Chapter 161 - Chapter 159 – The Truth

Jay POV

My head hurt.

A lot.

I slowly opened my eyes.

Darkness.

The room smelled like dust and metal.

My hands were tied behind a chair.

"…Great."

I sighed quietly.

Kidnapped.

Again.

But this time it felt different.

Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing.

I tested the rope slightly.

Tight.

Professional knots.

"Finally awake?"

A familiar voice echoed from the darkness.

My eyes narrowed.

Footsteps approached slowly.

Then the man stepped into the light.

Blond hair.

Cold smile.

Expensive suit.

My eyes immediately hardened.

"…Kaiser."

Kaiser Watson

He clapped slowly.

"Impressive. You recognized me immediately."

I leaned back in the chair calmly.

"What do you want?"

Kaiser laughed softly.

"You're very calm for someone tied to a chair."

I shrugged.

"I've had worse Mondays."

He walked closer.

"You ruined me."

Ah.

So that was it.

Revenge.

I tilted my head slightly.

"You ruined yourself."

His smile disappeared instantly.

"Don't play games with me."

He grabbed the back of the chair suddenly and leaned close to my face.

"Because of you… the government has removed me and warned me to stay away from the Watson business."

So that was the real damage.

Money.

Reputation.

I smiled faintly.

"That sounds like a you problem."

His fist slammed onto the table beside me.

"YOU TRICKED ME."

My eyes stayed calm.

"Yes."

He stared at me.

Then suddenly laughed again.

"You're unbelievable."

He walked across the room.

"You know what's funny?"

I didn't respond.

"You still don't understand your situation."

He turned around slowly.

"You think Keifer will save you."

I finally spoke.

"I didn't say that."

He smirked.

"Oh but he will try."

He leaned against the table.

"And that's exactly why I took you."

My eyes narrowed.

"Explain."

His smile became darker.

"Simple."

He tapped something on his phone.

A screen on the wall lit up.

Security camera footage.

Outside.

A road.

And Keifer standing beside my motorbike earlier.

I understood immediately.

"…You wanted him to find the phone."

Kaiser grinned.

"Correct."

My mind started connecting the pieces.

This wasn't just kidnapping.

This was a trap.

"You want Keifer to come after you."

"Exactly."

He spread his arms dramatically.

"Revenge tastes better when the entire Watson family watches their precious heir fail."

My eyes hardened.

"You're insane."

He leaned forward.

"Maybe."

Then he whispered.

"But tonight… I win."

I stayed silent for a moment.

Then I smiled slightly.

That annoyed him.

"Why are you smiling?"

I looked straight into his eyes.

"Because you made one mistake."

He frowned.

"What mistake?"

My voice dropped calmly.

"You kidnapped the wrong girl."

His smile slowly disappeared.

Because at that exact moment…

Somewhere far away…

Keifer and Hex were already coming.

And when those two worked together…

Things usually ended very badly.
