you my twin sister that my parents abandoned?"
